Spectrum Retirement

My husband and I used to use home healthcare for our needs, but after using it for a while and finding that it wasn’t really helping us, we have since moved him into the memory care unit at Lombard Place. We are so much more satisfied with the level of his care here. The staff is very attentive, and really does work to understand his needs. At the same time, he seems to respond very well to them. There are many activities in the community for the residents like Bingo, movie nights, concerts, Friday Happy Hours, and music. Lombard also provides nutritious meals, and they take care of the laundry. Over all, we are so much happier with the level of my husband’s care at Lombard Place.

The people I met at this community were friendly and knowledgeable. This community looked clean and they do allow pets.

I went to see and tour the community for my friends. In my experience they were all courteous and polite. There were incentives for moving in but the choice was up to my friends and they felt this was not the best fit.

The tour was fine when I went to see them. However they were not the type of community we wanted. We wanted a place that was newer with bigger apartments.

This community was a great choice for us. The location is perfect for me very convenient. My dad is not one to socialize with groups of people he tends to stay more by himself which is fine. The staff is wonderful here they respect my dad not wanting to be around people much and they are very attentive to his needs. He is loving the food it's great. The community is always clean and well maintained they do a great job of making it look good. I would recommend them.

My mom really wanted to stay in the area that she was familiar with so that is one of the reasons why we chose this community. From the appearance, it looked wonderful very clean and well maintained. When meeting with the staff and the administration they seemed very friendly and compassionate however now that time has passed we are experiencing something totally different. My mom is needing more care than internally though which is resulting in a higher price tag. We are going to have to hire an independent person to come in to get the services that we are not getting by this place and hopefully that will help improve my mom's attitude because right now she hates being here. The staff doesn't seem to be willing to work with us to get issues corrected they say they will look into it but things never change. The staff as far as I am concerned is not empathic to my mother they will start helping her then disappear and come back a while later and leave my mother alone to fend for herself.

We loved them and were going to move my loved one but the parking situation was going to inconvenient for non-residents. We liked that it was new and decorated so beautifully. They were so new I had a feeling my loved one was hesitating and not comfortable.

Hilliard Assisted Living & Memory Care was one of our top choices of communities. They gave a very nice presentation of the care they would provide for our loved one. The community was beautiful and well-kept. It was very clean and well-maintained. It was bright and upbeat and had a good feel to it. We ended up choosing another facility that was close to our family members and had transportation to outside activities our loved one belonged to.

The community was pretty nice and the guy who did the tour was nice and helpful. I saw him interact well with the residents by first name basis.

We toured quite a few communities and we liked this one very much. The community is lovely inside and out. They have a swimming pool and a nice patio with tables and chairs and umbrellas to shade you from the sun. Inside is very nicely decorated very bright and cheerful. The staff was nice and very helpful on the tour.

I have no complaints about how things had went for our tour of this community for my mother. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I liked the open floor plan as well as the other amenities they had for the residents throughout the building. It was a clean property but it was just not the right fit for her

Lombard Place Assisted Living & Memory Care was a great community that we toured. It was clean and well-kept. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I really liked the place but it wasn't the best fit for my aunt because they didn't have a stove available in their apartments.

I have no complaints of how things are going for my mother since she has recently made the move into this community . The staff have been easy to work with and I am comfortable with the care she has been provided. I like the dinning experience she has with the other residents as well as other activities she is involved in throughout the week. Overall it has been a pleasant time and I would recommend it to anyone.

Dougherty Ferry Assisted Living and Memory Care has a great atmosphere! Very lively! It was a very nice and clean community that we toured. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We chose another community because we needed a larger living space for my dad, but I really wanted him to live here. I definitely would recommend this community based on what we saw.

I was very pleased with the care that they gave my grandmother during her respite stay. She is a late sleeper so they adjusted the times when they came to clean her room for her and she perferred to eat in her room so they would come and take her order and deliver her meals to her. Even though my grandmother did not join in the activities the staff did offer to take her. My mother and I did eat in the dining area with her once and the atmospher was wonderful. The staff is so friendly and they know the residents by their first names. I would definity recommend them, in fact, we have plans to use them again for another Respite stay.

We had a very nice tour of this community. Everything went well, and everyone was friendly. The community looked good, and the staff was informative.

We really liked touring this community. I enjoyed talking to the residents and hearing how much they enjoyed living there. and how wonderful the food was. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building itself was nice however what I did notice in the rooms we went into they had in wall air conditioning and for the most part they had 1 unit for a 2 bedroom unit which seemed a little odd. From what I saw in the paperwork they offered more activities than most other places I visited.

There were many things that this community offered that interested me such as the transitional care but then as I did more research I found my mom wouldn't have been a good fit for that. The staff was helpful and friendly on the tour.The location was not ideal for me it would has made it extremely hard for me to visit them. They seem to offer a lot of services but not a lot of my parents would have taken advantage of.

My husband was recently at this community for a short respite stay and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff where friendly and I was comfortable with the care he was provided. He had no complaints about the meals and enjoyed participating in a few of the activities they had available. I would defiantly bring my husband back to this place if he had to another short stay.

Impressive building and fixtures. Open dining is an advantage, but service is slow. I wish the architect had included central air instead of the window style units. Parking is tight for residents. All in all, we are satisfied with our choice here.
