I moved my Dad to Countryside Manor about a month ago. He was in an alternate setting with my Mom, but after my Mom passed away, it was apparent Dad needed more. I could not be happier. Dad was immediately embraced as one of the family, the staff has been so good to him. He has a beautiful room with huge windows and a private bath. There are many lovely nooks where he can sit outside or inside and enjoy the sunshine and the weather. This has been a challenging time for care givers and I appreciate everything Countryside manor has done, and the hard work they continue to do to make my dad feel at home.

It is a very nice, small, clean place. Friendly caring staff. The rooms sizes are a little small but overall it is pretty nice. They have a small outdoor courtyard for residents to use. My mom is happy there.

Chestnut House seems like a very nice and cheerful place. The care has been very good. It is a much better situation than she was living in before. We visited other places and at Chestnut House the staff really impressed us and the facility seemed very clean and cheery which is why we chose it.

It meets all my needs, it is bright and lots of light. It's a place anyone would want to live. It smells nice when you walk in the door.

It's a nice place, very welcoming, they try to understand you and make everyone at home.

The staff was very nice. The facility new and inviting. Nothing was bad and we are considering this place as a place for my mom to live. The only down side was price. It's $4,100 a month verses $2,700 a month at Heritage of Portage. It might be hard to justify the price difference.

Everything was nice. The staff, the facility and the residents. We were most excited about the possibility of the ground floor rooms with patios. This would allow my mom to let her dog out easily. Both my mom and I had nothing bad to say about the visit and will be considering this as a candidate for my mom to live.

We are looking for retirement community for our future. I am looking for a community that has Independent living, assisted living and rehab. Bellevue had independent and assisted living but not rehab. It is a lovely facility with many activities and advantages. We may take another tour in the future.

I like the activities. It took me a while to get used to it here but I like it now.

The people are nice, I like the exercise and activities/classes. I like my room.

I give it a 4 for the care I am getting.

I find the care given at their specific level of care did not match up to my expectations. More intervention needed more often with my loved one Basically; happy with staff and facility.

Mom really liked the feel of a smaller community, she didn't feel as overwhelmed as with some of the larger complexes. She was concerned about the limited amount of square footage in the units. She wasn't sure if she could make the transition.

The room sizes were good! More like a true apartment. Residents seemed to be enjoying themselves. When talking with residents the only complaint was the food.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Aunt. The reason why we did not pick this community is that they were more of an independent living facility and they didn’t have enough care to provide her. The marketing director was very helpful and informative. They answered all of our questions and gave us clear answers. It’s a very nice facility and the staff was friendly too. I would recommend it to other families.

My dad was living at the community for some time. The place was really good to him, even though he didn't see that he needed to be there. He had good care and ate well.

This is a really nice community and the staff did a very nice job with my tour here for my mom. They took their time showing me around and answering all my questions. There were a lot of amenities for the residents should they want to take part and all the staff was friendly. I felt that my mom would have done well here, but I did settle on a smaller community. I would definitely recommend that you come and take their tour.

Parkside Manor is a lovely community. The landscaping is beautiful and well-kept. They gave a nice presentation of what they could offer the residents. We had to choose another community that that was a better fit for our loved one.

The staff here have been very sweet and they have been working with my dad on his transition here. My dad is blind and a fall risk so they make sure that they are aware of what he is doing and if he needs help. This is a smaller community which is nice. My dad enjoys going to the dining area and says the food is great. I would definitely recommend this community.
