Merrill Gardens

I have spent many hours volunteering at this community and loved every minute of it! The residents are sweet, they love crafts and exercise, and the employees all seem to love the work they do. I always have a good time when I come here.

The entire staff including housekeeping, dining room, executive director, sales manager, concierge, nursing, events and maintenance really care about every resident and it shows. They put their hearts into the job on a daily basis. They know residents by name and family members. They go above and beyond and really take the time to address your concerns. My mom was well cared for during her stay there and I never worried that things were going unnoticed. The community is spotless. Programs are quality. The food is delicious. Bear Creek receives my highest recommendation.

Met the staff and toured the facility. Like the concept very much and it doesn't hurt that even the developer has some personal knowledge of the people that will be utilizing the facilities services. Appears that they have a good system underway and it could be an attractive alternative for my Mom. Difficult to totally assess the facility because as of this date,(10/09/2017) they are still under construction... but what I saw looked very promising.

The staff at Legacy goes above and beyond. The facility is like family. My mom is here because of Dementia. She is safe and cared for better than I cold have ever imagined. They employ a wonderful staff that is caring and compassionate.

Kindness is everythig at bear creek. From the first caregiver to the last and everyone inbetween kindness is formost. You get many hugs and are told how beautiful you are. as you get older you want to be surrounded by good people, people that are good for you good to you and good for your soul. That is Legacy at Bear creek

We are very pleased with the size of the facility and ease of navigation. The residents have been very friendly and inclusive. The staff has been most helpful and caring. We feel very fortunate to have found Legacy at Bear Creek.

I toured the facility for my mom and it was beautiful. [Removed] was welcoming and very knowledgeable. I observed that the tenants seemed to also really like him as well as he showed me around the facility. It is very clean and feels cozy like home. I cannot remark on the last two areas, but given what I saw and how I felt, I'm confident they are all 5s as well.

From the moment we visited legacy at Bear Creek in Keller, We felt like family, and knew they would give the best care to our mother. The staff is wonderful, the dining room is very clean and wonderful food with great food selections. The cleanliness of the facility, and each room was superb. Highly recommend this assisted living place for your parents. The residents all we're happy, friendly and welcoming.

We’ve been a part of this community for over 4 years and love the feeling of being surrounded by family. The residents are happy & thriving and the staff make it their goal to provide excellent care every day. Great meals, events and activities make it extra special. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for service-centered senior living.

This is a great community and when we walked in we knew that my mom would receive great care. The staff is always caring and attentive to my mom's needs. The community is clean and a wonderful environment for her to live in. The menu is outstanding with the healthy choices that are available. They offer great activities for her to participate. We would highly recommend this community to other families.

This community is working out well for my father, and his needs. I know he is safe, and in good hands. I would give the staff the highest ratings. They are kind when I visit, and have been very helpful whenever needed. They do a good with cleanliness around the community. The meals are so-so, but there a good activities available. This is a community I would recommend to my family, and friends.

We like this community for care. The staff are nice and helpful and always attentive. The menu needs to have better varieties on the dairy. They do offer the residents to participate in the activities. The community comes highly recommended to others

Our Mom LOVES Merrill Gardens. It is wonderful that she can have her dog Benji with her. She loves sitting on her back patio full of plants and flowers. Her independence is very important to her. My sister and I feel that we made the best decision EVER, moving Mom to Merrill Gardens where she is thriving, feels very safe and is happy :)

This was a clean and friendly environment with almost everything on one floor. Mom does not like elevators!!!!

I set my mother up at the courtyards in the assisted living area. I am very pleased with all aspects of this facility. My mother also has told me how nice and helpful everybody is. This includes the staff and the residents. The food is very good quality and variety. The place is kept very clean. There seems to be a large selection of daily activities for residents to get involved with. It was very hard for me to let go and put my mother into an assisted living community. Because of all the positive things I have seen, I have been able to relax and have full confidence in Courtyards at Berne village, New Bern . Thank you goes out to all the staff.

I like the community very much and it is very nice too. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here. I like the way it is set up and it is spacious all around. I liked the feeling when I toured and I knew a few people here. I would recommend the community.
