Brookdale

Very pleased with recommendation of touring Brookdale. My parents also really felt comfortable ! The moved in August and are settling in quite nicely! The staff has been wonderful ! Everyone we met along the decision making journey was super nice!

My mom has been in the Clare Bridge assisted living section of Brookdale Southside for a little less than three months. She was quickly able to make a few friends who she enjoys sitting with at meal times and activities. Each month we are given a calendar showing the daily activities. My mom likes that it is her choice to participate or not. When not participating in group activities she likes to put a puzzle together in her room as she did in her own home. She also has a TV and like puzzle books. We are both pleased and grateful that the staff are caring and kind. I am dependent on them to contact me if there is a special need because mom is no longer able to use phone or share accurate information.

My brother was moving and l live 45 minutes from my dad. I was having to go to his house every day, sometimes at night. I hated to leave him alone during the night, because He is diabetic and that scared me. Brookdale is less than 15 minutes from my house now. Which makes me feel much better knowing that if he needs help there is someone to help. I love the staff. They all love dad too.

Caregivers are compassionate loving and always helpful. Food and always helpful. Food looks amazing. The activities are engaging and enjoyable. A wonderful facility.

Brookdale is a well run, friendly place as a visitor and for residents I knowing wife is in good hands.

Excellent place for my mother I have always been pleased with the care and love my mom. Experiences here. She is happy and I don't worry about her. The staff here is the best.

I was pressured from the place they were to find a memory care. I went to places and visited. I don't like the way they looked or. The facilities were not equipped to meet the needs of my loved one. I prayed for me to make the right decision on where they go. I called Brookdale and from the nicest greeting I felt a sense of warmth like I know I just found the right place. Everyone has gone above and beyond my expectations. I can't say enough about Brookdale.

Father move in over one year ago with Alzheimer's disease. He is thriving, safe and well taken care of at Brookdale. Can't say enough how the facility has understood his needs and respect the independence he still has in his life. Thank you!

The staff is very knowledgeable! They maintain communication with the families and are always available to answer questions or concerns. We feel welcome any time and appreciate the comfortable atmosphere.

Seems short staffed. Food is not varied or tasty. Overall my mother is very happy there! She has made friends and has her favorite aides. Location very close to immediate family. At days away from being 102, we all are very satisfied and happy we chose Brookdale.

She is happy there and the staff go above and beyond to care for her. I live out of state and am kept apprised of her health and well-being which provides peace of mind for me. It has been my pleasure to get to know the staff – each one is a treasure! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking excellent care of my mom!

Is a very family-oriented place walking into the building they make you feel like family right at the front door. All the employees show love to every resident as if it was their own family member. Yes, I’m just waiting on. What do you call it? I don’t see.

Easy, professional transition.

My Dad is thriving! It was a big adjustment for awhile, but he's settled in, started a Euchre club! Participates in activities, and made friends! He really needed that Socialization! So proud of him!!! It is just such a good match for him! It was such a hard decision, but so worth it in the long run! Nice facility, wonderful staff that engage with him throughout the day! He's a "poster child " of a good fit and transition! They're already planning to celebrate his birthday next month, he has kids of family members that call him "Grampa"!!! So precious! I've been an RN for over 30 years, I know the difference between good and bad Patient care! We're so happy with this decision, knowing my Dad is safe, and active. If I can help anyone else with this decision I'd be happy to help!

[name removed] has been at Brookdale for 1 1/2 mos. He loves it there and we are very happy with the staff & the facility. Everyone there is friendly and very helpful.

They truly care about the residents. From day 1 the staff has been very friendly, supportive, and accommodating. I'm also impressed by the lack of turnover of the staff - it's evident it's a great place to work! When I walked in it reminded me of the assisted living facility my Aunt lived in in California so I know she would feel at home. The room options was also great.

I would definitely recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for an assisted living. The Administration, Kitchen and dinning staff, laundry and cleaning staff and nursing and medical staff are all amazing and let's not forget the maintenance crew!! Also a special shoutout to [name removed] for making you feel right at home from the moment you got her to check the place out! [name removed] the Activity director goes above and beyond to make life exciting for all the residents. [name removed] the Director is always willing to handle every need and concern along the way! It has the most homey feel and is well maintained and they are continually making updates! The grounds are beautifully maintained and welcoming to visitors! Overall Fantastic Place and we visited many before making the choice for Brookdale for our loved one.

I like the size of the facility. It's not too big now too small. They seem to do their best to get people engaged. Unfortunately with my father-in-law, he can't hear very well and he can't see very well so he can't really be included in bingo or any of the games that they play. Of course, that is not their fault that's circumstances. The only thing he really complains about is how long it takes to get served on the meals.

We would give all 5's the staff was great and [name removed]was excellent to deal with. I would recommend anyone looking into this facility to go and work with him. We would absolutely recommend Brookdale Murrysville to others. We were very happy with the care that was provided.

All the staff was amazing. Particularly [name removed] . They all obviously care deeply for all the residents and based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to others!
