The facility was very bright and clean. Residents were well cared for. Staff was always present. They were friendly and helpful to residents and visitors.

The staff are the best. They make this place feel like home. Everyone is kind and I can go to any person who works here with a question. From the caregivers to dining staff, everyone is top notch! A-okay!

Five for all of them. We love this place. It is a great location. The staff are wonderful. We love it. The staff are wonderful. They treat my mom with respect and the getter involved with all the activities there. My mom loves that place. They have rules. But it is an environment where they let them live their own lives and make some of their own decisions.

After visiting more than six communities, I determined that Hickory Park was the best fit for me. I was impressed with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the entire management team. They made an immediate impression on me and made me feel at home. The entire team is always ready to help. Good place to be and safely enjoy my days with friendly and caring people

I am so grateful for the staff at the Courtyard at Auburn Hills. They were so helpful in helping move my father out of skilled nursing rehab- you can tell that the people that work there really care for the residents. Staff are always friendly and responsive, with great communication.

I didn't look at any others. I was satisfied with what I saw at Encore, and the location was the closest to me than others I was considering to visit. I'm very confident that my brother is getting the best care. He seems very happy at Encore.

We are delighted with the care my mom receives. It is truly a wonderful place for my mom. It's a smaller setting with only memory care patients, so it really feels like a family. The staff is extremely attentive and kind, with both residents and family members. They keep residents engaged throughout the day. They have access to doctors and therapists as well as a salon at the facility, which is very convenient.

They are very nice pleasant. They keep you posted on whats happening with your love one. They are good about getting their hair and nails done and keeping things clean and such.

My family is in the process of finding a quality home for my mother who is in need of assisted living. Our positive experience quickly started with our first phone call! [name removed]not only took the the time to answer our questions thoroughly, her kindness and compassion was also well received. When we arrived for our tour, the residents shared their positive experiences and the atmosphere was lively and joyful. We felt that the residents and staff knew each other well and had a good working relationship. Mom loved the social calendar! We feel The Courtyard will be the right place for her.

In my dad's 9 years with dementia he was at 3 other facilities. Encore at Mahtomedi became a home. They became family. They treated my dad with love and respect until his last breath. [name removed]the director is beyond amazing and went out of her way to keep us informed of dad's daily activities. She would even email and text me photos she took throughout the day. My dad passed last week and they cried along with me at his passing. They truly care about their patients.

My father resided at the Courtyard at Oshkosh for 4 years. The facility is clean and well maintained. They decorate beautifully for their residents each holiday/season. The caregivers were wonderful. I was so touched that they knew my dad (his likes and dislikes) so well. They really pampered him. They would have his hot chocolate in front of him at meals before they even started serving. They knew when he was well or having a rough day and were there for him. The management was awesome. There offices are in the entranceway and they were always available. I felt they communicated honestly whether it was positive or a situation needing attention. The management also knew my dad, his personality and likes. The care plan they created for him was individualized for him and routinely updated. The on site nurse was aware and involved in his health issues. I am a RN and think I'm in a unique position to evaluate the care given in a facility and think they did a top notch job.

The Courtyard at McHenry has a friendly staff, with beautiful and clean facilities.

My siblings and I visited a few facilities, but felt that the staff at Hickory Park was more personable and community member focused than others that we visited; in particular, [name removed] was very helpful. Our mother has lived on her own for many years now, and they transition has been a bit rocky at times, but the staff has been willing to help her get to a better place in the community. They have great offerings for therapy, physical, occupational and speech, with staff members who have been very patient. The biggest challenge has been to get our mother to explore the community more, but we feel that will happen over time; she has only been there for about two months.

We have had a very good experience with Parkside. My dad is doing very well and the staff is great. My dad would like to have more heart healthy options but does enjoy the food options they have. Overall it was a great move for my dad.

The apartments are a nice size. The food is very good. There are many activities . There is very good communication on the meals being served and the activities being offered. I like living here very much.

[name removed] and the Encore staff were the perfect fit for our mother. I cannot say enough about the excellent care and the kindness she was shown. They truly have the residents best interest in mind! The facility is clean and mom is always clean with her hair brushed. Mom loves bingo and as she has declined in her cognitive abilities, [name removed] puts her right next to her so she can help her play her bingo cards. It means so much to have her at a place that she is safe, well cared for and loved. We are forever grateful to [name removed] and the entire staff!!

Encore of South Barrington is the “best decision” we ever made for our Mom’s memory care needs. As soon as you walk through the front door, you should immediately feel at home. Encore provides a warm, enjoyable but structured environment that makes your loved one feel safe and comfortable. The compassionate staff does an exceptional job assisting with bathing, dressing, meals and managing of all of her medications. I personally love that there are daily fun-filled activities and programs planned to keep our Mom engaged and interacting with others. The best part is that our Mom is HAPPY and that makes our family HAPPY.

This place is a hidden gem. We had a wonderful experience. I have been in several other facilities and nothing compares. I also love [community removed]. That's who they recommended for rehab when she fell. Nursing staff and administrators are amazing at the Courtyard. However, the [community removed] is a death trap. That's who the hospital recommends.

I just want to start by saying, the few bad reviews, blow my mind. We moved my loved one a few months ago, we had the best experience. [name removed] and the Assistant, [name removed]. Were there every step of the way. Supportive, and answered every question my family had within seconds. Professional to add. There’s so much involvement in the community, as far as activities, which has helped my loved one get out and mingle. When we stop in and visit, almost daily, the office door is always open and available for anyone to go in and speak. Which leads, always an open door to lead. They must have recently got a new cook, my loved one has said the food has been great lately. I highly recommend you to step into the assisted living and get a feel. This place is heaven compared to other surrounding places. Thank you.
