Brookdale

This is our first experience in this type of care environment. We are very pleased with the care and compassion we have been shown. Our mother is slowly adjusting to her environment. Everyone is helping us through this difficult time.

I would rate a 5. Did not participate in activities as she was nearing the end of her life. A Place for Mom, Brookdale, and Serenity Hospice all get my highest rating and recommendation. Moving mom to Salem allowed me to spend more time with her at the end instead of her being two hours away in Roseburg. Thank you all so very much.

The moment you step through door you sense the warm and attentive staff and lots of happy residents! Easy to navigate with single story design and very impressed with tenured staff. Highly recommend if you are looking for a community known for its exceptional care and food! They also have ability to care for folks that need more care since they have nurses around the clock. 5 STARS!

This has been a heartbreaking journey with mom's dementia. We have been blessed with Brookdale and their wonderful staff. They have helped me understand how to cope with all the challenges this disease comes with.

Brookdale is a wonderful place to live. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The food is delicious and plentiful. There are activities but no pressure to participate.

My mom said it felt like home. We got the most for our money at Brookdale and the people are great.

They are friendly, they have many long term employees, they are available when we have questions or concerns, the place appears clean and well maintained. Good reviews, positive first visit, and location.

My loved one was supposed to move into Brookdale Monroe, unfortunately she passed before she was able to complete her move in. However, the staff who we met there were very welcoming and helpful in explaining the whole process, evaluating the scenario, getting an apartment reserved, doing the intake and working with the family. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, nice presentation and the other residents appeared to be happy. The discharge staff were prompt in getting the account closed and were very empathetic in the whole situation. I would recommend Brookdale Monroe to others.

This is a great community who truly care about the wellbeing of their residents. Everyone was most pleasant to work with and they have a warm and compassionate attitude. Would recommend to anyone needing this type of care.

The staff is always so pleasant and kind. You can tell that they love their work and caring for the residents. This line of work takes special people to work in the field of senior care. The residents are very blessed to have this staff.

Very friendly loving aides. My mother often leaving for the day hugs and exchanges I love yous! Same for the management, always takes their time with the residents. They create a very beautiful environment for the residents. And give them a lot of support when needed and space for privacy. The rooms are beautiful and they are cleaned regularly. I am very happy. And feel she is in a safe secure environment.

The facility is in a wonderful location, is well maintained, and very clean. It has a at home atmosphere. The staff, especially [name removed], were exceptionally helpful and informative. It was also far more affordable that I thought was possible.

I love the food, it’s all good! I’m satisfied with the service we get. I like this location because it’s close to our son and he comes to see us often. I get very good care from our nurse [name removed] and her staff who manages all of our medications. We really enjoy the live music and dancing we look forward to Bible study every Wednesday.

I’ve been busy here every day since I moved in about a year ago. I haven’t even missed my family farm where I grew up. I feel like my purpose is to help other people and lift them up. I’ve made some very close friends that feel like sisters. We are tighter than a corkscrew! We look out for each other every day. This is a very homey feel and I’m so happy!

The Brookdale Hattiesburg Memory Care staff put me at ease with my mom's move to the facility. They made sure to ask questions about her likes and dislikes. They always communicate about her needs and care. The move in was handled well by the director and support staff in getting mom in her room and feeling safe. We've been very pleased overall!
