It's been AWFUL! I'd like to vote negative 10 for each. Since that isn't an option, put a 1 for each. They could improve on Everything. No one responds to calls by resident from room. No one returns my calls inquiring as to my aunt's care. They leave her in the same clothes for 3-4 days. She sleeps in her shoes & day clothes because they don't provide help with dressing. I could go on & on. May report them to Missouri ombudsman.

This is a beautiful community, but their mgmt has high turnover & caregiver turnover was great. The director, marketing director and sales mger all left. Our family was very patient & understanding when there were small issues, we were thankful for the care that was provided. However, there were too many red flags & inconsistent care. As time went on, inexperienced caregivers were hired, given 20 hrs of training and a few shadowing opportunities and then left to figure out how to care for the residents. Even though “care plans” were expected to be followed, this was rarely a common practice. We learned after talking with the temporary mgmt that "lying" is an acceptable behavior of caregivers, it is a way for caregivers to protect themselves from being reported to the State. Mgmt would rather keep employees that lie a few times about not following care plans than hire and train new caregivers. We were told many times there would be on-site training to "fix" the problems. Very sad.

The staff was incompetent, lazy to a degree that was ridiculous. The only thing worse was that the management REFUSED to hold them accountable. The entire facility is run so poorly it’s a joke, but unfortunately because they are supposed to be caring for the elderly and disabled, IT’S NOT FUNNY. When you would ask for help the usual response was”that’s not my job “ They sell you on all the extra care that comes at a hefty price, but unless you are there Everyday and badgering them nothing is done, and even then they usually have an excuse. I have been to many facilities and this by far the wise. They line the memory care patients against the wall in wheelchairs after breakfast and they sit there all day. Asked on several occasions about the TV room and was repeatedly told it was broken. They bought a new TV after a week and somehow the remote went missing, a staff member told me that they usually hid it so the residents don’t lose it, but nobody knew where it was. I could go on but

They don’t do their jobs. I showed up to visit my Grandmother at 3 in the afternoon and she hadn’t eaten, her oxygen was left in the bedroom, and nobody here seems to care. $6k a month for what? It’s absolutely horrendous how little care they provide. Look elsewhere if you actually care about the person you are interested in moving in to Cambrian.

The Grande looks nice on the outside but is a house of horror on the inside. Always short staffed, in addition to having the laziest staff. If your loved one needs memory care, this is NOT the place to go. They mislead you and tell you all these special things they do, however, they do none of it. Residents sit in urine soaked depends, are not regularly showered, wear the same clothes for days, lay in soiled beds and are not watched closely whatsoever. The rooms go days without being cleaned. I have witnessed feces in the bathroom and bed of my relative's room several times, along with the common restroom. The so called activities they try to say take place are so limited and literally a joke. They do hardly anything with the residents but let them sit or wander the halls. They never get to go outside in memory care and not once in past two years went on an outing. Staff disappears. Food is subpar, nothing like described. Management is horrible, especially the administrator.

My parents were in rm [removed]. Every week was a battle from diesel fumes building in room [removed] from the generator outside the window and management did nothing to make them more comfortable but that was not the worse thing. We couldn’t count on Provisions being there for us in our time of need. My Mom fell and broke her hip, had surgery went thru rehab at a different facility and was walking 50 to 100 ft. Mom was released, you would think she would just go back to her home at Provisions but that was not the case. Provisions gave us an ultimatum either we bring in full time skilled nursing care or hospice or she wasn’t allowed to come back. I don’t think anyone should be able to give an ultimatum like that. The facility is not set up to take care of much beyond everyday living & medication. Read the fine print. Please consider this when picking a place for your family, know their needs and understand the facilities limitations. My Mom died 3 days after returning. Management is the problem.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Grande at Laumeier Park and the experience was terrible. The cleanliness, meals and friendliness were poor. The care services, staff, activities and value for cost were terrible. I would not recommend The Grande at Laumeier Park to anyone. Not a good experience for our family or our loved one.

Our experience at The Grande was terrible. Sadly, my dad died after being there for two months. He was on the Memory Care floor. Supervision was extremely poor. There are significant staffing needs, and the leadership does not have the respect of the workers because the workers do not follow their directions. We dealt with a different issue almost every day. The room was not cleaned, our dad's clothes were not cleaned, and/or my dad had not eaten. Because the supervision was extremely poor, clothing and food were always taken from my dad's room. My dad had his own issues, so he is not innocent, but with better leadership and staffing the supervision would surely improve. We would never recommend someone to take a family member to The Grande at Laumeier Park. It looks like a great place on the outside and does look nice inside, as well. The issue is their care for residents, leadership, staffing, and supervision. Especially on the Memory Care floor.

The lack of communication at this facility is absolutely ridiculous. There is no one ever available to assist you. You have to wait between 10 to 15 minutes to find someone who works there to let you back onto the elevator to leave. My friend never has anything to drink in her room. They dont help with bathing or care of any kind. They would have to be called numerous times for someone to return a phone call. The nurse named [name removed] has the worse bedside manor I've ever seen. She is clearly burnt out and has no empathy toward the residents in her care. It's absolutely sad the amount you are charging compared to the care you are giving .

Please don’t send your loved ones here. They make so many promises and don’t come close to taking proper care of their patients. Meds are given incorrectly, they don’t answer the call button when patients press it for help. Prices are incredibly higher than they quote you before moving in. In the 11 months my parents were there, they went through numerous directors, directors of nursing and caregivers.

Memory care floor is awful. If a resident provides a little challenge they ship them over to SLU for evaluation and/ or to medicate them. After spending about 10 days out of 2 months in the facility they still charged us for the entire time, despite the fact that they kept shipping her out and told us we had to hire around the clock care to live with her upon her return. I read other reviews on Facebook saying how they were being charged for up to two months after their loved one passed away. I would strongly urge you to explore other options. They only care about the bottom line.
