Staff has been very responsive to issues, the two bedroom is very spacious, when there was a complaint about food the chef came to talk with my parents and the food has improved to their satisfaction. Only issue was trying to get my dad online to their Portal. That took a lot of back and forth but we finally figured out they put his email in wrong.

Took my father in law [name removed] there to look at independent living and he loved it. He's a very social outgoing man that lost his wife a little over a year ago and is seriously considering their respite program to try it out.

I found the facility impressive and the staff very personable. The building and the grounds are outstanding. There were many opportunities to interact with staff and other residents. If I was looking for housing for myself I would definitely put this one high on my list. My search is for my brother and he leads a somewhat unstructured, solitary life with his computer. I don’t feel he would avail himself of the social opportunities provided by Waltenwoods University. I will definitely recommend Waltenwoods to my friends who are looking for a high quality housing situation.

I felt immersed in the community during my tour. It was a positive experience and all my questions were answered.

My mother, [name removed] has been at Waltonwood, Carriage Park in Canton for over 8 years, the last 4 years in Assisted Living. The staff has always provided appropriate care for mom and made sure she participated in activities when able to. My mother took care of people, some elderly, in group homes as did her mother, so it was familiar to her--so much so she sometimes with her dementia, she thought she was employed at Waltonwood and felt bad that she couldn't do more to help. Along with her many repeated comments, she made sure to tell family when visiting that she "likes it here" and "this is a good place" all while hinting that she would prefer living with family in their home. Mom's patience and joyful demeanor is perhaps more of a reflection of the dignified care she receives from staff at Waltonwood as it is of her own personality. Thank you again for the care my mom receives from all of you.

Usually the food is a 5 but I'm not as crazy about their "summer menu!" The staff is amazing. There isn't anyone without a smile and a friendly greeting. We love the Friday happy hours and the music. And most of all we have made so many friends.

They have done a wonderful job supporting my brother. I would definitely recommend Walton Woods. They have made the transition to independent living an excellent process.

The staff is very attentive to my moms needs. The Place is always extremely clean . There are many activities for my mom to enjoy . My mom raves about the food.

Seemed like a great facility. [name removed] was very helpful and very kind. However, we realized we needed extra care for our mother so chose a place with memory care instead.

The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. The staff seemed quite dedicated, competent, and compassionate. I was there short term as part of recovery from a fall.

We had a nice tour of the facility. It covered the important areas and pretty much showed us everything and answered all our questions.

My mother has dementia and when my dad passed everyone was very helpful with my mother. My sister eventually moved my mother near her so neither of them were there longer than 5 months.

Very personable staff and everyone at Waltonwood Main had a friendly “Hello” and a smile. Fabulous facility with a very engaged staff and activity calendars for both assisted living and memory care residents which other facilities should envy and emulate. Spacious and fresh & airy environment .

We had a wonderful experience working with this team while searching for the right place for my mom. They were kind, patient, supportive, and never pushy, even though our case remained open for over a year. I especially appreciated the time they took to understand both my mom’s needs and our long-term goals for her care and safety. They helped us find a facility close to home that has been a great fit. My mom loves the activities and social environment. After suffering a fall and hip fracture, she was able to move into assisted living following rehab and continues working toward transitioning into independent living. It is very comforting knowing she can transition between levels of care within the same familiar environment as her needs change over time.

I would recommend Waltonwood University to all of my friends and family.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Residents seemed happy to be living there. Lots of activities for residents to do and transportation services are available.

The food is brought across the parking lot from the assisted living building and doesn't arrive as hot as it should be

We live in Fenton and it is just to far away for us. The staff was excellent, and my dog appreciated the the dog goodie basket.

The staff members are caring, helpful, friendly. My brother who is a picky eater raves about the food. His one bedroom apartment is easy to navigate around in with his wheelchair and is cleaned weekly. All in all, the move to Waltonwood at 12 Oaks has been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them. They are pricey but it's totally worth it for the peace of mind we all have knowing that my brother is happy and in a safe environment and is well taken care of.

I was promptly greeted by the friendly receptionist when I arrived. My meeting was with the marketing manager for a tour of the facility. The marketing manager promptly met with me and we sat down and discussed my dad so she could understand what his needs may be. During the tour I found a clean bright facility with happy residents going about their day. The rooms were spacious and well designed for the person needing assisted care.
