Prestige Care

Debbie was the first person I spoke to, and she was so easy to speak with. I really thought this was going to be it, I really loved it. But in the end I chose a place that was able to offer Alzheimer's care. I wish I had another parent to put here, because it was great!!

I wish I could give them a six! It’s smaller community. There’s only sixty-eight people. They seem to really like her. The only complaint I have, if it’s a complaint, the food is never just right. When I’ve eaten there the food was okay, but I can chew. There’s no problem finding parking. The laundry service has been improving. They’re working on training new people. The community is right near the hospital. It’s just good for piece of mind. They have parties and they do exercise! They’re going to have a picnic!

We are pretty happy with them. There were some misunderstandings in the beginning, some communication mistakes, partly on our end. The food is good here. They have been going out of their way to help make things smoother.

We really liked the openness, airiness, and the friendliness of the staff. My 3 for this community is that my dad is used to 24/7 care. We’re not sure if it’s a good fit for my dad. On St. Patrick’s Day they had a gathering and I visited unexpectedly. I was pleasantly surprised to see my dad involved with other residents and an entertainer who had come in. The have afternoon gatherings. Whenever we consider a community for our families, we always have to check out a community. The two communities that are with my dad take great care of him.

I have lived here for 5 years and have been very happy. Last month a new management group took over and I am impressed with some of the things they have added. We have more housekeepers, servers, and caregivers and I see positive changes as things happen quicker. Everyone is friendly and I feel all the staff cares about the residents. I enjoy the food and the choices we have. I like being able to order quicker with the extra servers. We have a good activity person although I wish we could get some more card players involved.

My parents just leased a 2 bed apartment. From the moment I went to tour Rosemont before showing my parents, I was impressed. The grounds are lovely. The building is welcoming and comfortable. The staff is what really shines! Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My parents will be moving in shortly and are so excited! As a daughter I know that they will be well taken care of and loved. Every resident I met is so happy and proud of their home. My family is looking forward to being a part of the Rosemont family.

I was very impressed with the facility. Clean, inviting, nice sized units, extensive menu for every meal and bistro service for between-meal times. Very reasonable rates for respite care. I am definitely considering this facility for my husband's short-term stay.

I think the value is probably high. She has a studio but because she has no income, they put through some paperwork and the corporation decreased her monthly cost. They decreased it about $250 which was helpful. We didn't go there thinking that was they reason we chose them but really, it's going to make a difference in how long she gets to stay there. They provide housekeeping once a week and take out the trash. Included in that fee is one meals a day and you get to chose which meal it is. The funny thing is you can ask for seconds at the meal and she wraps them up and takes them home. Her studio has a full kitchen and a very big bathroom and a really big window. It's working out well for her.

They do really well. The only thing was that one morning my mom didn't get breakfast but that was when they were on quarantine. When they realized it they got her something right away. They have loads of activities and my mom is really happy there. The have bingo, cards, a cooking class, and church services. They take the residents out shopping and my mom gets her hair done. They do a whole lot - I'm barely scratching the surface. The food is good. They have a chef and you get to pick from a menu for your meals. My mom fell once and now they're at her door to escort her to all meals and she has a thing on her wrist that she can push and they'll be right there.

It's very clean and friendly. The atmosphere is like walking into a fine hotel; it's beautiful. They are so very patient with my mom. She has short term memory loss and they took the time to get to know her and not to offend her. When they realized there was something lacking they stepped right up. At first, they would ask her if she would like to shower and she would say no thank you because she doesn't like to bother people. As soon as we said she hasn't had a shower since the hospital, they stepped right up. They took the time to listen to us and understand my mom's personality. They are so respectful. They even made sure to seat her near others in the dining hall who she would be able to have conversations with. They treat you like you're family. My mom is being cared for and loved. I feel like we've found a place that we can trust.

This came in a very close second to our final choice. Loved the room size, the friendly staff, the tenure of the staff and the size of the community itself. What swayed us to our final choice was the courtyard and all activities on the ground level.

Definitely more like it for us. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Very nice facility. We like that there is an option for an early on dementia client to enjoy the benefits of assisted living and...when necessary .. the transition into the memory care unit. I also like the close knit community feel. Pretty close to 'sold' on this location.

took tour including the "model room" and the "large" room. We were impressed with the staff and size and the levels of care. Small enough that she knows all the residents and quirks, good ratio of men to woman, 8 couples live there. Do a lot of activities had a group gone to the casino today. Food was good, dining room nice, clean. Place had no smells at all.

Great place. Memory care the best we've seen or would want. Small group in this unit so more one on one. Activity director is wonderful. Great seems to understand all fazes of care from experience. Place is very clean, the rooms are in par with the Arbors, the grounds are well kept, nice outside walking area. Food was great!! Real menus, good portions and very tasty. The Chef took the time to come out and talk with all the residents at lunch and take suggestions and see how they were enjoying their meal. Had cookies baking in a small activity room; very homey. Interior design is beautiful. Well thought out and adds a touch of class. Liked the seating areas in each cubicle of rooms at end of hallways. They offer enough activities to keep everyone busy. Lovely place. The top of his list. They evaluate the residents frequently and also as long as he can watch her they can stay with help if needed instead of moving her prematurly away from him. I would feel very good with her being here.

The residents and staff are all very friendly. She felt at home right away and the staff is excellent and very caring. She had one medical crisis and they handled it well. They were not fully transparent about the end date of the move in special and it is now more expensive than planned.

Prestige Orchard Heights is a smaller facility so the staff is smaller and they all know the residents individually. They are able to build that relationship with them and that is golden when you are leaving your parents at a facility. We know that she is well taken care of and with people who really care.

For us, being new to senior living, it has been a learning curve. There were a lot of questions we didn't really know to ask and services we didn't know were potentially available. I would tell others to do your research and make sure you're finding out information ahead of time so it 's not such a shock after everything is said and done. But we've had a good experience at Prestige. It's clean. Everybody is very nice, and they are taking good are of my parents. My parents seem to love the food. They're just recently starting activities back up after Covid. They have several each day, and then on Mondays they go on road excursions. We were a little shell shocked by the cost, but I think that would be the case anywhere. We have no complaints regarding the care or the facility. If people financially can afford it, I would recommend Prestige.

I will be forever grateful for the careful and professional response Prestige took to manage the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Every person on the team at Beaverton Hills has been so careful and vigilant, so clearly aware of their grave responsibility in keeping the vulnerable residents safe, all the while managing their own safety out in the community at large. I know this has been stressful and difficult and I truly appreciate it. You are all very special people. Thank you for everything.

Staff members know residents by name almost immediately. They are always there to help our mother find her way, and suggesting she join activities.
