Brookdale

We had to make a decision for our mother rather quickly. Our first attempt at a memory care facility, we very quickly learned it was not a great fit. Brookdale Carmel was recommended and we loved the layout and how welcoming the staff was when we visited. The community is set up in neighborhoods and the residents have access to the entire building so not confined to just a hallway. There are so many activities for the residents that are fitting for all levels of dementia/Alzheimers. From the very first day our mother was there she felt safe. She didn't have agitation or aggression any longer. They meet her where she is. If she wants to walk all day, they let her. They come to her and take her to activities. When we visit all know her name and hug her and make her feel loved and most importantly safe! Brookdale community was the ablsolute best decision for our mother! It's so heartwarming how they treat the residents as family!

All of the staff at Brookdale Corona are very compassionate. The facility itself is secure. They have two separate outside areas for the residents. They also have a lot of great activities provided.

MY FATHER LIVED AT BROOKDALE FOR 6 MONTHS. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. THE DINING ROOM IS WELL DONE AND SERVED AS A SOCIAL TIME FOR FATHER. BROOKDALE IS A GREAT BARGAIN FOR WHAT IS PROVIDED

My dad was previously a resident at Brookdale Dublin and the experience was great. They were very helpful and attentive to my dad as well as my family. Based on our experience, I would recommend this facility to others.

Great place clean well decorated love the family front room and all the fish tanks, great personnel. Very nice room set-up. Nice courtyard with BBQ in them. Dinning room friendly and inviting. Sarha asked question that I didn't think were relitize that made it very easy for me.

All that matters is that my mom feels she is a positive part of this community. and she feels very much cared for! It was her decision to stay at Brookdale after her recovery from a broken hip at [age removed]. And she chose not to return to her independent life of driving, traveling, and caring for a large home. She's happy, and she's living life within and outside of Brookdale.

We chose Brookdale Dover for our mother's care when she could no longer live alone. From touring the facility to moving her in, to taking care of her needs was flawless. The care she received was exceptional, especially the aides that cared for her on a daily basis. Dementia patients can be challenging and no matter what my mother's mood was on a particular day, the aides knew how to care for her. During her last days prior to her passing, the entire staff was accommodating, checking on her constantly, talking to her, and ensuring the family members had privacy during the visits.

The staff are most attentive and know everyone's name. The activities run daily, always with the residents' interest in mind. There are volunteers who play Rummicube with residents and who give hand massages periodically. There is staff on hand who can distribute medications and offer companionship. Also housekeeping services once a week included. Three meals per day included. Friendly and caring residents.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Jackson Oaks and the experience has been great. The staff are wonderful. They are super helpful and supportive. Based on our experience, I would recommend this facility to others.

The community is great - we have been more than pleased with their responsiveness to any and all requests. My dad has vascular dementia, so as far as peers in the community that has been hard. He repeats himself so much and can't remember much so he hasn't really made a friend. As I've interacted with his peers though, they are kind and friendly and seem to be understanding and patient with dad.

Very helpful team. Answered all our questions and made my mom feel at ease with the entire transition. She has settle in nicely and will tell you it is the best decision she ever made.

Went with my brother who is looking for an assisted living facility. We met with Molly who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but ultimately we did not move forward with Brookdale as we felt the apartments were quite small in comparison to others

There are no words that can express our gratitude and appreciation for the many acts of kindness bestowed upon our Mom at Brookdale Dover. After viewing many assisted living facilities nearby our new relocation in DE a few years ago, we found Brookdale Dover to be a most caring, friendly family-like home which would provide the best services for our Mom from health care to socialization. Nursing director goes above and beyond with the wellness staff to ensure her hearing aids are functional with new batteries every 5 days, and all her medications are properly administered as necessary. I am contacted when need be for any concerns or health matters. The food is so good that there are times Mom prefers to eat in rather than go to a restaurant. Brookdale Dover is not just an assisted living facility. It is a caring, kind, considerate, friendly, helpful, thoughtful community home away from home.

They're generally very friendly and helpful. Nice residents and staff, very nice facility, the food is good, and so is the value. It is not as expensive as same we looked at.

I would say what I always say. It is a wonderful place to live. I would recommend it very highly.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Nacogdoches and everything is great for her here! The only thing that I can think to comment about is the staff turnover. But, some of the people who leave do return. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

My loved one is currently a resident at Brookdale Sandy Springs and everything about the experience has been great so far. I get value for my money, but the cost is too high. I'm on a fixed income and there is no money left to live on.

We placed my Sister in this facility Sept., 2023 and have been perfectly satisfied with the care she is getting there. The facility is small with only 42 apartments and well appointed. The staff is very friendly, helpful and caring for all of the residents. There are numerous activities for the residents to participate in and they are always eager to help when we have questions. With linen tablecloths and napkins the dining area seems more like a sit down restaurant than an assisted living facility. Clean and nice rooms. We have never been there when the facility seemed to be neglected. I highly recommend this facility and encourage you to visit. You will not be sorry.

The staff seem to be very attentive, the food is pretty good for the most part. Large variety of meals. The residents are especially welcoming and friendly. The wait staff are kind and helpful. There's a button in the apartment bathrooms for mom to push every morning and evening to let the office people know you are okay. They have a thing to wear around while in the building, so if you were to fall they can know exactly where you are. My mom fell in her room one evening and they got to her very quickly and helped her up. They have group outings to different stores to go shopping. They clean her room and change the sheets twice a month. For 6 dollars you can have a basket of laundry done, brought back all folded. I wish I could pay someone 6$ to do that. Several residents play card games, Dominos, and other games in the lobby after dinner. Or some just sit around and visit. There are two Sunday services upstairs. Puzzle area, library, hair salon, and laundry room so if you don't have a car, you still have everything available. I saw many different family members coming to have lunch or dinner with their parents (and they don't charge extra), which makes it more inviting for people to eat with their mom or dad. I think that's really nice. The place is clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this place for anyone's mom or dad.

The staff is very helpful, responsive, and does a great job with my Aunt. The move in process was very easy, they gave us free rein to decorate the room as we saw fit, and even accepted furniture deliveries on my behalf. I like their weekly newsletter that they email out, it keeps us informed about what's going on at the facility. I toured 8 homes, and would definitely recommend this facility to others.
