I toured this for my mom who will be coming out of state to be closer to me and my family. Very nice place. I like their centrally located areas and the wading pool and atrium. Best part was their "anytime" dining, since my mom is a night owl and never liked the strict meal times. She's now on a waitlist to get in!

The internet is very good in my room. I think the main asset is the staff! They have welcomed me and made my transition into this new chapter a little bit easier. It was tough for me at first. One other thing are the residents themselves here. They have been so nice! That helped too.

The rooms were big enough to hold not only a bed and dresser but also table and chairs and couch and recliner plus book shelves, staff very accommodating and friendly, food is very good and plenty of it, so for pleased with overall treatment of my wife

We have really liked our experience. No complaints. Transparently we did not take advantage of much but the food. Service can be slow but excellent regardless.

The staff is very friendly, the care excellent, activities weak, and the food is good!

My mom is very happy with the activities. Some of the staff are really great and I trust them, but there have been times when they haven't done as they said they would because they didn't have enough time i.e. showers. I know the caregivers are working but sometimes it seems there aren't enough of them. On cleaning day, the housekeeper is supposed to change linens but they seem to miss that task unless it's pointed out. Linens were lost the first day they did laundry. Apartment size is very nice. Really enjoy the patio. Overall I feel like they care about my parents and seem to be getting to know them. I think some kind of "what to expect as new residents and families" guide would be helpful. I also think the food menu is really excellent!

Well it is good and bad. They have just raised rent by $[removed], depending on when someone signed their lease. I did not get an increase. They had a special when I moved in. They worked with me with discounts and special leasing of first month free. They do not carry out all promises given. The meals are restaurant type but not always the best. The property says it is totally smoke free yet that is not so. They have a smoking area yet it is not enforced completely. Employees smoke outside by kitchen and others toss cigarettes at all the doors. The grounds do not have trash picked as much as I would like. Yet they really are pet friendly. They are still doing renovations they are not completely done but very livable. One very disappointing is the promised cleaning weekly. I have not seen that to be the case. Many residents complain that they do not get cleanings at all. This cleaning is very MINIMAL

Overall our family has had a very positive experience with The Gardens, we would recommend them to others looking.

The staff and facilities are very good. The food is just ok. The apartments are sized well.

We were welcomed by a Vitalia staff person and were taken on a thorough tour of several apartments and the resident activity areas! Overall we were impressed! The major concern is the distance from the two Bedroom apts to the dinning activity areas! We plan to visit Vitalia Westlake to see it it has a better layout!

The person who gave us the tour was very kind and knowledgeable. My father liked that the location was new, and we were pleased that their meals are offered during a twelve hour block instead of three specific times.

The staff was very accommodating. The room needed just a few small fixes and the tv was not yet set up as requested upon move in. It would be so helpful if moving help was offered. We had family, so we were ok but if it were just my mom, I'm not sure how it would have gone. It's a small thing but as these transitions are often emotional and a bit sad at first, a welcome sign or small gesture like a welcome snack bag or something could lighten the atmosphere a bit. Overall, we were pleased.

Communication from management is often unclear and slow when issues come up. For example, I complained about the Wi-Fi, and while they said they understood the problem, nothing ever improved. The Wi-Fi service is terrible, and overall the concerns I raised were never properly addressed.

The place is wonderful. They just struggle with the food and having enough staff help.

Beautiful building and rooms. Good food. Nursing is attentive but they could use an extra nurse during the day in assisted living part of the facility

My overall experience upon moving to Vitalia is rated at 4 stars. I don't think 5's are logical as any moving situation has its pros and cons. Although several conversations took place prior to selection and much paperwork and documents were presented there was a period during which I felt overwhelmed. Adjusting to new surroundings while still trying to make it a home took priority. Learning the rules ie who to contact with questions could have been easily solved if a long time resident ( or committee) had been available as a potential source of info. Knowing who to contact is more than half the battle because as a newbie the last thing you want is to be labeled a problem. After settling in which took several weeks I am able to say I am satisfied with overall service. The staff is pleasant and friendly and there are plenty of opportunities to become socially active. I am making it my personal goal to try a variety of programs and to make as many new friends as possible.

My very first tour so I have nothing to compare to. My guide was knowledgeable and gracious. She invited me to come participate at some point to get a better feel as I get closer in chosing what I feel fits me best.

Floor staff were very good. Seemed like they couldn't hold on to their admin staff. Food was fine. Quality of care was very good. I felt my mother was safe there. Notable staff were nurse [name removed] at nurses station and [name removed]-Love who worked on the floor. [name removed] from Premiere Health was also very good. Reason for leaving was financial only.

The facilities seemed to be clean and organized. The staff seemed engaged with the occupants. We are early in our search but found the sales person knowledgeable and supportive.

Mostly, things are good there. The staff is nice and thoughtful. My father passed away last[Date Removed] and the support they gave my mom and the rest of the family was tremendous. There are plenty of activities for mom and she does almost all of them. The facilities are clean and the food service is good. The Princeton does struggle with communication sometimes. Mom had a fall and went to the ER as a precaution. I wasn't notified until hours later. There was a billing mix up after my father passed and we just got a bill for 4 months rent, after being told we had a credit each billing cycle. There have been a few medical things that have popped up that I only found out about because I initiated a meeting (I am PoA). But, they are nice people and try to fix the issues when they arise.
