Watermark Retirement Communities

We know this is not an easy job, so we do believe they are doing the best that they can. They do take great care of our loved one, however sometimes the communication is a little off. There are times we have to ask to follow up with things multiple times, but we do think they are still doing an excellent job. Our loved one has said the meals are improving, we do know its hard to incorporate everyone's cultural meal backgrounds and the style of cooking they are used to, so we do wish they would incorporate more Jewish meals, but overall the meals are good.

We chose Summit Senior Living because of the convenience and we looked at the ratings online and we were pleased with that. It was an emergency situation and we had to move fast so we really appreciated the help from the staff. She says the food is good for most part. The best part about this community so far would be that it is a new facility and the staff members have been very nice. Overall, I would recommend it.

You won't do any better than this community, They really care, and they are trying really hard during covid. Their residences have been covid free and have a great plan in place to keep the residents safe. The staff is extraordinarily dedicated to being and doing everything they can to make the best of a very difficult situation. I would recommend this community.

I would say the community is good. The only ding, I have is the community can be a little less communicative and hard to get a hold of. The food is good. Prior to COVID they had activities every day. As long as the residents want to participate. When I was there, all the residents were participating.

In terms of the overall physical look to this community is was not a stand out compared to the other places we looked at, however the people were absolutely excellent. The staff members were very good and informative with helping us understand what our loved one was capable of and not capable of. Our loved one was very difficult, she would lash out at people and would not do things that she was supposed to do on every level. We were not able to take care of her ourselves and every person we talked was very compassionate about caring for her, and they had an enormous amount of patience with her.

We chose this community because it was close to home and it seemed like a good fit at the time. The room sizes were on the smaller side compared to others that we looked at. The only problem we had was that my sister is young for a dementia patient and they were not equip to deal with her. They wanted us to come pick her up after 9 days. I would not recommend this community for memory care residents.

I chose this community mainly because the room sizes were good, the price was in the medium range, and the staff ratios were good. They have had a lot staff turnover. The food is good and they are trying to accommodate dietary restrictions. I would recommend this community to other families.

We had a good experience there. The were some staff that were wonderful and went above and beyond and some staff that weren't. It is a beautiful place, very nice, and pretty well kept up. They did struggle for staff sometimes. We chose this community because my mother liked the apartment that was available for them.

They have staff that come in regularly and asks if there is anything my dad wants to have cleaned in his apartment and the common spaces at the community always look clean. The staff is always very friendly when we visit and will say hello to you in the hallways; generally a very pleasant place. The only thing that is sometimes an issue is that it can take a bit for the staff to respond to my father's call button. There do seem to be a good variety of activities available for the residents and my dad has made some nice friends with some of the other residents. We do think the community is a good value.

The food was the best part of Rose Tree Place. The staff had some really good workers and others weren't quite as good at figuring out how to deal with unique situations. Some of the staff could have been better with adaptability. The place was always very clean and this aspect of the community was perfect.

management does a very good job. Especially under the circumstances now.friendly employees, they do a good job!

Love my one-bedroom apartment! It is clean, freshly painted with new carpeting, and a nice view of cliffs. Don't really know about care services as I am in independent living and not assisted living. By observations, it looks like they are good. Schedule for activities could use improvement.

The people there are warm and caring and kind to all residents that I have experienced. The food is just average. Nothing to write home about. The same 3 ice creams everyday on the menu gets a little old. The other dessert choice changes a lot though. The staff are attentive but some things slip through the cracks. I have to be there to make sure everything gets done. Nursing doesn't always get back to me in a timely fashion with answers to my questions. I have to keep on them a bit. Location is great and building is very nice.

I toured this facility today for my Mom. It was really nice and clean. I think Mom will really like all the smiling faces and activities. Their residents look well cared for and happy. They even gave me lunch. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Not at all what I expected from facility type food. I met with the nurse and she helped me understand what all my Mom will need as far as care and I feel very comfortable moving forward with this facility. [Name removed]

Very nice place. Met the nurse, [name removed], and she explained things. [Name removed] very helpful and knowledgeable on the tour. The apt available was roomy except for the bedroom closet but there is a second closet.

A beautiful new facility ...exceptionally clean, and a friendly staff... too large, too institutional looking tho. Extraordinary staff.

Weekly staff is exceptional. Mom is now on hospice and getting terrific care. A few of her belongings have gone missing. These concerns had been addressed. But her dentures went missing, the bottom early on and the top about 6 weeks ago. Pathways is always clean. Mom's room is always tidy and clean. And mom is always clean. Hospice care [name removed] and [name removed] are a God send.

Liked this very much, decided to go with rock land place, same company owns both. Was our first choice until we went to rockland
