I was very pleased with my tour of this community. There was lots of great amenities available and had was a lot smaller of a facility then some of the other ones I had looked at. I also was impressed with the administration and how willing they where to work with my mother and I on the financial end and find something that works for us. The only thing my mom did not like was it was a completely none smoking complex.

We liked the tour that we went on. The staff was very good and explained everything to us. They showed us around and we got to see some of the residents out and about. It just was not a good fit for mom.

Friendly experIenced staff always, helpful always available

After researching many places I decided to place my Dad here. It is a very nice place and the staff were all very nice. They have both assisted living and dementia/alzheimers. The only thing I was unhappy with is they charge a 1 time "community fee" of $1000.00 which is non-refundable. My dad died after just a week being there. So I was out the $1000.

I recommend University Living as a place for your parents if they need care giving. My mother was challenging at times and the staff was always kind, caring and helpful. I am very blessed to have found a place where my parents could be together during their last weeks. They went above and beyond with my mother during her critical time, and always attended to my father's needs and well being.

The staff is really friendly here. The personal rooms could use a little more attention. The food is not good for me at all, sometimes it's not worth my trip, they are great on desserts. I think they need a new cook. The activities aren't interesting to me, I have always been around younger people. We liked the room because it has an outside entrance. Their dryer makes my clothes wrinkle more than I would like and now I have to iron.

I was overall pleased with this community. The food was good when we first went, but it became progressively worse over the months. The centralized location in Fremont is ideal for medical, groceries, shopping, etc. I would highly recommend this community. My only real complaint is the food.

I looks like it will be a great facility, but they are not quite there yet. There was a lot of water damage when we went, and seems to be a work in progress. They had an apartment with a bedroom with a study. Thinking back those turns would be a little difficult to maneuver in a wheelchair.

The people are wonderful! The place is beautiful and the meals are excellent with plenty of choices. The apartments are small but large enough for one and have full kitchens which aren't really necessary... they could be downgraded to kitchenettes and give more living space. My only regret is they don't have quit enough care services for my mother to qualify for VA Widows pension, which would have made it within her price range. The apartment and weekly cleaning are worth $750. But the rest of the amenities including meals are not worth $1200.

I liked the people there, I had a problem with the two levels and dealing with the elevators. I didn't see their actual memory care but I was looking at their transition piece

Interaction with the medical staff on behalf of our mom was about a 6 or 7 out of 10 at times.

Size of apartment-great Staff-usually good but short handed Food-getting better but few choices before new management Cleanliness-regular change with trash but apartment cleaning is rare. Seems as if staffing is the overall problem.

Overall experience: Definitely did everything to get you in--but really dropped the ball after my aunt's death--not very helpful in guiding us. Crickets after she died. I feel we got cheated on our refund. No explanation--just a check in the mail. I didn’t even know what it was for. Staff/care: The staff care was a little better than average. Their :12 minute rule really was a great concept, but wasn't the case. Hospice was great. In home nursing, phenomenal. Vitalia staff was just ok. Food/activities: My aunt was only there a short time, so I can't comment. I think the "see you--bye" attitude I received was off putting. Hard for me to really evaluate because discharge left a bad taste in my mouth.

Food is cold alot. The staff and everything else is fine. The kitchen is the problem for me.

The Princeton is a nice facility but has hot water problems. My Mom likes it but the hot water is an issue. When we moved in, they didn’t tell us that they were having problems with hot water delivery. It took almost a month and a half for them to even deliver warm water. We would have delayed moving if we had known about the hot water issue. They were not forthright about the hot water. The receptionist is great. She seems to know what is going on. The rest of the staff is OK. Apartment size is great. Plenty of room for my Mom.

Monthly rate high, including all meals which I don't want/need. I asked for monthly fees over last three years and administration would not provide but said "from 5-10%".

I wrote last year about the slow meal service, and the situation has only gotten worse. Meals take an hour, and now my relative and her friends have had to write down breakfast orders for one server to hand to the cook because they do not speak English. The food is often cold and sometimes some portions are not delivered. The Bistro is still not stocked regularly. On several occasions I have tried to call the front desk and often no one answers. There are some nice features of Crestone, but these issues are important to daily life and residents have shared these grievances with the director.

Poor administration. Could not keep staff especially in the kitchen. They never had servers so they would Put out a "buffet". They would run out of milk and butter. The activities were once a month instead of weekly. They always had the billing wrong.

Enlightening I am one of the youngest people here at 71 so it's really different being around people that are 10 to 20 years older than you but you learn a lot from them and they learn from you, especially The computers and phone phones. I would recommend it to others.
