They have been great and responsive to concerns The staff are friendly and responsive. More time spent residents bathrooms would be my o my suggestion although their not bad they could just use more frequency

My main objection is that the only view overlooks a busy and noisy road. Mom has good hearing, so she chose a quiet room but the only view is the tiny courtyard and other apartments. I think she'd be completely happy there if she could see trees or hills or something lovely. The facility is old and a little shabby, which put me off at first. However, Mom is at a stage where she cares most about quiet, feeling safe and cared for, and being treated with respect, and Sun Terrace is very much meeting those needs. The current head of nursing staff and the director are doing an excellent job ensuring that. Staff have been very good.

Everyone on staff at Regency Park Place was extremely kind. And they took very good care of my father. The food service needs a complete overhaul, including more fresh vegetables and more careful cooking. But overall it's a great place if you need assisted living in Corvallis.

Our family had an in person tour with Fox Hollow Independent Living and overall we thought the tour experience itself was really nice but at the end of the day the community was just not going to be the best fit for our loved one.

Parkview Estates is a great place and my friends [names removed] are happy there. I'd give you a 9 out of 10 for everything and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable home with happy staff.

We picked this community becasue of the initial impression. I would probaly recommend to other families.

When I walked into this facility, it felt like the atmosphere and décor fit my mom perfectly. They've done a really nice job of putting it together and decorating. Mom is very happy here and loves it. Her only complain is the food. It's just ok. I've eaten here with her several times. I can't say that I've ever had an excellent meal here. At times, things are undercooked (rice, etc) and some aren't very flavorful. I really wish that would improve. Otherwise, it's a great place. They have a fabulous library, offer a lot of good activities, maintenance is very helpful. The staff in general is very kind. They do have an exercise room, but most of the equipment seems to be broken. Mom's room is very large and beautiful. It's a little bit further of a drive for us to visit, but such a good fit for her that it's worth it. I would recommend them to family and friends, but would caution that the food needs improvement.

I really like it here. It was really a good choice. It's a very friendly community. The staff is good. The people are very nice, pleasant, and helpful. I like my apartment, and they come in and clean and change the sheets once a week.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff and location of the community stand out to me. There are good staff here. They go out of their way to take care of any issues and answer my questions. The community is able to assist with medication management, bathing, transferring, and more for my loved one. The monthly fee covers three meals a day, snacks, and beverages, housekeeping, room, and more.

Our loved one has yet to take advantage of the activities, but on paper there seems to be a lot of different things to do. The value for cost is fair, but the meals do need improvement. When we talk with our loved one they say the portions could be better and just overall the quality.

We really liked the assisted living side of Regency Village. The only downfall was the room was much smaller and it was more expensive than another facility we were looking into. It was also laid out a little differnt and it was confuting to us.

The main common areas are clean, but the consistency with the house keeping to our loved ones apartment weekly can use some improvement. The dining time is good, but the meals themselves as a whole as been a disappointment. Our loved one is very happy with the activities and all the new friends she has made, and the value for cost is sufficient enough for her.

The staff are easy to talk to. They have promptly addressed any issues or problems my parent have had. Their apartment is great and well laid out. It's easy to get into the bathrooms, and my parents like it. There's a good variety to the food, but it's more institutional as opposed to home cooking. I know my parents wish it was a little more creative. When the Covid situation permits, they have a lot of activities on the schedule, which is good.

Parkview Estates is a beautiful facility. When we toured it was clean, the residents in the hallways had big smiles on their faces, and it just felt like a fancy hotel. The staff are all very friendly and residents are welcoming. They did just come off of a 5/6 week shut down with covid because of an outbreak. The way they handled it was great but it was very difficult for my mom. The food looks good, but she said they do not cater well to dietary restrictions.

Our family had a virtual tour and even though it was virtually we got a good feel for the place and the staff had good communication.

It's a pretty nice place. If you want luxury, it's not luxurious living. But it's not terrible. It's on a peninsula, in a nice setting with woods all behind it. It's the only assisted living facility in Long Beach. The staff seems friendly and helpful. They have someone who comes in and cleans our loved one's room all the time. It's pricey but not as expensive as it could be.

They never told us about their COVID rules and this has caused us some stresses not being able to see our loved one as often as we would have liked. This will be a great community especially after the pandemic.

Sun Terrace seems like a very nice place. I know some locals who have their parents here and they say that they really like it. I have heard good things about them.

While our loved one was there, she got sick and had to go to the hospital. They recommend she go to a nursing home to recover, but she shortly passed away after. About a month later we went back to this community to grab her belongings and the room was dirty. There was mouse droppings in the drawers, the floors, window seals and sink were very dirty. The director called our family to apologize, and with covid we know times were difficult. The staff was friendly but at times they did seem short staffed.

The community controls so much that it's hard to get things fixed or get changes done for our loved ones. The communication between the staff and family is average. I would recommend this community to others
