Merrill Gardens

Thee staff are very friendly and caring. They go over the top to help and make sure you are happy with the services you're getting for your loved one. The food was fine before Covid. I've not had a chance to try it since then. When they've been able to do activities, they've put them back on. They've been careful when they've needed to be. I would definitely recommend them.

Merrill Gardens was a very nice facility, it was just a little too modern for what we liked and there was not enough nature. It was a great tour and the staff were friendly.

I cannot a imagine a better place. the staff have all been there for decades. They are attentive, caring and open to speak with all of us. They are very generous with their time and energy. There are so many fun things to do. The bus is simple and amazing to use. i just cannot say enough good about Fig Garden.

I am really happy that we chose this community for my loved one. If you're looking for a place that will make you feel confident that your loved one is well taken care of and safe then this is the place. I would recommend this community to others.

Sometimes the food is really good and sometimes the food is not, for example we had lamp chops for dinner and it was amazing, but for breakfast it was served a little cold. The offer a wide variety of activities, they have a pool a gym and plenty of exercise classes. I have a huge one bedroom, with a kitchen, living room, a huge bathroom and huge walk in closet and a screened in patio. The price is okay but i do like living here. I have house keeping come once a week, and i have my own washer and dryer.

They've been great, even during the pandemic. The food suffered a little bit for a while, but is coming back up in quality again. They are a great value - in comparison shopping , the size of the apartments are very spacious, and the accommodations themselves are beautiful. The landscaping is beautiful, and there's a great dining facility, even though it has not been open yet. The location is very nice. It's very close to a small hospital, which makes care convenient, and it's also close to the marketplace for shopping. Merrill Gardens is off the beaten path, away from the high traffic areas. So you feel as if you're in the countryside, but there's plenty close by. My loved one was very happy with the nursing and medical staff there. The director of nursing was outstanding.

This place was great! My Aunt really liked it and what it had to offer. It was clean , bright and very cheerful. The one bedroom apartment was perfect for her needs.

I love [name removed] she was great and I love Arbour Square . My brother and I are hoping to get another tour on Saturday. I am waiting to hear back from [name removed]. We sent the pictures and information to my Mom. I hope this will be my mother’s new home!!!!

I would recommend you lookat the community. Compared to other communities they do better than other places. The food is pretty good. The communication has been fine with the staff. The room is very nice for my loved one. It is a nice community that is well maintained.

Professional, Polite, and Competitive. Clean environment and you can tell the team that works there does a great job.

We chose Merrill Gardens because of the value for the money as well as the location was convenient for family. they were really willing to work with my siblings and I to get her in here as quick as possible. She is in a studio apartment and I thought it was perfect for her. It reminds me of an over-sized dorm room. They keep our family informed of everything, there is always an email or a phone call so nothing is a secret. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

My family and I like it as the community has taken good care of me. My family feels safe here. The spaghetti is wonderful at the community. I don't care for the breakfasts are somewhat cold and they serve sausage.

The community is open, airy, and bright. Everyone there is very friendly. The atmosphere of the community is very positive. I would recommend this community to others

My loved one loves the community. They make sure there is an alert system in case of emergency. The food is amazing and they have lots of activities for all the residence. They get to know the residence and adapt to them.. The community is pet-friendly and the location is amazing. I would recommend this community to others

You can have peace of mind to know your loved one is safe and secure. I don't have to worry about my mom being in this community

During the time our loved one was there they were absolutely wonderful. The staff members were excellent and the nursing staff especially. They were really good about calling us with any updates regarding our loved ones health.

We chose Sheldon Park because it was recommended to us as a place we should look at from a physician friend who has had patients here. I looked at places and read reviews online and they had good reviews. They were very friendly and helpful, they did a video tour for us since we could not go inside. They had everything my father was looking for. The location is reasonably close to where I live so that was important as well so I could visit often. I think they are doing best that they can under these unique circumstances. Overall, we have been very pleased so far.

The community and staff don't always call us back when we have questions or concerns over my loved one. I also know they are short staffed due to the pandemic.
