Brookdale

The Staff at Denton North was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The community is in the shape of a square so it is small and easy to maneuver around. It seemed like it was a family atmosphere and true friendships were being formed with the residents.

This community is in a very quiet neighbor hood it is a small community. When i visited the residents seemed very happy and there were lots of activities. The staff seemed very attentive and most of them said they have worked there for a long time.

This community is well taken care of, staff is very friendly and the residents are happy and social. I have looked at many communities and turn over is a big problem but at Brookdale South the staff all have been there for a long time.

My mom moved to Brookdale Alderwood about 8 months ago. They have been so wonderful and supportive. It was a tough transition for us and they were always there with kind words of encouragement. My mom is not an easy person to care for. She is fiercely independent and wants to do things for herself even though she knows she can't. Brookdale offers her so many opportunities to help and feel like she has purpose and that has helped make her transition so much better. She loves it here now and all of the staff.

Toured the facility, the visit was not rushed, all questions answered. Everyone professional, friendly, knowledgeable. Move in was easy, smooth, uneventful. My relative fel welcomed and staff was easy to talk to. Food is good. Facility is clean and well kept.

These ratings apply to the experience of my 102 year-old-mother. This facility is perfect for her and she is content and well cared for. The wonderful staff, the small size of the facility, and the excellent way it is maintained are the things I like most.

The staff was always friendly no matter which shift and my mom had no complaints about anyone (which she definitely did at a previous facility). I really have no complaints about service or the facility...my mom liked Brookdale and they were very tolerant of her.

I have been very pleased with the services of Brookdale and the care for my sister. The folks at Brookdale keep me apprised of any changes that my sister is experiencing.

I was very impressed with the layout and cleanliness of Brookdale North West Greensboro. The staff is extremely courteous and attentive to my mom’s needs. They were very thorough in explaining the admissions process as well as all costs involved. My mom loves the location, the food and all the amenities offered. A difficult decision was made all the easier by the kindness and concern demonstrated by the staff. I feel so much better knowing that my mom is enjoying her time at Brookdale and is receiving the attention and care that she deserves.

The move-in process for Mom was a little rough, but Brookdale staff were kind and helpful. Mom is in their Memory Care wing, they are amazing! I would definitely recommend the facility to others. As a matter of fact, we did recommend to a friend and they ended up moving their mom into Brookdale as well. They too, are very happy.

I would say it's a very friendly and safe community. We are surprised how well our mom is doing there. It's so much better than watching her struggle at home.

My stepmom has been living at Brookdale Kingsport for about a year and a half, and I couldn't be more pleased with her accommodations and the care she is receiving. The residence is kept very clean and the staff is exceptionally caring and professional. I overheard a staff member speaking to a resident who had been away for a while, and there was such love and compassion. This staff member was unaware I could hear her. The resident was so pleased to know she had been missed and she and the staff member agreed that the Brookdale environment is a family one. There are always many staff members available to provide care and medical attention. A nurse is on site 24/7. All holidays are celebrated with special meals and decorations and the dining room always looks inviting. My stepmother enjoys her meals. When she first moved there she was extremely underweight, but she has now achieved a healthy weight. Brookdale Kingsport has my highest recommendation!

I would recommend the community, it has been a good experience.

Facility is beautiful upon entering. Carpets and communal restrooms need cleaning. Staff are friendly and helpful. They need more fresh, healthy food. Often dry and overcooked. At least, that's what I hear from Mom.

The facility is great and my sister [name removed] loves it there. Beautiful facility kept up very well. The staff are wonderful people all family members are very happy. We are very pleased with Brookdale.

Staff is awesome and very informative always. When I visit, they know me by name. Mom is very satisfied with Brookdale.

All of them would be 5 even though my FIL never took advantage of the activities. I know they had good offerings. I never imagined that my FIL could be in a place like this given his needs. I thought if he wasn't mobile, he would have to be in a nursing home type facility. Even though, as it turns out, he didn't leave his bed, at least we the family were able to visit him in a private home like atmosphere. He passed with dignity.

My mother has been a resident at Brookdale Burlington for close to three years now. She participates in many of the helpful activities that are offered at this facility, and she enjoys the transportation service. The facility is clean, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the food is better than average. The room and room services are excellent.

Liked the the tour and the person doing the tour. Facility very nice, residents seemed friendly and well cared for. This would have been a top choice if I had not seen others with a few better amenities. Essentially, although the place is small, this could be a good or bad thing. The room sizes were main issue as all are like a studio apartment or hotel room. The apartment style rooms ( separate bedroom and living area) seemed better suited in what we were looking for. If not for that, would definitely be a top choice.

Friendliness is wonderful but it is a little difficult for us as my husband is deaf, has dementia and is under Hospice due to cancer, but the care and concern is so appreciated. My son picked this place over all the other ones he looked at. We were in Florida but he was impressed with every thing he saw and decided this was where we should be. Plus it was near him and my granddaughter and her family. He made a very good choice.
