Brookdale

My stepfather has been living here for 2.5 years and loves it. The 1 bedroom apartment feels spacious and modern. The restaurant style meals in the dining room are delicious and provide a natural time for socializing. The staff, ranging from front desk, housekeeping, cafeteria and medical) are friendly and caring. The community structure helps residents preserve what autonomy they have as long as possible while providing active support. I feel very comfortable with my family member living there.

I had to place Dad quickly and Brookdale felt the most like home. They were very friendly and caring and willing to work with me once Dad passed. He enjoyed his time there getting to know some of the residents and feeing like home. Highly recommend.

Our loved one is gone now but I can't recommend Brookdale enough No funky smells!! Friendliness of the staff gets 5!!! From the Manager on down!! They knew the pts by name but let them wander into other peoples rooms. Freshly cooked food but not too many fresh vegetables or fruit. Mom didn't complain too much about it. So many things to do! And a monthly family night! It's ridiculously expensive but so were the two before Brookdale. It was comparable to the others in price

All of The staff was awesome. The facility fantastic. Everyone always there to help when needed. They have plentiful activities available for the residents and my mom loved them!

The biggest part is the communication, they keep me up to date on things I need to know and they have no issue with getting information when I ask for it. My grandfather seems very happy and comfortable there. His anxiety tic has completely disappeared. I and the staff have a solid system of communication.

Our mother lived at Brookdale Johnson City for 3 years until her passing in June, 2024. The staff provided caring support as her needs increased, and she was treated like family by her caregivers. We appreciated the open lines of communication we had with the Executive Director, nursing staff, activities staff, and caregivers. The grounds are inviting, and we enjoyed seeing the flowers bloom through the seasons. Having a facility like Brookdale Johnson City close to us helped alleviate our worries about her levels of care, especially as they changed. We appreciated the monthly calls to check on our perceptions of her care, knowing that if we had concerns, they would be addressed. I have recommended Brookdale to other families, knowing their attention to detail, caring staff, and clean facilities.

[name removed] (who was sort of our point person and there every day) was incredible. Continuously went out of her way to help and be available. Added a huge comfort to our family. They did a great job of getting her involved and having things to do, I was very impressed. Overall - I would definitely recommend to anyone, and we have talked with her about going back if/when she needs that level of care again. Great place!

The staff at Brookdale are professional, thorough and very nice to work with. The make the residents there fell part of a family and it is a warm, friendly and happy place to be living in. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place for an elderly parent or relative to check out the their facilities. You will be very impressed.

I cant say anywhere we would have taken my Mom would be perfect, but from where Our Mom started to where we are now, we are all a lot happier with Brookdale College Park. If you need good care for Alzheimer's and dementia only then I'd call [name removed] who runs Brookdale College Square for a tour. She has been excellent and on the ball about every issue from paperwork to Dr appointments. You can also count on another [name removed] the head nurse who is an excellent nurse and has been really kind and sweet to my mom. Plus she has done a great job of getting my mom off all the unnecessary meds that she was on. So I'd recommend this Facility to anyone and I wouldn't worry they would be unhappy. There are a lot of Places that will advertise memory care but I'd look at them really close and listen to your Agent from a place for Mom they have a lot of knowledge and were really helpful for me when this all started. Plus they didn't just go away after we found a place that I chose. They did follow ups to ask how things were going and in our case we knew in the first month that our mom would need a higher level of care and [name removed] really helped guide me to a place she thought was best and it has been excellent for the last 3-4 months. I don't worry about my mom's daily care anymore because Brookdale has proved to me that they can handle it.

From the Assessment of my Mom's mental and physical limitations to move-in day, we have been completely impressed with the management team and staff this facility. The compassion and teamwork in every visit!

Brookdale is amazing. The staff goes beyond helping mom make her life manageable, the staff reminds her to go to meals, events, they drive her to dr appts, shopping, truly amazing place for mom.

I was able to sleep at night due to not worrying all night. He seemed happy and his room was clean. I did not meet any staff that was not friendly or helpful. They were very caring to me when my loved one passed away. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Clarksville to others looking.

We love it here. The staff is fantastic. They communicate when things are going on and call when they need to if my grandma falls or is acting more out of sorts than normal. You can tell they care. The Executive Director [name removed] is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this place. My grandma is safe and well cared for.

I was impressed by the friendly, caring staff and appealing appearance of the facility. Residents have good selection of room sizes-even very nice double rooms. These were very comfortable for long term residents.

Brookdale Centennial Park is a smaller facility where they take time to know the residents and assist with with their individual needs. I absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking.

My husband passed away there a year ago. They were very compassionate and kind. He had been in several other places and did the best at Brookdale. The staff was the best part about them. The food was overcooked, but he didn't care. Activity director was good.
