Brookdale

The staff is nice and they get to know your name. Housekeeping is good, they come once a week. The meals are good. I would recommend this facility to others.

I would recommend for independent living- don't know about their assisted or memory sections.I think I picked it due to the attractiveness of the apartments and cost.

I would recommend the Colony to anyone in need of memory care. I believe the care there is exceptionally good.We picked this community because it was affordable, small capacity = more personal attention, and good management.

Brookdale Murray has between 4-6 activities happening a day for its residents. You can hear the laughter from the residents as soon as walk through the door. The whole staff treats everyone like family. The food is delicious and they’ve even incorporated a regional favorite, fried catfish, on the menu for every Friday. They are also pet friendly and have therapy dogs that come in as well. The local community is invited in to join weekly events. They also participate in a lot of local events within the community such as Bingo at the Senior Center and local parades and veterans events. It’s a place you’ll truly enjoy!

I highly recommend Brookdale Murray if you are looking for an Assisted Living Community in or around this area. The residents are treated like family and they have so much fun with all types of activities every day. You can’t find a better community for seniors.

I would and have recommended them. Our experience was not great, but I do not believe that Brookdale was at fault at all. My dad was difficult and has left the facility on his own.

She had all good things to say but wishes there was more info available on move in. She didn't know where to get mail or how to find out about activities. It was all overwhelming at first so she may have been told but would have been good to have someone who checked in on her the first few weeks. But she's getting the hang of it now and likes her new community.

We chose Brookdale Carriage Club because it has varying levels of care from independent to dementia care, so we were sure we would find all the needs of my parents met.Our experience has been great! We moved my parents in after my mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. The community was welcoming, sweet, helpful, and kind. Everyone there is service-oriented and friendly. My father has enjoyed it and has found a soothing routine in life now. We are thankful for Brookdale!

I would tell my friend that this place has friendly caring staff. The facility is always clean. And they have an excellent program for memory care.I picked this place because of the memory care program and that the facility only holds around 30 residents. It was smaller than a lot of places I looked at. I didn't feel like my mom would just be another number.

This staff is exceptional! Some of them -- not sure how many -- serve all 3 facilities on the campus. All are very patient and courteous. If a staff member is unable to take care of a total situation, he or she will contact apropos reinforcement. Housekeeping is great. I do my own, but they still change/wash/return linens and bedding on a weekly basis -- more often, if needed. Handymen (staff) are available to install or repair a variety of things. Lawn and landscaping are maintained. Security is excellent. Brookdale has a homey atmosphere that includes: 1. A lovely big community living room with fireplace, piano, puzzles, card tables, library. 2. Several meeting rooms of various sizes with chairs, tables, a net for chair volleyball that can be converted to serve a variety of special needs. 3. An exercise room. 4. Covered parking for members, plus ample parking for visitors, etc. 5. A big variety of year-round and holiday-related necessities. I've not listed all of the features, but I will close by saying that Brookdale is geared to satisfy most needs common to seniors ranging from folks who are outgoing to those who would rather have their meals delivered to their apartment.

I would highly recommend this facility! The food quality and imaginative variety is great! The chefs regularly meet with interested residents for feedback. Very Impressive Activities Director, [name removed]. She has all kinds of different groups come in and perform as well as regular field trips.

After a long search for a home for my sister we decided that Brookdale Irvine was the best fit for her. The staff at Brookdale were very helpful and friendly. She is having a great time with all the activities and finding lots of friends.

I love the care and ease of my mother's life there.

My loved one's move-in process was absolutely seamless. They made sure that we dropped him off which sounds terrible, however, during breakfast, lunch or dinner. We arranged it so that we would have him there about 30 minutes before dinner. They were also at the door to greet us when we came in. We toured the facility and his room. He was realizing what was happening, but did not seem to surprised. [Name removed] and a couple of nurses, [names removed] came and asked my loved one if he was hungry and that they were having a delicious dinner. Once they led him to dinner we let him know that we were leaving and would be back tomorrow. They took such good care of him. The facility was absolutely clean. The staff was always so accommodating to us when we came to visit, which was pretty much every day. I would try to have breakfast with my loved one quite often. And the staff, especially [names removed] always made sure I was well cared for! [Name removed] even knew that I always just had coffee with cream. Seriously, how sweet is that?!

From my initial visit when seeking a new home for Mom I felt a warm community spirit at Brookdale Westampton. The “downtown” facade was a welcoming vision of warmth. The entire staff was very friendly and took a superior interest in all of the community members. I was extremely impressed and Brookdale was immediately at the front of my list of prospects. I have not been disappointed in my choice for Mom’s new home.

Last August, I utilized a Brookdale tool to help me prioritize my needs for the ideal residential memory care for my 72 year old husband. I chose Brookdale Ann Arbor because I could tell the staff enjoyed working with individuals with memory loss. I was impressed to learn how many staff had worked at this facility for over a decade; some close to 2 decades. When there was a winter power outage covering a large area, I was pleased with updates from [name removed], our executive director, regarding the need for additional generators and be assured of the safety and comfort of our loved one. As a nurse of 40 years, I appreciate how each individual resident is loved physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. Having a community with other families and staff has made this potentially difficult journey a joy! I especially love the music and social programs which include the entire family.

The nurses are amazing. Some of the staff are really exceptional. I've received calls anytime there was a concern, and I could always get ahold of someone if I needed to. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Norman to others, it was a great choice for us. Oh, and the cook, [name removed], was amazing!

There's a daily list of activities that are designed to include all residents and individual needs are incorporated into all levels of interaction. All receive respectful care.

Brookdale Collin Oaks is a great place. I visited about 6 facilities and Brookdale Collin Oaks was by far my favorite. I had a really good feeling the 2 times that I visited. But more importantly, its a great place for my mom. She loves living there. (She tells me this everytime I visit.) She loves the staff and the fact that they are all so friendly and accommodating. She loves that people check on her throughout the day. She loves the activities and the food. What more can I say. She's happy, and I'm happy because she's happy.
