The staff at Provision supported us through one of the most difficult decisions that we have ever had to make. Not only is the staff awesome but the facility is first rate. We feel very blessed to make Provision Living my grandfather's new home.

My Grandfather's good care

I am happy with knowing that the care from this community is very good. We like the staff who are caring and attentive. I have had meals at this community and they are very good. It's nice to know that my grandfather is involved with a lot of activities. I would recommend the care of this community to other families.

Brand new!!

My mother in law has transitioned very well since her move. The cleanliness is great, the place just opened may 1st. The meals are spectacular, they have a great chef. The presentation and dining room has been very elegant, I would highly recommend them to anyone!

A lively and lovely new facility

Moved my parents in a week ago. Staff friendliness and care, and resident friendliness are great. We love the decor and the spaciousness, especially the entrance, bistro, wide/high main hall, and dining area. The location near the bustling life of Clayton, Brentwood, and Richmond Heights, makes it seem much more "alive" than other A.L. facilities we visited. Residents seem quite happy, and the food is very good. I think they could improve a little in communication and organization of information, to make it easier for a senior citizen (who has trouble remembering things) to assimilate and get used to the new routines.

Over the top staff!!

Things are going very well for my loved one since her move into this community. They have a good staff there with low turnover rates. The staff there seem to engage with the residence. I would absolutely recommend this facility to anyone looking because they are accessable, I can talk to them dont have to go through a lot of peopel. The doctor is proactive. The soxialization is the best part for her. They bring her down for meals in her wheelchair and her socializes with the other residents. I have not seen anything I didn't like, the place is clean ad the meals are very good.

I looked at this community when searching for my mother. It was nice and everyone was friendly. The issues I had were it was about 18 miles from my house and it would have difficult to travel that much to see her every day. Also, my mother enjoys walking outside and they offered a walking area but it was on the side of the building next to the parking lot.

A place to call home!

My father loves it here. He is enjoying all of the outings, they took the residents to see the lights at the park. They have a nice restaurant there with great food and a lot of arts and crafts activities. The place is beautiful and very clean. He's been in other communities before and he finally says he has found one that he can call home. When I have eaten with him, a lot of the other residents here have also said that they have moved from other communities and they are happy here.

Understanding and knowledgeable

Things are going very well since my Father has moved to Foothill Village Senior Living. It is a really nice place. The staff is very understanding and knowledgeable. They put potential family members at ease. The residents are very well cared for. It feels more like extended family than staff and other residents. I would rate the friendliness of the staff a six if it were possible.

A Place for Mom put me in touch with the perfect place for Daddy.

I was connected to Provision Living St. Louis Hills through a Place for Mom. When I called, I was in a panic about figuring out how to get my daddy the help that he needed. I have them my specifications and found Provision Living to be the best choice in all categories! My daddy, and our entire family felt welcomed and at home not only by the caring and friendly staff, but also by the friendliness of the other residents. After a week or so, the staff and residents not only knew my daddy, but they knew his family and grandchildren. I would recommend Provision Living to anyone who was looking for top care for their loved one!

This was very good for my husband. However his stay was short as his Alzheimer's disease progressed rapidly with complications and he died on July 23, 2014. I was very pleased with this facility. Now interested in Independent Living

Great place

Our mother is in the memory care unit. Whenever we visit, she is dressed well, her bed made, etc. She cannot do these things by herself any longer. All of the staff is friendly and she always eats all of her meals. Says the food is good. Her room is a great size compared to other places we visited. We think it is a very nice place.

After two weeks of Mom living in the ...

After two weeks of Mom living in the Memory Unit at Provision Living, we are very impressed with the professionalism and loving care she is receiving. The staff are considerate and go out of their way to help the residents. They report that she interacts with them and is settling into her life there. We are very grateful for this new home for Mom.

Worth the Money

The apartment was a good size. The staff was great, for the most part, but there was an issue with the nurse on my sister's first night back from a hospital visit. Initially, the food was great, but then declined somewhat and they served sandwiches a lot more than regular entrees. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for the price. I will add that my sister was discharged and we had a pretty urgent situation and STL Hills went out of their way to accommodate us, even going to do her assessment on a Sunday.

Great facility with wonderful staff

We had a couple of hiccups with move in like the TV box being lost and it taking a while to get it replaced. Overall happy though. Friendly staff and overall an easy process. I would recommend it yes. The only other thing I would say is it is difficult at times to know who to talk to about a concern. There's not really a single consistently available point person so sometimes you have to be persistent. But honestly it was the nicest facility I visited, the most responsive during the application and admissions process, and it seemed the safest and like the best overall service provider.

Friendly staff

Overall, St. Louis Hills assisted living and memory care do their best to make the residence feel as comfortable as possible. The one drawback of the facility is that it seems there is a lot of turnover of employees and that makes for some confusion for my sister.

Friendly staff, decent meals, including housekeeping, laundry and minor health care assistance.....

What we like the most about the community is the proximity to my home, friendliness. More interaction with Residents - initiate contact with resident and promote involvement in activities. Understand all needs big or small and provide assistance. Friendly staff, decent meals, including housekeeping, laundry and minor health care assistance. Not the best facility, but substantial for the cost.

Very Satisfied

Administration staff were professional and easy to reach (especially [name removed]) Front desk staff were very respectful and attentive to our needs. Memory care staff took good care of my mother as well as staff from St. Croix hospice. Facility was nice and clean. Room was good size and clean as well. Food was good. Staff offered activities even though my mother could not participate due to her condition. I would recommend that you visit the facility as the one price for rent and care giving are fixed.

Review for Promenade Senior Living

The price and the location. But she has had quite a time getting rid of a bed sore and no one gave her a shower for at least the first week. They came in one time at 4 o'clock, but she was too tired at that time. I'm quite sure they told her that she could keep her old hospice company, but then they didn't let her after all.
