Brookdale

From my first contact with Brookdale DeLand, I was met with compassion and over the top support. The team went out of their way to assist in a smooth transition for my mother from CT to FL. They acted as an extra set of hands in contacting 3rd party services which made our move possible. They even met us at 10:30 pm to welcome us. For the last two months we have been met with that same compassion, care and patience we received in the transition process.

We went to 9 places b 4 making a decision to pick Brookdale. With the 4 of us that went to most of the other facilities we all agreed this was the best fit. Arlene did a great job answering our questions and concerns

It's very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The facilities are clean, quiet and well designed for senior living. The activities and services are consistent and stimulating for this age group. We feel very good about our decision to go there.

I walked into Gaines Ranch for the first time and immediately noticed all the residents in the lobby - smiling, laughing, conversing and I smiled. The Marketing person I met first was open, friendly, and never made me feel overwhelmed with a strong "sales pitch." I immediately felt at home and I never even visited another community. I have now lived here one year and I have never regretted my decision to make Gaines Ranch my home one minute. The staff is so warm and goes out of their way to make my life happy and useful. The activities are everything I hoped for. I have the fun I expected and ways to continue to contribute that I thought I would probably never enjoy again. The friendships I've made are precious. Am I happy here? Absolutely.

This place is the best place around New Port Rickey.

The employees know every residents name, what they need and what they like. We attend every friends for life event, and the employees create a cheerful and welcoming event.

I have lived in a Brookdale community for five years. I really think Westlake exceeds other facilities. I feel at home. I love the staff and residents.

Love Brookdale tanglewood oaks! Such a lovely place and the staff are so wonderful. It’s almost as if you’ve never left home. Shaantrice and the staff in whole are extraordinary, so caring and the friendliest people you could meet!

I am a friend of the family and I was so impressed with the care and friendliness of the Staff from the moment we walked in to look at Brookdale. The Assisted Living Residence was inviting as soon as I walked in. The sun shines through the building and there are many windows so I could see outside and not feel closed off from the world outside.

I want to say that Brookdale Deland is amazing! My mother was so welcomed by the community and staff. Her room was beautiful and easy to decorate. They have several different floor plans. [name removed] and [name removed] are so kind and spoke with my mom about all the concerns she had. It is hard leaving a house that you have been in for so many years and they totally understand and helped my mom with her questions. Their care didn't stop at Brookdale. My mom was closely looked after and checked on. My mom was truly cared about here. I love they have a window in each room to look out to the courtyard. My mom enjoys sitting on the back patio. If you are searching for a place for your loved one-this should by your final stop!

I went to visit and meet the staff and this community is so beautiful with gorgeous aged trees, ponds, a beautiful club house and an annex building where they have arts and crafts along with a pretty amazing game room. The staff was extremely kind and helpful on questions I had in regards to the community. I was very pleased to see their residents out and about being active, playing games, chatting together in different areas, etc. I would suggest this place to anyone who might be looking for Independent or Assisted Living options.

After stays at several other facilities, I feel that my 94-year-old Mom has found her true home. Management is very friendly, professional and responsive. The nursing staffing is exceptional. They monitor the health and well being of my Mom and partner with her health professionals to address any issues. They keep me in the loop on all matters and we work together to make sure my Mom is happy and healthy. I can't say enough about the care staff. They treat each resident like treasured family members with their care and compassion. My Mom loves the lectures, the outings, the parties, and of course, Bingo. This is the happiest I have seen her in a long time and it provides me with a wonderful sense of calm and peace of mind.

I would tell a friend, it's a wonderful place and caring people is what makes it so wonderful.We loved Brookdale. We picked this community for the memory care unit.

Being at Brookdale has changed our lives for the better in so many ways. We were in a rehab and looking for a community to call home. No one would accept Barbara and I began to lose hope. When nurse [name removed] at Brookdale came to see us, it wasn’t looking too good based on Barbara’s condition. But she was gracious enough to reassess closer to our discharge date. And now we call Brookdale home. Barbara is doing better than expected and is even off of hospice! Brookdale has really answered our prayers and I couldn’t imagine having Barbara anywhere else.

My father has lived at Brookdale GT for several years. Prior to moving him there, we were at another assistant living facility which was an absolute awful experience. On one occasion, my father called me afraid and upset because there were no staff members answering. When I phoned the direct line to the facility, the young lady stated that she was the only one to show up to work. Since being at Brookdale, the staffing has not changed. This community has not had a revolving door like most places. The nurse [name removed] has been very helpful with my father who has had medication side effects. She noticed my father experiencing tardiness dyskinesia from a new medication and she acted fast by contacting me and his physician. I could go on with so many great experiences at this community. When you walk in, it may be dated but the atmosphere is pleasant as if you are home. Thank you Brookdale Georgetown! ~Tara

I cannot express how great this community is. The staff has been at this community for many years. They might not be the trendiest community but my father feels at home and is comfortable in the environment. My father also enjoyed the home cooked meals, I even enjoy lunch with him from time to time. Don’t look anywhere else this is a great place to call home.

The staff maintains a family focus where residents are constantly engaged in activities and interactions in the living and dining room. A large garden provides access to outdoor experiences.

Roseburg Brookdale has taken such good care of my mom. And they contact me often about updates with happenings with mom. I would recommend anyone with Alzheimer parent or pardoner disease contact Brookdale Roseburg Oregon
