Poor administration. Could not keep staff especially in the kitchen. They never had servers so they would Put out a "buffet". They would run out of milk and butter. The activities were once a month instead of weekly. They always had the billing wrong.

Enlightening I am one of the youngest people here at 71 so it's really different being around people that are 10 to 20 years older than you but you learn a lot from them and they learn from you, especially The computers and phone phones. I would recommend it to others.

In General, it is a wonderful place. But they definitely overcharge. The food is amazing. They DO charge too much for guest meals. Three times what other establishments do. But the food is also a much higher quality and it is healthier. Still... If we want to eat with my in-laws, it costs us more than going to a restaurant. I think a lot of the activities are interesting. But my in-laws, who live there, don't find any of them interesting. They think they're juvenile. My in-laws wish there were more outings. They also complained that they are charged[Amount removed]each trip, and are still expected to buy things when they get to their locations. I find this an overcharge as well. The staff seem really nice, but some of them smell. You need to get a no smoking rule in place. They may not be smoking in the building, but the 3rd hand smoke is horrible. They also nickel and dime them on everything, so my in-laws are afraid to ask for help. The rest of the building smells nice, but their room constantly smells of diarrhea and wet depends. They need to check on the residents more. They need to clean and do laundry more often. Instead they wait until they are asked.

My dad was only there a short time before he passed. On the whole the facility was nice and the staff was nice. I felt their care was appropriate from an individual perspective. There were some concerns regarding communication and consistency in daily care. At times, it was unclear whether care plans were being followed as expected. There were also challenges related to medication management and coordination between care providers, which raised questions about overall oversight.

Our former Manager was escorted out in less than a month. The assistant was moved up to be manager. She is young but very inexperienced. She has grown into the job rather well. I think that Arrow is too big in 4 states and wants us all alike. We have been without a chef since December. We are still very understaffed. They have made the servers cooks! There is basically no staff on the weekends. Arrow has added a receptionist from 7 to 4 on the weekend. And the administrative staff leave at 4 daily.

Apartment size great! Staff in memory care and nurses great! They need more people to do various things. Food great! Would love to see them do more activities though keep the higher functioning Mc patient engaged. Lots of down time for them. Cleanliness great! All administrative things are a nightmare. I have met countless times with the exec director. We still don't have it all ironed out and moms been there 6 weeks. Communication about those things is apologetic but still awful.

I honestly do not have a lot of positive things to say about the experience at Madison Senior Living. It has been a major ordeal, but I think it is just the system. I assume it is probably the same anywhere else you go.

The apartment size is good. Food is not good, inadequate transportation, it is very limited and I have mice in my apartment.

Mainly because a new building with kinks that took awhile to work out. The size of my one bedroom apt is good, though some quirks in design of kitchen I would have changed. The residence are lovely and we have a cozy down to earth community. Personnel good though keeping kitchen help has been an issue, but that's more an arrow management problem. It's attractive and clean.

Care was ok, he was happy there but they nickel and dimed us on everything. They kept raising prices for care even though hospice was taking care of most everything. We moved him, and monthly costs were less than half what we were paying at Fremont.

I'm waiting on availability for a private memory care closer to home and I will move my mom. House keeping isn't great unless you complain for several weeks. Most of the staff are nice. when they can keep staff a handful are good the rest are just there to collect a check. Way Over priced

Not to paint with a broad brush but every single one of these facilities that is within your price range is a nightmare. If you can’t afford $[fee removed]k per month then you are in for a rude awakening. Carriage court is no different even though we pay a lot of money for my father-in-law to stay here. Pros - seemingly a lot of staff, stays fairly clean and doesn’t have the pervasive urine smell like other places, dining options have good rotation, rooms are decent/expected, nice location, residents seem happy and cordial with each other, and front desk staff are always present/available. Cons - director is IMPOSSIBLE to reach. [name removed] makes herself scarce at all costs. At times won’t even walk 10 feet out of her office to speak with you. The actual patient care staff are not good. They have left my FIL in his room to miss meals more times than I can count. They allowed him to fall in the shower despite being 3 ft away. They do not come when alerted. Low expectations are a must here.

They have a big turnover of staff. Some not so friendly or helpful. Cleanliness of room was only fair. Pricing misleading at first. So many things not included as we were led to believe Big turnover of staff. These residents need consistency and faces they grow to depend on Most staff friendly

I think the staff they have tries their best and they seem to be very patient. But for some reason they seem to have a high attrition rate. When they can't fill their open positions they aren't able to offer all of the services they claim they have to offer. (Such as transportation services, timely maintenance services, or the same quality/variety of food) I don't know if staffing issues are an industry wide problem or if there is a leadership issue at Boulevard specifically.

Beautiful property. They have some great care partners but it could be better if there was some leadership. Staff are often not focused on care. Families need to stay diligent. Dmfood is very good and the maintenance staff do a great job. Rooms are quiet so residents can rest

However, ongoing staffing issues mean that service is compromised. No one other than the executive director has any information or ability to resolve issues. The executive director is not easily contacted. I have emailed and left written requests for a phone call to discuss ongoing issues. The billing system is haphazard and erroneous charges have been added each month. The only resolution is a "credit". This is not acceptable for persons living on a budget. We were told there were concierge services we could purchase a la carte but they are so understaffed that they cannot provide them. The menu rarely matches the printed menu provided each month and service is very slow. Transportation has been cut to one per week between a small window of time. Again, I suspect this is a staffing issue. We are supposed to have free cable but it does not work and has not since day 1 with repeated requests for repair. We were told there was a pendant system for fall alerts. Again, no pendant despite repeated requests. The result of their disorganization and staffing has meant that we have had to hire outside services for solutions that were supposed to be included as part of their amenities package. The residents and staff are friendly and the building is quite nice but it is clearly being mismanaged.

There were plenty of great activities for the able participants but we were disappointed about keeping our family member encouraged and engaged with others. The cost seems to go higher regularly.

I've found the staff to be friendly and pleasant enough, but I haven't had to work with them on an extended basis, so my experience with them is limited. The one exception is with the main chef/cook in the kitchen. My mom has lactose intolerance, and their menu up until a few months ago included several meals with dairy products—cheese as an ingredient in many meals. The chef wasn't particularly accommodating of her condition, it seemed, so my mom was pretty irritated about that almost all the time. Then, the chef found out he was also lactose intolerant, and started to change the menu seemingly because of that. I will also say that my mom, let's say, expresses dissatisfaction with many things, and since meals happen for all of us a few times daily, that was one reason she would tell me "I've gotta get out of here." But since the chef has changed the menu a bit for the lactose intolerance aspect, my mom seems more satisfied with the facility. My mom can be challenging, though.
