The personal spaces could be kept a little cleaner, the overall public areas are kept pretty clean. They have plenty of activities, my loved one chooses not to participate. The food seems to be fine. I would like to see them be a little more prompt when a call is put in. We liked the location, and the fact that they had a full time medical staff onsite. Some of the aides could be trained a little better.

I was impressed with what I saw. The rooms we nicely decorated and welcoming. The companion room was large with an architectural design that offered privacy for both occupants. There were several family gathering places. The planned activities were varied. The problem is the cost. The basic rate is reasonable, but all of the services are el a carte and the upfront community fee is equal to one month's rent which is extreme! Mom would come in (according to the present assessment)at the highest level. Every time she needed something, there would be a price tag on the service. We can't afford this place.

Elevator but easy to get around

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far I have no complaints of how things are going. The facility is a lot newer so I am hoping once they get some more experience with how things go, everything will run smoother. The staff have been kind and I am comfortable with the care they have been providing my mother at this time.

Overall we're satisfied with our experience at Brookdale Delta. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the people who work here do their best to help the residents. I do think they could stand to add a few more people to the staff for some additional hands-on help, but generally we are satisfied.

The woman who did the initial intake process was great but she was not honest about how the transportation worked. When I reached out, she never responded. It may me feel as though it was a "money grab" as opposed to having the patient's interest as the most important thing. Thankfully the front desk staff was really nice. Overall I was happy with the accommodations and it proved to be a nice transition from the hospital prior to my sister going home permanently. I did recommend the facility to others for temporary, short term respite care. I cautioned them to be mindful of the young lady though. I'm not even sure if she is still there or not. I didn't appreciate being lied to and certainly didn't appreciate not receiving a response when I reached out again.

Helpful with setting up and assisting families . It recommended for more high functioning people. My mom is more high functioning than the people that lived there so it wasn't a fit for her . I was disappointed they don't assist with rides to doctors appointments

Care Cardinal was bought out around the time that we moved my mom. The place we had planned to move her to, was closed and so we ended up at another place which gave her adequate care. I was frustrated that in a few days time we were told yes and then we were told no. We moved her into another one of their places which was a long drive for me. I had been looking for some place close. So it was a hard move, hard on my mom and hard on me but mom adjusted and so did I. The care was ok. I see problems with most places although that care for memory care patients. I hear so many frustrations. I found there were good people working there and that is what I choose to focus on. My mom was content and she also had hospice care which gave a higher level of care for her than I think she would have had with just the place she was at.

I would say that the person who is going to live there needs to be pretty well off to afford it, but it's a nice place with good activities and food if you can comfortably afford it.

Our biggest issues have been with getting her billing correct and at times they've only had 1 person on staff. Staff is very nice. We like that it is smaller, more personalized and cleaner than other facilities we looked at.

Good value for the money. Nice, clean common areas and activities. Main floor staff good. (Care services if needed so-so, inconsistent.)

Crystal Creek was my least favorite facility that I visited for the price and for the living space. Again the residents seemed way older than my loved one and needed more care than she did.

We picked this community because it was clean, and close by. My loved one wasn't happy there. I wouldn't recommend it. One huge problem is that many of the staff on their independent nursing floor are mean. Yes, mean. Shouldn't be in that position.

I feel like the prices quoted were very different than what was billed. But if it's affordable for someone it's a great place to have a family member live.
