I absolutely love Brookdale! The staff is fabulous. The facility is outstanding. The offerings are endless for the residents. Highly recommend it to anyone considering a place for their parent. Can’t say enough positive about Brookdale Glen Ellyn

They loved my dad and took such great care of him, I could not have asked for better treatment of my dad.

Overall, my mom liked this place. I am not sure if it would suit her at this point. They are currently doing upgrades to the facility.

[name removed] greeted us immediately. He was cordial and professional. Spoke with us at length about our concerns and prospective clients needs. Explained levels of care snd criteria of each along with pricing and services. We were happy to see the variety on the menu. Many activities that we hope our family member would be interested in. Spoke about history of the facility and others we know who had been residents. Very much liked the wide and well lit corridors, spacious grounds and room layouts.

I was impressed with the discussion I had with [name removed]. She emphasized the importance of knowing my parent the best they can. They want his stay to be as interactive and engaging as possible, encouraging memories to keep him active and involved. It's evident they don't want him to "exist" but to "thrive" while under their care. That was super exciting!

It was a good experience/ my mom passed away when she was there and they were compassionate and helpful. No complaints. I would recommend to others

It was nice and very friendly and clean. A little pricey and had added fees. We will see where we move and I haven’t counted it out.

The team at Brookdale have been amazing to work with! The staff have been extremely friendly. My mom already has 2 or 3 favorites! Lots of activities: Bingo, trip to Walmart, trip to a wax museum in Cleburne. She is doing PT and gets her hair and nails done weekly! The facility is clean and there are several room options. It is a little 'pricy' but they have been easy to work with to remove monthly fees once my mom is able to do more things on her own. I am very happy with the choice I made to move her here and would highly recommend it to others~

I was very skeptical about going to see my Grandma but I was amazed by Brookdale Hartwell! She is so happy and has friends there. Before she was at home by herself all the time. She had a couple of falls which scared our family. We all wish that she had moved to Brookdale sooner.

The tour was outstanding, she was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The facility was very clean and organized.

From the moment I stepped into Brookdale, I felt welcome and knew that my mom would also feel very welcomed and it would like home. Every staff member we came across was super friendly.

The location was definitely significant for us. It's in a neighborhood that we're familiar and comfortable with. It also has a very cozy feeling to it- like less of a facility or even a hotel. It's homier. The biggest disappointment has been the food. It's seemed lesser quality than the meals we were served during the sales process.

My father was a resident for about 3-yrs, and we loved it so much that we moved my mother-in-law as soon as we could. The family feeling between residents, associates, family members and management was profound and almost palpable - You could feel the loving family atmosphere when you walk in the door! And... their all day dining options are a huge plus!

I moved here with no physical or mental disabitities to speak of. We moved here because of my wife's disabilities due to MS. I found out that Brookdale is mentally healthy for me. The staff very caring & willing to help with any issue, if they can. I'm partentarly impressed w/ the caregiver and kitchen serving staff. I like living here enough that I sold my car, even though I can still drive.

My father, [name removed], has been a resident at Brookdale Oak Hollow for more than two years, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this community. Choosing a memory care facility for a loved one is one of the hardest decisions a family can make, and we feel so blessed to have found such an exceptional place. The staff are genuinely caring and attentive — they know my father by name, they know his personality, and they treat him with dignity and warmth every single day. It's clear they don't just see this as a job; they truly care about the residents in their charge. The community itself is always clean, well-maintained, and comfortable — it feels like a home, not a facility. My father is engaged in activities and programs that keep him stimulated and connected, which has made a meaningful difference in his quality of life. As a family member, I deeply appreciate.

Great value compared to others and very flexible regarding a health issue with my family member. He was unable to actually reside in the community as his health took a significant downturn. They refunded 100% of the fees and rent and allowed three weeks to remove his furniture and vacate his apartment.

This is the most functional Adult Home I have experienced due to a highly functional administrative staff and personal care team. From top to bottom there is superior attention to details and the outcome is EVERYONE is happy due to this integration of management with residents. I've helped friends and family for over 2 decades. I would live there if a time came for the easy life. Oh, there is a highly respected chef from the areas top restaurant preparing meals. My mom moves in soon and I can finally find peace. I am a retired veterinarian with high standards and this place is a benchmark! 10 stars!!!

Staff is engaged and caring. Only raises warranted and valid concerns. They go the extra mile if patient runs out of meds. Which doesn't happen very often.

Staff cares about residents a great deal. Parents feel very well cared for.

I'm sorry, my mom was only there for a month and she passed away[Date Removed]. The staff there was great, she just wasn't physically and mentally able to participate in her care
