North Woods Village is simply a cut above every other memory care facility. The staff are attentive and so caring. They have daily activities that the residents truly enjoy. North woods village is always clean in both the common areas and the residents rooms. I would encourage anyone I know to trust North Woods Village with the care of their loved ones

We searched many care facilities & North Woods is the only one that felt right for our family member. The care, facility, cleanliness & staff team are amazing. We are thankful for North Woods Village.

From the moment I walked in to North Woods Village, I knew it was the perfect place for my aunt. The staff is welcoming, caring, and professional. The facility is beautifully decorated, and the apartments are spacious. The numerous daily activities are fun, stimulating, and well planned. It is such a relief knowing my aunt is living in a safe, caring environment that is full of comfort and love.

I love coming to North Woods to visit my aunt and the other residents there. Some of the workers have become like family to me. I appreciate everything North Woods does to make my aunt and her company comfortable.

The facility is very clean and neat. Chef [name removed] was a pleasure to meet and [name removed] did an amazing job showing me around. All the staff were very friendly. The food is great as well. The activity director was very helpful with explaining what activities they do.

We moved my mom to Northwood on very short notice and were blown away at how organized and accommodating it all was/is. She is getting the best of care and the staff, NP and directors are amazing. Everyone stays in communication and is so kind. We are so happy we moved mom here and have the peace of mind knowing she is getting the very best care.

Northwoods Village of Kalamazoo seems to be an excellent facility for those seeking memory care. The environment feels warm, safe, and engaging. The food is excellent and they have many different activities for residents to explore. I have toured the building twice and left both times with a positive impression.

North Woods Village is all about care and making people happy and comfortable. The nurses and aides use calm caring voices when they talk to residents and always have smiles. I see a picture that says Employee of the Month and wonder how they pick just one! They have many activities for the residents every day from Bingo to movie/popcorn to daily movement routines to live music and sing-alongs and a monthly birthday recognition with cake! The residents are reminded when it’s time to eat-and the chef and staff make wonderful homemade food and deserts. At least once a month the chef makes a dessert while the residents watch and then sample the goods! Lots of sharing memories happen during this activity as well as many of the other activities. The care and attention to a clean room and clothing is evident and the nurses are very helpful, also. Visitors are welcome and treated with respect. North Woods Village is a wonderful place for memory care!

The staff is friendly, give quality care towards residents, a at home atmosphere. We love the activities that are aimed for each residents care. The food is good. Nurses and aides are awesome. North Woods provides therapy that is needed and any extra care.

The staff and facility are first class. Mom has lived here over 2 years. We are loved and treated like family. I would highly recommend North Woods Village to family and friends. The activity director is amazing!

Northwoods Village at Edison Lakes is by far one of the best memory care facilities in the Michiana area. We toured many facilities for our Mother and Northwoods was hands down the best!! The staff are so engaging with the residents. The cleanliness is amazing. Our Mom is thriving in her new home!!

I just want to say how grateful we are for this assisted living facility. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming, and it really feels like a second home for our family member. The place is always clean, the atmosphere is warm, and there’s always something fun going on. And I have to give a HUGE shoutout to [name removed]—she is absolutely amazing! She’s patient, caring, and always willing to answer any question. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it makes such a difference. Knowing [name removed]is there brings us so much peace of mind. We’re honestly so thankful for this place and the people who work here. Highly recommend!

Northwoods Village is a very nice place for the residents annd families! The staff is amazing, caring, and treat the residents like family. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents busy, they have 34 hour nurses, and great food. All the staff go above and beyond and this is a great place! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for memory care for their loved one. The building looks like a resort and there is plenty of space for the residents who like to walk and get some exercise!

I have been extremely happy to care and effort the staff shows. The facility is always spotless, the food is thoughtfully prepared. My only concern would be addition staff would be useful for peak times...

I would rate all the above categories a five. I have told my kids if my health gets to the point I need your type of services I want to be put in your facility .Yes I would recommend North Woods Village community to other families. The staff went above and beyond what I expected

The care at NWV was wonderful. When one of her caregivers saw her ring on the dresser they quickly took it into their possession to hand to me so that no resident would sneak in there and take it How thoughtful!

Based on the items you had in your survey, overall I was very impressed with deer creek, I would recommend highly to anyone looking for elderly care, the most important of all is my mom is happy .

It has been the best thing for my dad and my family. My dad is well taken care of and has made friends. He feels at home.

Every staff member has been exceedingly welcoming and kind. They have especially offered reassurance and acknowledgement of my transition from caregiver back to being a wife and have readily coordinated my husband’s care with his many physicians. There is constant interaction with all the Residents and every staff member helps wherever needed.
