I was impressed with the facility and how the living quarters are organized by what type of care the resident requires. Very clean and the residents I observed seemed happy and involved. The staff made sure they were all engaged in the activity. A bit on the high side for my mom's budget though.

Place was active, residents engaged us and let us know they enjoyed being there. Rooms do not have enough closet space unless you take the Double room as a single

The staff was very friendly during our visit, they made sure to give us a very detailed tour of there community and answer any questions my loved one and I had for them. The facility was very well maintained and all of the bedrooms where kept nice and clean. The location was just not a right fit for my dad.

Everything is going very well for my mother since her move to this community. They have a lovely staff, and I was pleased with all they did for us. They took very care of her and her needs. It is a good looking community. Everything has worked out very well, and I'am pleased.

I was able to take a tour of the community and the people are great and I feel are knowledgeable. I wasn't happy with a lot of things that were going on, but after saying something to the proper people was able to get it fixed. I feel that this place is more show then go!

This is a lovely community with very nice people. They really go above and beyond with the care they provide. The staff is great, they are very attentive and helpful. They even took my husband to one of the car cruises they have out here to see the care, he really enjoys that. I would highly recommend this community. Everybody here is great and very caring.

The facility is great. The staff is very friendly. They offer different activities. The food is good there.

I can't possibly rate the last four categories just being there one afternoon moving my mother in The director of sales was fantastic! Caregiver was very friendly Dining- She was very lost and no one talked to her including dining staff. Other than her first dining experience everything was great

I thought that all of the staff members at the Sunrise Bloomfield did a really, really great job. They were very attentive, sincere and very accessible, when we needed them. We were just very happy to have my loved one here. Very happy.

We weren't here long at all before our loved one passed away. We didn't know it was that close to the end. We didn't get to experience much of the community, but it seemed like a nice place. I didn't have any complaints.

So far our experience with Sunrise of Rochester has been a good one. They were very helpful throughout the whole touring and move-in process, and provided us a lot of useful information. The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff are friendly. After moving in we've had a little trouble getting them to respond to requests, but overall things have gone very well.

I was pleased with the service. Everybody was friendly and very caring. They called her by name from the very beginning. They had a lot of activities going on. The food is really good. If a resident doesn't show for breakfast or lunch they check to make sure everything is ok. I really liked how attentive they were.

We chose Sunrise for our loved one because it was half the price of a nursing home but still get the care that we needed. We are paying around $5,000 a month and the care is what we were looking for. When looking into nursing homes they were running about $9,000 a month but we didn't need all the extra care those communities provide. Sunrise is doing a very good job and we are very pleased with them. We would recommend Sunrise to anyone.

Rooming options - shared bathroom and own room would be our preference.

Very clean Expanding, liked the area very much

The Westover was an older place but had a lot of amenities. They had a pool and a lot of things going on, but not much of what my father would use. The place was nice and so were the people, it was just not what we were looking for.

Communication around care could be better / would appreciate initiative in setting up regular care plan meetings. It's all about the food. My mom has gained a lot of weight in a short period of time. While I'm glad it's good food, I wish there were diverse entertainment options that didn't center around food and more attention to nutritional value. Not yet set up to care for various functional levels of dementia. My mom is very physically functional, and while they do include her in some assisted living activities, she's stuck most days with lower functioning residents. Added, her social needs are rarely being met. Moving in and the facility in general are great. They were, and have been easy to work with and are extremely accommodating. Plus, the room is sizeable, and the facility is cleaner than most. They are actively trying to improve, and the effort is noted and appreciated. Healthcare is hard and they're doing their best!

Overall I am pretty happy at Bradford. There have been 2 hostile staff members though.

Needs better communication with the staff and better meals, more comfort foods!

Very average to below average- would not recommend. Care staff not very friendly or responsive. Assistance wait time is unacceptable. Consistently waiting for >1-2 hrs for assistance when calling for help. Think about the fact that many of the residents are 100% dependent on the staff to assist to the bathroom or getting them to dining room. Not patient with people. They are way understaffed. Staff Refuse to wake up a resident after they have called and waited for assistance- wake them up they needed something.
