Brookdale

The community smelled great and the staff were very friendly . My friend tells me that the food here is fabulous!!! She also enjoys going on the outings with the friends that she has made here. The only issue for me was the outdated furniture, it was clean… but could use some upgrades

I spend every day with my husband so I have come to know Brookdale and the staff very well. They are like family and the staff truly care for the residents. For outing and activities, because of the activities staff of three, are fun and varied - and always looked forward to each week.

Recently took a tour as we've been looking around for a living situation for my mother that keeps her close to our family. Brookdale was so pleasant, it was decorated so nicely for the holidays and had such a warm, cozy feeling. Everyone was friendly and all the facilities were well cared for. My family was very impressed!

l picked Brookdale Scotts Valley because of previous experience with them and found that they have maintained the same top notch food and service for their residents that I expected. Response time in skilled nursing is as faster than other facilities previously experienced. My advice to anyone considering Brookdale is get to know the managers and communicate your needs to them.

Well I enjoy the activities. [name removed] is doing a good job. The exercise in the morning is nice with the ladies I sit with. The staff is very kind. [name removed] the maintenance man does a wonderful job in helping me with whatever I need. I have no complaints living here.

My dad is well taken care of here. I feel comfortable knowing that. Thank you.

My mom is completely at home at Brookdale Mandarin Central. The staff is caring and thoughtful. They keep my mom engaged in activities throughout the day. "Family & friends" events are exceptional.

We are so grateful for the way the staff goes above & beyond not only on special occasions like today, but everyday. Mom is so happy and content here and it gives us such peace of mind and heart. This place and the staff are truly amazing.

This facility does an awesome job of caring for its patients. The nursing staff is awesome. The house keeping patients staff never ceases to amaze me.

The residence seem to be quite clean as well.I believe this place was picked over others, due to the value. Also our positive experience with todd played a big part in it.

We chose Brookdale Glen Ellyn at the time because they offered a 90 day respite stay program which is exactly what my mom needed. I think that the communication on their in-home care program was really lacking structure and follow up. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

I am a physical therapist and have been seeing residents in this facility for over 2 years. Every time I enter the facility I am greeted by a warm smile and a genuine “how are you.” This Love and respect is demonstrated to the residents, their families and to each other as co-workers, just like family. I highly recommend this facility for a loved one in need of care, acceptance, love and respect.

Had to find an assisted living for my father. From the first encounter, [name removed] made this move as easy as possible. Everystaff member Is friendly, caring and helpful. The food is very appetizing.I give Brookdale Lake Highlands 5 stars.
