It's a difficult situation to have to take your loved one from their independent living situation that they've fought for all their lives and put them into an assisted living facility like this. However, the people at Pine Rock Manor were awesome and really try hard to make it a good experience. An unfortunate reality of healthcare is that people can become desensitized to the ugly parts of their job as the years go on. That did not appear to be the case with these folks, the intentional care was very apparent, despite it all, and they go very much out of their way to show kindness to the residents and visitors like myself. Very impressed with this place!

[name removed] is safe and being taken care of. The staff is caring and kind. Dr. [name removed] has been very supportive and is looking out for [name removed]. There are lots of activities that are available and cover different areas of interest. She feels the food sometimes lacks spices.

[name removed] gave us a wonderful tour and took the time to get to know my father. She provided us with clear information and answered all of our questions. Very pleased with [name removed] and the structure of the entire community.

Very homey, clean and welcoming. Outside looks like a very nicely manacured house, inside sort of like a ski lodge. People I met were lovely and residents appeared well cared for and content.

I am writing this letter in reference to [name removed] and [name removed]. The care and friendship I have endured with them through my time here at Merill Gardens has been exceptional. They are courteous, attend to my needs, very helpful and always there if I need them. They always have a smile on their face and are willing to help. If I have a concern, they will address it with me and make every attempt to solve it in a timely manner. I would also like to say that [name removed] has been very patient with me and very helpful. She is an outstanding person and I appreciate all her help as well. In closing I would like to add that the team [name removed] has put together is outstanding. They are well qualified, helpful and thankful for them and [name removed]. I really appreciate each and every one of the Managers, Directors and staff.

My mother has recently moved into the memory care side of the Merrill Gardens building. The staff who take care of the people there are doing everything that they can to make her feel at home-they do a great job!

I have a loved one who recently moved into the Assisted Living section of the facility. We toured the facility at the recommendation of a family member, and were very impressed with the cleanliness of it and how friendly all the staff were. There are a lot of daily activities, he especially enjoys the workout facility and the twice weekly happy hour. Anyone needing care for themselves or a loved should definitely consider contacting Mission Ridge for a tour.

We are looking for a residence for our mother and the visit to Truwood was very pleasant and informative. The facilities and programs are very impressive. We also appreciated the information provided by our tour guide and more importantly, the clear communication regarding their pricing structure. Truwood is definitely a place to be considered and remains in the top three of those locations on our short list.

What a wonderful senior community for both independent seniors and seniors who need significant assistance. The staff at every level are warm and friendly and so very kind. The residents are also very welcoming and kind. One can feel the positive energy all around. Restaurant-style food is delicious and varied. Activities abundant. It almost feels like a cruise ship with a list of activities and outings along with great food and support. Most of all, our family has peace of mind that our parents are in a safe and nurturing environment.

The staff is very helpful and encouraging to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.

This facility checked all the boxes and then some for my father. He is looking forward to moving in. I will recommend this facility to others.

[name removed] was very friendly and upbeat. The facility is modern and bright and not too big. The food is excellent and the staff always friendly.

An orientation about the facilities and an explanation on the staff functions and expectations. Is there a chain of command? My mother has had to learn a lot about senior living the hard way! Thanks for asking.

All staff are friendly. Wait staff are fantastic! They remember what a persons favorite meal selection is. They know every one's name . I'm in independent living and appreciate that my bed has fresh linens weekly. Also wish my single bedroom was larger but do not want to pay for a two bedroom. I love that l can have my 2 cats here. There is a fee for them but l would not live here if l could not have them. Food is okay. I'm not much of a meat eater and there is a large selection. I like the privacy even though l'm a "people person". Have made many friends and consider them family.

Since my friend moved into Merrill Gardens Memory Care, I have seen [name removed] create thoughtful life-enrichment programs tailored for residents living with cognitive decline. She organizes monthly family gatherings with music, food, and social connection, and has introduced programs such as Inspire Connection that help residents build closer relationships through shared stories and photos. My friend especially enjoys helping set tables before meals, participating in art activities, attending uplifting Tuesday pastoral visits, and interacting with visiting pets.[name removed] also arranges meaningful outings, including trips to gardens in Long Beach. Most importantly, Courtney is attentive, compassionate, and welcoming to both residents and their families. My friend increasingly recognizes that she is safe, valued, and well cared for in her new home.

[name removed], the,the residents manager was kind and accommodating. She took time to sho all the aspects of living at Truewood. She offered several options. She had calm demeanor throughout the time I visited Truewood at Fig Gardens. I would encourage people to call for “ tour”.you will be much pleased to have done so!!

Like any place it isn't 100% perfect but it is good. The staff is very nice. The servers in the dining room are exceptionally kind and patient. We have had a couple instances where, as part of the room cleaning, they are supposed to change sheets but did not. However, when pointed out it was taken care of. Just occasional things like that but overall I would certainly rate it high when compared to similar facilities.

We are moving into one of the cottages. It became available sooner than we hoped for and we are very happy about it Thank you for all your help Gisele

The staff at Merrill Gardens at Wright Park is very accommodating. My sister and I, along with our husbands, came in on a Saturday morning without an appointment. [Name Removed], one of the marketing directors, met with us and gave an excellent tour which included a delicious lunch. We were so impressed with the facility that we put a deposit down to be added to the wait list for a 1 bedroom apartment. The building, furnishings and staff are all lovely. A studio apartment became available within a couple of weeks. We took it. Our mother had broken her hip and was in a recovery facility. The studio became available just as she was ready to leave the recivery center. It was perfect timing. The staff, especially [Name Removed], has taken great interest in Mom's transition to her new living situation and visits with Mom regularly and calls us with any concerns. We are very happy with Merrill Garnens at Wright Park.

I like the home the size of my mother's room is great. All the people that we deal with have been wonderful and easy to talk to the nurses are good. My mother is now in a contained area because of her dementia, but as probably many residence, she still wants to go home.
