Brookdale

Since Mom passed, the staff has changed so my answers are for those who were present to care for Mom. It is a pleasant facility and the hospice people were phenomenal.

What we like the most about Brookdale Wooster is the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness. [name removed] was wonderful. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

[names removed] are the best. Oh yes, I would recommend to anybody.

We rented an apartment, but he passed away before he could move in. It was close to where he lived and family, we toured several times and liked the facility and parent also did. We loved the administrative staff they were very helpful through the complete process. Because we never moved dad in they gave us back a credit for the 1 time administration fee which they didn't have to do.

[name removed] was amazing. She was so helpful and professional.

[name removed] is very knowledge at what she does. She is a great representative of Brookdale.

#1-3 and 5 are all a 5. Unfortunately, I cannot speak to the other numbers because due to unforeseen circumstances, we were not able to transfer my mother-in-law to Brookdale. I cannot tell you how disappointed we were that she would not have the opportunity to experience what we felt like would be top notch care. Our interactions with Marty specifically were exceptional. The comprehensive healthcare plan they offer is a huge positive bonus. I would highly recommend this community to any family, looking for quality and compassionate memory care for their loved one.

What we liked the most about Brookdale Goodlettsville was that everyone was so nice and seemed to care. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we had.

I only dealt with a couple people but [name removed] was wonderful. With the value for cost it is hard to say since they never lived there. Based on the limited interaction I had with them, yes. But I would warn people about our experience where we signed a contract and paid for 2 months before they told us that they couldn't accommodate my parents needs. I was upfront from the beginning about their limitations but was told it would be no problem until 2 months into the process. I don't know that it is a problem specifically with them though or just assisted living in general.

We chose Brookdale Tramway Ridge because of the friendliness, communication, willing to listen and resolving any issue ASAP. There are choices for room sizes that are available and plenty of amenities/activities.

The staff worked hard to overcome difficulties that they encountered about the time Mom moved in (frozen water pipes, the cook quit, and the maintenance man left). The staff works hard to show respect to the residents and make them feel that this is their home.

I liked the atmosphere over the other facility that my mother was in... the other was more like a hospital. Warm and homey atmosphere with friendly staff. The rooms are larger than some facilities.

My Dad lived at Brookdale Camino Real for the past 10 months. The staff is first rate. [name removed] to name a few were so increadibly kind to him. The facility is well managed, maintained and kept very clean. I visited Dad many times per week during his stay and felt like the staff had the residents best interest at heart. All the best to my Texas Friends at Camino Real!!

One thing: my parents are in independent living, so they don't receive any care at the moment. One thing I do like is that even in independent care you can have services (laundry, dressing, showering etc...) if needed. Obviously there is a cost, but it is nice to have that option. One thing that I appreciate is that they go out of their way to get people involved in activities and getting to know others in the facilities. It has been a tremendous facility and the people have been wonderful.

The community is very clean. The staff is friendly and is always willing to help. The staffing ratio is very good compared to similar properties, and the residents are well taken care of. I would recommend.

The place was nice and clean. The staff was helpful and I liked how they communicated when my father in law would not stay in his bed. How they worked with him to find a solution. The room size was great. Very spacious. I don't about activities. I did like how he was with other people during meal time

It was a little higher monthly price. But my Aunt gets a lot of attention and the staff is friendly. The room size is perfect. I felt at ease when I first entered from the staff. Very friendly and helpful.

My father had a stroke 1 year prior to moving into Brookdale. He was living an isolated life in his home and we pushed him to move to assisted living. Over the 7 months my father spent at Brookdale he became the happiest I’d seen him in the 6 years since our mother had passed and left him a widow. He raved every time I came to visit about how much he enjoyed doing puzzles, trivia, playing Bingo, and just hanging out with the men in the community. It was a place my father blossomed into a social butterfly and out of a sadness he had from loosing his wife. I will be forever grateful to Brookdale for being a place my father truely enjoyed living.

Brookdale North Austin has been such an amazing community to my mother. Not only do they provide outstanding care to their residents, but they also don't have high turnover, so you know who's caring for your loved one. [name removed]and [name removed]do an amazing job at engaging the residents, [name removed]and [name removed]do an amazing job making sure everyone is taken care of. [name removed] helped answer all of my questions and made me feel at home giving me confidence that I was making the right move for my mom. Highly recommend Brookdale North Austin.
