We felt very sure and comfortable that mom was being taken care of kindly and properly. We were informed of everything that was happening with mom immediately. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. They recognized all that was happening with mom. When we needed Hospice, it was started within hours. Excellent service and a reasonable price.

The staff is amazing- all well trained and lovely people The food gives mom great options with every meal- they do salad and grilled chicken breast as an option always and it is really good! I like joining her for meals and the staff is always so warm and accommodating. The activities keep mom engaged and she is not usually someone who participates in stuff… Her happiness and comfort has increased exponentially since moving in a few weeks ago and this was a woman who NEVER wanted to live to assisted living in any capacity!

Transitioning a parent from their home they have lived in for many years to assisted living can be difficult. The staff at Brookdale Summer Ridge made ours so smooth. From the day we arrived the staff cared and communicated with Mom and made her feel important and loved. Mom loves the people she lives with and made great friends. When my wife and I show up we always find her happy and ready to introduce us to another person that just moved in. Great friendships, kind and courteous staff, with great food and a very clean environment. What more could you ask for! Thank you Summer Ridge staff.

When I first walked in Brookdale felt calm and friendly -- which it's proved to be! Staff and residents are friendly and willing to help with a smile. It's helped me a lot to ease into the life here -- being accepted and not made to feel uncomfortable for asking questions-- directions, etc. The food is very good. It's nice to have the pond here (my room looks out on it as do.many others'). There are rides for shopping and two tips a week to parks on Lake Eerie. I'm reassured when a resident fall, for example, is taken to hospital then brought back to Assisted Living and shows up at dinner then is back in their home.

They were so kind to allow especially my mom. They communicated amazingly with all the family. We felt safe to have our mom there compared to where she was before hand. The small community help a lot as well. The director the head of nursing and the smallest and limited amount of patients. They knew everyone and all their needs. And they understood mom very well. After mom was in that big community and the care and personal care was not their for her or us. At Brookdale they knew everyone one of the family members and they knew how to communicate

Loved the fact that as soon as we walked into the facility we were greeted by residents and employees. Facility was clean and roomy. Very friendly and we were able to tour the facility. Am excited about moving my aunt in.

It's expensive for sure but my mom is peaceful and engaged and staff are super friendly and attentive. They meet the residents where they are and customize their care to make them feel safe and at home.

We recently placed my elderly parents into the Brookdale Cape Coral and every aspect of the process has been flawless! The staff is caring and they go out of their way to make it a pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable new home for them! The property is well maintained and the food and service is outstanding! It's so comforting knowing that they are in good hands!

The staff was warm and welcoming. They explained everything in detail. Acted in a compassionate manner. Someone is always available and amenable to answer questions and offer assistance. I would highly recommend.

My brother is very happy with the food, activities and good service to cleaning his room, transportation to [name removed] and how happy all the folks are that live there. Definitely- great attentive staff and tons to stimulate residents! Great for them physically and emotionally.

My father has only been at Brookdale University Park for about a month and so far he's enjoying the nightly happy hours and weekly bridge games and excursions. I was worried he would be lonely, but they're keeping him busy.

The staff that are hands on with [name removed], my wife, twenty four seven are excellent. They are very loving and caring towards her. They make her feel comfortable and excepting of where she is. The building was remodeled 2-3 years ago and is very clean and maintained well. Her room is kept clean and tidy. The program staff make an effort to include everyone in the activities. As a family member I am encouraged to be involved. Safety is very important in the community, when doing activities or where the residents are located in the community. Brookdale is called a care community and from what I observe and are involved in it really is. I would recommend Brookdale Eagan with out hesitation.

The staff is amazing. My dad loves his apartment! The dining is first class. They have restaurant style meals and really serve the residents well.

All the staff have been wonderful with my mom from keeping her busy with activities, crafts and cooking. With Mom having dementia, it has been many years since she would participate in any of those. When we visit she always has a smile on her face. They keep us updated quickly of any changes or when she may get a lil depressed at times. They also serve many delicious meals with Mom clearing her plate. They also take the individuals on an outing at least once a week and switching it up to the different places they may go. They go out to restaurants for lunch, ice cream stop for a treat on hot days , and I believe a few small shopping trips. I'm so glad we made the decision and chose this wonderful community for her. I highly recommend for any family looking for placement but not ready for nursing home setting. It is like one big happy home and family. The place is absolutely beautiful. Mom has made many new wonderful friends in her new community.
