I came to see my Uncle for lunch and a music concert and had so much fun! The food was made to order and perfect! I have a few food allergies and this was not an issue here! The concert was so much fun to watch! You can tell the staff here and the residents here are happy! Everyone is very friendly and my uncle being newer has felt so welcomed he said! Thank you for taking good care of him!

Their food is wonderful, their staff and residents are very sweet, friendly, and welcoming, and their activities and events are exciting. They're an active community with updated apartments, cool activity areas, and great lounging spots. I am so glad to have found such a great community!

I recently toured Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby and was genuinely impressed. The community was clean, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. It was obvious they truly care about their residents and creating a positive environment. The apartments were spacious and well-designed, and the common areas were inviting and comfortable. I also enjoyed learning about the activities, dining options, and amenities available to residents. There was a strong sense of community, and it felt like a place where people can truly enjoy an active, independent lifestyle. Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby made a wonderful impression, and I would highly recommend scheduling a tour if you're exploring senior living options.

I came into do a tour and wow. The property is HUGE! My mother in law could also keep her car and her church family is very close by. We liked they invited us to stay for lunch which they were the only place to do that. My mother in law was so tired from the tours and the sales girl was not only knowledgeable but also so patient. We also had the chance to meet and speak with a couple other managers including the Executive Director who took the time to get to know our family as well. The lunch we had was great and they did not rush us as my mother in law eats very slow. We like the two bedroom we were shown because of the view. She's a country girl at heart and loves the wooded area off her room!

This is a nice clean community. My great grandma lives here and has for years. We recently went in for dinner and visited and the food was delicious! Her room is always clean and they have a lot of events for her to do if she feels up to it!

This is an absolutely a beautiful place for a family member who can no longer maintain a house on their own . The amenities are numerous and more than I found at 6 other facilities. There is no huge buy in which allowed us to get our family member in immediately rather than wait for property to be sold. The staff are caring and go above and beyond. They know the residents name. I felt at ease with leaving our family member in their facility. The food is also excellent and the portions are sensible. Gluten free is always available and the soups were not loaded with salt. I am thoroughly impressed. The activities are numerous and the community is welcoming and kind. I very pleasing environment to have your loved you reside in.

Lovely facility. I love that it’s connected to an actual public library. Love choice between cottage and apartment.

As this is Senior apartments there is no care and no food, but what I like the most about Chesapeake Bay is the community and the housing. The value is personal but I would recommend Chesapeake Bay to other families.

I love going to visit my grandma. I usually find her playing games when I go up there. She has tons of friends. The staff treat her and all the residents like family! If they say something, you can take it to the bank!

Staff are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, compassionate. Food is very good and plentiful. A little noisy with traffic but can't be helped if we want to be near services. Cost is less than others we looked at for same services.

My mom is here and having the time of her life. At the time it was the welcoming team members that we came in contact with. Unfortunately that individual that really made a positive impact is no longer there but the staff that remains is kind, compassionate, and understanding .

Yes, I recommend this place. For some reason, we have a number of people leaving. Some that I know of need more services. They don't serve meals here, but have a continental breakfast M-F as well as a monthly community dinner and a monthly potluck dinner, where the property provides the entrée. There are weekly outings on Wednesdays where they take residents on a bus to a shopping spot or two. Last week it was Walmart and Kroger, this week it's Central Market and TJ Maxx. They also take people in the bus to various lunch spots on Fridays. Last week was Asian Mint; this week is Blue Goose. Usually on the last Friday of the month they go to the JCC, where they hand out an extra meal or two, frozen, to take home, although I have one friend who doesn't care for their meals. We've had some people talk about forming "dinner" clubs where they could get together and alternate who prepares the dinner for the group. To my knowledge, none of these have formed as of yet. They usually do something to celebrate any big event or holiday. Hat decorating and a party for the Kentucky Derby; celebrations for Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day. We have a new Activities Director who seems to be very enthusiastic about her job.

My tour went very well. Cleanliness and friendly staff stood out the most. The apartment was clean and inviting.

Since relocating to Texas in 2014, I had visited several "adult" facilities over the years, even though many were out of my price range, the hospitality towards a visitor was disappointing . The first contact with ' A Place for Mom, and especially the initial contact with The Oaks at Plano was warm and inviting. I felt like I belonged!

We really love how much they care about their tenants. They actually interact with and know their tenants. When they have a holiday and the dining room is closed they make sure to deliver sandwiches to each tenant so that they have dinner or a snack so that the kitchen staff can have time with their families. They are also very quick to get back with my family when we have questions.

Very nice facility. The residents were quite pleasant and friendly. Buildings and grounds are well kept and neat. [name removed], our guide was excellent. Very nice, well informed and professional. She answered all our questions and showed did a very good job of showing us around.

I love my place so far. Staff has been great. Not quite as busy as I thought it would be but I've been very busy moving in. So far, so good. The apartment size is roomy. I am very happy with the staff and the way they respond to requests.

Beautiful buildings landscape people were very nice easy access by sidewalk to every area of the place. The clubhouse was excellent and the exercise safe room was very nice and I viewed the one bedroom apartment which had a very nice open floor plan and lots of storage I would move in tomorrow, except I’m not ready yet.

The overall experience is that the residents go out there way to get to know you and are helpful in accommodating you to various activities. Warm atmosphere with nice accommodations. Residents are concern about their surroundings.
