Brookdale

While it is never easy having a parent, sibling or friend have to leave their home and enter an assisted living facility, for my father it was especially trying. He is a difficult man at the best of times and let's face it entering into a new living situation, however lovely, was going to try everyone's patience. Or so I thought. Not for the great folks at Brookdale Rotona west. They have been wonderful throughout this past year. Always available, always responsive and always professional. Even during hurricane evacuations ( yes, there were 2!), they were on task and amazing. Now here is the truly amazing part. He likes it! He tells me they take great care of him. He has gained weight and looks so much better. I feel this facility and the wonderful staff are amazing and give it a 5 star rating!

I have lived here for 3 years, I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Food is great! Staff is friendly! We stay busy all the time with fun, enjoyable activities. My preference would be to stay home, since that is not an option Brookdale Sandy Springs is my overall pick after touring every community in town.

My sister lived at the Brookdale assisted living facility for a number of months while recovering from an illness. While the facility is always well kept with nice amenities, the most important aspect was the general environment and care she received while there. The facility at Brookdale is not a massive complex, making the environment feel more intimate, more family-like. She got to know her caretakers and helpers as well as other residents. She felt more like she was part of a family instead of being one of many in an assisted living complex. The staff was always very attentive, helping her when she needed help and encouraging her to get her strength back and become more independent along the way She loved convenience of going to the on-site salon to have her hair done, or get a manicure. However, from a caretakers perspective, I was impressed with the attention she received from the medical staff, who were always there to help her. I highly recommend Brookdale.

This place has a culture well-suited to the needs of the residents they serve and their families. Every staff member shows respect and kindness. They truly care, and it is evident in the work that they do. Family members and friends are always welcome and often called by name. My sister is happy to see her caregivers. Despite the challenges she faces, she wants to cooperate with them, as do her neighbors. I could never compete with the skilled, personalized and loving care she receives here.

[name removed] and her staff do an INCREDIBLE job taking care of my mom and all of the residents! Grace in particular gives everything she has to give from her heart! It takes a VERY special person to do that day after!!! Words cannot describe my appreciation.

The managers here are amazing! The residents here are all wonderful people and get along with everyone. It is very much a family environment at this community. They enjoy games, entertainment, and have such a great happy hour which is made special by the Chef's appetizers that she makes for these occasions.

The activities keep residents engaged throughout the day. The residents always look forward to the outings on Fridays that they get to choose beforehand. The dining menu, the residents enjoy because they get to choose from various entrées. The memory care also have great activities to engage the residents and they go on their outings once a month on Fridays.

Brookdale Rotonda is a welcoming home from the moment you approach the building and step through the front door. The staff is welcoming, engaging, caring, thoughtful, gentle and FUN. The entire building is spotless and the apartments are a generous size. Dad is a very active senior and hasn't been this happy in many years because he craves interatction with people, and there's no lack of that here. There are daily activities to keep residents engaged and active. Special trips to lunch, shopping, and more, allows residents opportuities to engage in the outside community as well. All of this goes back to a top-notch staff that does everything in their power to assist the residents with anything they may need or desire. They also give family members great peace of mind regarding their loved-one, knowing that they are safe and happy. Best in our area!

This is a very pleasant facility. The staff is attentive to the residents. The facility is clean, the food is delicious.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Top-notch decorations to feel like a homestyle holiday. And, the good! Real home-cooked wholesome food. We enjoyed our afternoon celebrating with Mom. Thank you very much for your loving care of occupants.

Love how this feels like a large family home

I love to be around people and learn about them. I enjoy listening to their stories. The staff here is off the chart, without exception. I tell everyone I meet how wonderful it is here and encourage them to come visit.

The physical space is bright, airily, attractive and practical. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I have looked at many places and Brookdale Oro Valley stands far above the rest. It feels like a warm home, but has all of the services of a larger institution. It couldn't be more perfect. And best of all, it is pet friendly!

I come 2-3 days a week to visit my mom or take her to doctor appts. When I enter the building to the time I leave everyone is always very pleasant to me and her. It's a very clean place and lots of activity for her everyday!

The resident is well cared for. The staff is very attentive to her needs. Her room is very nice and sufficient for her needs. The food is very good.

The staff helps all tenants to the best of abilities... Friendly on time with helping all the people who live in the community. Very clean facility.

In the time my mother has resided at Brookdale she has been well taken care of. I believe her move into memory care has been a great benefits as her dementia progresses. The staff is incredible and I'm truly grateful.

Brookdale of Orland has been a true find. It is a safe and supportive environment. The community has engaging activities to keep residents involved.

I visited quite a few places before choose Brookdale Pt Charlotte. But I immediately knew when I walked in that this is where my family should live. The marketing director and the entire team greeted me when I arrived. I felt welcomed and comfortable in their home. I had lunch and the food was really good. Residents are happy and busy with activities. The apartments are really cute, with a refrigerator and microwave.
