The staff is extremely attentive and caring. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The patio area was lovely, and residents were enjoying the outdoors. My friend says she is well cared for and loves the meals.

My experience has been very good so far. The move-in process was pretty smooth, and it’s been nice meeting other residents. I like the exercise class and other programs offered. The the food and overall dining experience is good - definitely give that 5 stars.

Brookdale West, Ormond Beach, FL, runs more like a family home than a “facility.” Not only are “fun activities” regularly, but residents are sometimes allowed to “help out” according to their abilities and wishes. Helps the residents with their self esteem.

Next to my former home, for 30 years and in Wichita Falls, TX. I couldn't be more happy!

Very well taken care of outsider, inside. Sitting outside and viewing the lake and ducks. Impressed by housekeeping on job. Laundry is well done. Professionally well kept, clean. Staff I give an A plus.

My husband and I find Parkplace physically beautiful, the staff friendly and eager to meet individual needs. Activities are diverse, in the building and in the community. I especially like the pool and the dining room.

As long term residents of Oak Park, Brookdale stood out as an attractive retirement facility because of its downtown location with its varied stores, restaurants and cinema, and proximity to the main Post Office and Library, and to two attractive Village parks. Then, unexpectedly, we actually needed to sell our home of 53 years and put our "some day" thoughts to the test. Happily, Brookdale proved to offer even more than we recognized, including a very friendly and helpful staff, a stunning two bedroom, two bath apartment, and, of equal importance, a welcoming community of vibrant, varied and fascinating residents.

My experience at Brookdale Hillsborough has been positive since my first visit to the site. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the grounds are lovely and well-manicured. There are many and varied daily activities to keep the residents entertained and engaged, and the meals are nutritious and offer a variety of choices. Most importantly, the entire staff (management, nurses and medical staff, aides, facility coordinators, etc.) are very pleasant, and attentive to the needs of each resident. I can approach anyone with questions or concerns about my mother's status and expect the issue to be addressed quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Brookdale Hillsborough for anyone considering a caregiving facility for their loved one.

I appreciate the friendly staff, who always seem ready to help. The variety of activities that they offer are especially high quality. Trips to lunch, scenic rides, museums, operas, symphonies and house exercise, movies and etc....

From my first tour 8 months ago, to today, I have nothing but praise for this facility and all the wonderful folks that keep my 102 year-old mother comfortable, safe, and happy which became impossible for me to do at home. It is small, meticullously maintained, and the staff is caring.

We enjoy the friendliness of residents, and have made good friends quickly. The food is good and the choices are adequate. There are many activities for residents, including games, lectures, discussions, and conversations. Brookdale OP is located in a residential area with a wooded park, shopping and theater nearby.

Mom is a very social person, and was pretty isolated at her rural home with a single caregiver. I've noticed that her mood is better and while she has yet to participate in any scheduled activities she is interacting with her new friends at mealtimes, as well as the nursing and aid staff, who in general are very friendly and responsive. Very happy that we chose Brookdale Hillsborough as a residence for her next phase of life.

As residents of independent living at Brookdale Oak Park for the past year and a half, we are delighted with our choice to move here. It is a friendly and welcoming community with a wide range of activities. There’s something of interest for everyone and friendships are easy to form. Staff is helpful and available. The location in downtown Oak Park is ideal. Stores, restaurants, the library, post office, banks, pharmacies, parks, Frank Lloyd Wright houses and more are all within walking distance.

Brookdale has been nothing short of amazing for my Nana, whom has Parkinson’s dementia. As many know, there will be good days and bad days with dementia. Brookdale gives her the grace and dignity to age with compassion. Staffing is kind and Beverly, the events director, does a fantastic job organizing social occasions for family to be involved. Family dinner nights are a huge hit! And most importantly, I know my nana is safe with round the clock care. It was tough making that decision to find placement for her but I have no regrets with Brookdale. As a nurse and as a family member, I highly recommend this memory care living facility.

A nice place to visit, great and caring staff. Always very attentive to residents.. always having fun with activities. Nice clean environment. Very secure and well maintained.

My mother is a resident here and we've had nothing but wonderful experience. The staff is welcoming, open and help take care of my mother with the utmost care. The facility is beautiful with an open floor format that provides my mother with so many activities. She loves it and so do we.
