Mansions Properties

These units are large with a full kitchen in every unit. However, I didn't love the overall feel (in comparison to [community name removed). It seemed dark in hallways, with a more closed floor plan. Staff was friendly, but I didn't observe any of them greet residents by name. Very small workout room, no theater, dining room was fine. (Did not see private dining if residents want to have gathering). Only 2 apartments available. (Setting not quite as pretty as [community name removed]. More fees than [community name removed].)

1 bed/1 bath $1995+600 - paid utilities, meals, housekeeping EOW, activities, exercise, library, theater room, transportation to appointments and outings. Pets $1000 one time fee - up to two under 25lbs. Scooters $1500 one time fee and $250,000 personal liability insurance. Doorway to patio and hallway. Can have home health.

We really like living here at the nice community. The staff members are always nice and friendly. I have found them to be very caring to my needs. I like the meals that are being served. They offer great activities. We enjoy playing cards often. I have recommended others to this community for the good care and value that is received.

Nice large, facility. Great place for independent elderly who want to be around a large contingent of similar ages.

We have lived at Mansions for a month & while we still feel "new" we also feel a part of the family here. The staff is very responsive and caring. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. We are perfectly comfortable in our 1,000 sq. ft. apartment w/balcony. We especially enjoy the Sunday buffet meal and are fed 3 full meals a day. You can participate in the daily activities, bus trips and exercises or not. You have a full kitchen so you can entertain your new neighbors or just wave to them in the hall! Most everyone decorates their apartment doors and you can get a hint of each personality in that way. Mansions is good value for the money. Senior apartment life is what you make it!

Beautiful new facility. I like the fact that it only has 3 floors as my mother is claustrophobic and does not like elevators. Pros: 3 meals a day, internet/cable included, w/ in units, prices are reasonable. Cons: Too far a way from where I live in Atlanta, no pendant service offered, entrance not secured 24hr/day.

We toured this community as we were looking for options. The community had beautiful units and great pricing. But they were light on the actives that were provided.

Without getting too nitpicky about it I would say overall this place is good. There are a few things I think they could improve on, but overall I'm satisfied with the choice I made. I looked at a few different options in the area, and I would still pick this place again if I had a second chance.

They really have tried to do their best given the current circumstances, and everyone there has been vaccinated which is really nice. They do keep it pretty clean, and house keeping comes in every couple weeks to their individuals rooms. The staff members are really great, we do think the meals are good and they do have quite a bit of activities still, but they had to shut a majority of them down.

This community looked nice when I visited, however it felt like it was made cheaply. It felt like it would look worn in a few years. It had awful carpet and it seemed they did the minimum amount of construction. Due to the cheap looking construction I was wondering if this was the kind of care the residents would receive.

too much fried food and need more waiters ,and workers that are handymen.

Nice friendly clean. Food needs improvement. Better choices. Simply foods. Better silverware. No so much fish. Doesn't come out hot.

My Mother lives at this Mansions at Sandy Springs. I'm baffled how this site has 5 stars for the food. Mom says sometimes the meals are OK, but they are usually subpar. Everything else there seems very nice.

It was okay. it was a long hallway and the dining room was way in the back. They did not have too many activities rooms. The location was in a busy area, so safety wise it was not a safe area for walking.

I was able to have an in person tour and right when I walked through the entry way everything was just dead silence. There was nobody around, just nothing.

The Mansions at Decatur appeared to be a nice cozy community, which I Iliked, but the rooms were too small for me with little storage space. I really liked the individual porches or balconies of residents.

The first year the staff and owners promised a great experience. The facility is very clean and well maintained as it opened in 2016. The facility is appointed and decorated to present a very inviting atmosphere. No real exercise room or areas for small (10-15) person gatherings. The lobby and dining room are used for everything, Activities are very limited as the Activity Director is not engaged. Significant turnover in the staff including the director. Food quality, presentation and selection is well below what was promised. As everyone knows, the food experience is a major part of any senior community and the Mansions at Alpharetta falls way below expectations. With 12 other senior communities within 10 miles of this facility I would not recommend this facility.

Welcoming, bright, clean wide halls. No theater, but they are close by. No pool. A bit of sticker shock. Full kitchen (not really needed), no walking path, very small, incomplete fitness area.

We liked this new construction location nearest our current neighborhood. Opening is not till 8/1 so we could not get a good feel for how it is going to be when finished. The meal plan is for 3 meals a day and that does not fit our lifestyle.
