Serene Gardens

They are great! They have plenty of indoor activities, but when I tour the place, I guess my only complaint would be is that I was told they would have outings and so far he's been there about seven months and they've only had him on one outing and I would really like it if they did more outings. Where they would take them to maybe the park or to visit other areas where he could see things and not be stuck inside all day.

Accommodating in everything you asked for. The Willows was the best fit for my dad. He was old school and didn't like the new high ceiling places they build now. This was just like his old ranch home style he lived in for years. My dad was always smiling. At home and after he was moved into the Willows. If you look at all the pictures they took & there Facebook page also. My dad loved his six weeks at the willows. Anyone thinking about having there love one go there will be happy there. The other reason we loved the place was only 16 people there. So they always have more time to spend helping your family members. On the activities. The one they had was bowling & my dad was on 2 leagues into his seventies. So he loved that. And the food very accommodating if you was allergic to anything or just changed you mind & didn't like it. Thanks you willow's for caring about our loved ones.

I am so thankful that my grandmother is part of such an amazing community. The staff goes above and beyond every single day—not only for my grandmother, but for our entire family. Their kindness, compassion, and dedication have made such a difference in our lives. Thank you for referring us to Serene Gardens. I can finally sleep peacefully knowing my mom is in such loving and capable hands. We are truly grateful for the exceptional care and support they provide.

I would give a 5 for all categories. The staff was great and found solutions for any issues or questions that came up. They were friendly and responsive. My Dad participated in several activities at the staff's encouragement. The price was very good compared to nearby facilities. It was always clean and well staffed.

The staff has been great especially Jennifer the director. The room is clean and new and spacious. He loves the food and has been encouraged each day to go to meals and hasn't hidden in his room like we feared. He doesn't participate in the activities but we didn't expect him to. He has been kept very safe which was our #1 concern and they have done everything in their power to keep him safe.

I am very pleased with the Staff at the Cottage of Davison..they seem to care deeply about their patients and treat them like a family. They are very adaptable to every patient's needs. Shaunda the manager is amazing and is willing to talk anytime and is open to any suggestions..Also Cam is very attentive to everyone's needs. I can call anytime and they know exactly what is going on with my mom. I love that they take the time to get to know each of their patients and families. Mom seems very happy there. She also likes the food. If she doesn't not like something they will get her something else. The place is very clean and bright and cheerful and gives a homey feel.

The staff was very kind and attentive to my Mom. They checked on her frequently, did their best to engage her, and kept her as comfortable as possible. They were also very courteous to me. It was such an drastically improved environment from where she had been (Bay Shores) that I wish we would have been able to move her earlier.

Went to visit mother in law. The Secure doors are great. The staff Nice, the facility seemed very clean. Family member is close to tv and she likes that. She is safe and cared for that is the most important.

"5"'s across the board! So grateful to have found this facility. The caregivers are very attentive; the food is delicious; the communication has been excellent; the facility is always clean, decorated and pleasant smelling.

The Willows of Bay City bought out [community removed] so I can't comment about this facility as it stands now. They fired the main people in charge, most importantly the Health & Wellness Director [name removed], who basically saved my mom's life after the hospice Chaplain at New Hope read her her last rites. Some of the girls on the floor are the same but I have no idea how it is being run now. They took really good care of my mom at [community removed]. She really loved a few of the staff members, especially their in house therapy dog, Lily.

Kind supportive staff. The hardest part is learning names of 3 change of shifts. Of all the horror stories of other places, I'd have to rate it a 5. Food is good, my husband has made friends too.

My mom has lived in several assisted living homes over the past 9 years. Serene Gardens of Hartland is by far the best. The entire staff is amazing, the director and head nurse are far and away the most knowledgeable and involved caregivers I have ever met. Within 4 hours of arrival, the nursing staff had identified several "inconsistencies" with my mom's medications and we worked together to straighten out all the issues I had brought up to the head nurse at the last facility. The chef is amazing and the food is wonderful. All the residents appear to be well cared for, clean and happy. My mom is very content and, as a health care provider myself, I have a lot of respect for the entire staff. The staff also sems happy and there is very little turnover, which tells you a lot about the management. I wish I could give it more stars.

The care was genuine, the cleanliness was always fresh and clean, communication was excellent.

We checked out this facility, and several others as our loved one's physical and mental health was declining. We chose this facility because it was close to our home, we could visit as often and for as long as we liked. The facility was also very helpful in putting a room together with short notice--even providing add'l chairs and a TV. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good and guests could also eat with residents in the dining hall or resident's room. We would recommend this facility and use it again if the need arose.

Serene Gardens of Imlay City is a wonderful facility. The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful whenever we have needed something. It is a very nice place that I would definitely recommend to other families looking for care for a loved one.

The murals on the wall made it feel peaceful and warm, the staff was very attentive and caring it was a challenge for mom as she had dementia and didn't want to leave her home at [community removed]
