It's a very friendly group. Everybody is very welcoming and inclusive, especially to newcomers. They're very outgoing and willing to introduce themselves and make you feel very welcome. The staff were fabulous when we were moving in. They are constantly cleaning. During the freeze, they had a ruptured pipe, and they were immediately all over it and had the hallways drying. Their response was pretty impressive. There's never anything in the hallways, no trash lying around, no smells. It is extremely neat and clean. They have the best activities programs for the residents, with lots of variety. They have two happy hours a week where they provide beverages and snacks. They have different kinds of exercise every day, and a movie theater where they show movies a couple of times a week. I love that they have an itinerary that they post every Sunday for the upcoming week listing all the activities that will be going on and at what time.

It is a nice building. The staff iaregreat. The residents are fun, and everyone is very nice to each other. The breakfasts are more of a continental breakfast, such as yogurt and bagels. Some of the activities are Taco Tuesday, Bristo Thursday, Zumba, Movie Night, Pizza Night, BBQs, and more for the residents to choose from

I would tell others that it is a great safe place. There is a lot of things to do. The other residents and staff watch out for you. My loved one doesn't think a lot of the food. The breakfast is more of a continental style and not that great. They have a hot meal a couple times a week.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This community has more vibrant people living here. The rooms here are larger than some other communities. We have a full kitchen in your apartment, and you have the option to eat in the dining room as well. They furnish three breakfasts a week. We have greet and meets, and sometimes they furnish an evening meal. On the weekend you're on your own. Sometimes they even have catered parties. There is always entertainment on Thursday nights.

Everyone is very nice and helpful. The facility has a lot of activities for people to do on a daily basis. They have a swim/pool party, lots of barbecues, concerts on the weekends with live bands or singers. And my dad really enjoys that. They'll take the residents the to the park or to go fishing, and some days they'll go to Walmart or Kroger's. They had a big gathering for Memorial Day. They have regular game nights, with checkers, chess, charades, Trivial Pursuit, Jeopardy. They really have a lot going on. It's pretty clean. It seems like a whole big family environment, the employees and the residents. The food is pretty good. My only criticism would be the seasoning. I know they can't put too much salt/pepper for older people, and I understand why they do that, because some people can't eat certain things. It's actually great quality for the cost.

The staff is amazing and every single person was like family. They were very helpful and compasionate. My loved one really loved this community. The community has transportation available and I would definitely recommend this community to others.

The community was proactive before the February freeze and they check on everyone and made sure they everything we needed. the community is new and it is very clean and neat. The residence is very nice and we all get along very well. The staff are very nice and do a great job. They have lots of activities going on and lots of amenities. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

It is a great place for your loved one. They go above and beyond on your expectations. The staff are very nice and friendly. This is a nice community. The food is good-during the pandemic the food was delivered to the residents. They have happy hour, breakfast Monday through Friday. It is a great value. The residents are friendly. They have a community garden.

I have absolutely no problem living here, the sales people here are great, the management staff are great. Things are starting to open back up since everyone is getting the vaccines. It is an active and open senior community, the gym is absolutely world class, we have every workout equipment possible. I have a 70 square foot 1 bedroom apartment that has more storage then my old apartment complex. It is an open floor plan with marble granite tops, everything is up to date and modern, We have 10 ft ceilings here, the pantry is huge, the kitchen cabinets are huge, the walk in closet is massive, and even the bathroom has more storage. The door knob are 8 inches lower then usually so if you are in a wheel chair you can reach it comfortable, the food are wide enough to fit a motorized vehicle in it. You can scoot around in a wheel chair perfectly around the kitchen table with no issues.

I'd certainly recommend that people look here if they're interested. I think the activities they offered before the pandemic have been great. And I've enjoyed the residents I've met here. It is extremely clean here. I've had no issue in that area. They have a really nice walking path, which is good because I enjoy walking outside. They just need to get the lobster food truck back in! They haven't had that here in a while. We've moved in part time, and I'm looking forward to being there fully soon. And I'm looking forward to starting to play bridge there again.

I chose Destinations Pebble because of the cost, they took me with just having social security income. I am in a 1 bedroom and it is fine for what I need. Sometimes the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned as I would like but overall it is a good facility and I would recommend to others looking.

Incredibly impressed by the Overture! If you have a loved one who is not needing "hands on care" but simply a wonderful community of similar age adults who they can get to know, socialize with and then still have their own independance in a safe and very luxurious environment, this is the place for them! Certainly a number one choice for my loved one until they would need more assisted care!

We chose Larkspur at Twin Creeks because it was a newer, cleaner, and nicer all the way around than some others we saw. The apartment sizes are great and laid out very nicely. They do have a park across the street with a walkway, some benches, and ponds and it is nice scenery. I would recommend to others looking.

This community did not offer meals so it did not fit our needs. The staff was very friendly and returned our calls promptly.

The community is very clean, and the staff members are also great. When I first got here they were pretty strict with the covid restrictions so the activities were very minimal. Now they are starting to bring them back, we can play more games while still be cautious and wearing our masks at the tables. It is not the cheapest but for what I get it is worth it, it is like a 5-star hotel. it is so secured and I feel safe being here.

It is a great community and you should live here. It is a new, the people are nice. The location is great, tons of activities to choose from, the apartment is great! The communication is pretty good. My loved one enjoys living here. They send emails to the families to keep us updated.

They were wonderful! They were my first choice, but my loved one chose a different place. It's a beautiful, new facility. Everything was super clean. They have a movie theater there. And they offer additional care services if needed. This place is terrific!

This is probably the nicest and safest community you'll find in the Allen area. It's crazy how expensive these things can be, and Larkspur is such a great value. The finishes are nice, there's all wood floors, no move-in fee. The staff is so nice. They make sure that you have everything you need. They're calling us to make sure everything is okay. If they see the residents need help bringing in groceries, they'll get up and help. They're office staff, they definitely don't have to do that, but they do. They help residents get an Uber. They call if our loved one walks out looking more confused than usual - they call and say "He didn't' tell us where he was going, just wanted you to know what was going on." They do a great job of keeping us informed. And it's awesome. They have so many activities, cooking classes, yoga, coping skills groups. And the residents get to talk and bond with one another. Larkspur is the best.

We have been residents at the Avidor in Evanston since early November 2020. It’s a wonderful place! The amenities are lovely, the apartments are spacious, open and bright, with floor to ceiling windows throughout. The staff is professional and extremely friendly and helpful. They are invested in helping residents feel included and even during the pandemic have done all that’s possible to bring a sense of community and inclusiveness, with many activities and options that enable people to feel safe, connected and comfortable. We couldn’t imagine a more appealing and welcoming environment.
