Kaplan Development

We chose Butler Street because of the flexible choice of the level of care. They have a fixed rate for the apartment and up to 5 different levels of care ranging from minimal/none to dementia care that requires full supervision and daily assistance. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

The community is very clean, the staff members have been great and when it comes to the care services they wait on our loved one hand and foot. She is extremely happy with the meals and dining service, that she really enjoys. They have a very nice activities director there that does a great job keeping the folks busy, our loved one has now kind of became her right hand man. The value for cost is about average compared to other places we checked out.

It is a great community, probably better for people that are healthy. The food isn't enjoyed by my loved one as much as it could be. There is good variety of food available. The staff have been very friendly to work with.

I chose Bentley Commons mostly due to the location. My apartment size is good for what I need, but they do have options of different sizes as well. I have found that the food is very hit or miss. I do think the facility itself needs some updating but I would recommend them to others who are looking.

The activity selections were nice and it was awesome to know that there was an exercise physiologist on staff. My mom felt it seemed more like assistive living vs independent living when she walked in. This facility has both assistive and independent living however assistive living is on the first floor (for safety) but was the most visible. Having this mix did have other benefits such as access to medical services. Staff were super I e a d invited us back to try some activities or a meal.

Overall the community seems to be good and is very neat and clean. The staff is very friendly and kind. I would like to see better communication between the staff and our family. I would recommend this community to others.

We really liked the location it was very close to home, as well as the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are on the smaller side. My aunt is Caribbean and she said they don't have to much of a variety of food to choose from. When we moved her in, some things were not forth coming, for example we were never told we were responsible for her medication.

We chose All American Assisted Living because it was closest to home. The room sizes are decent compared to others. I have eaten here and the food is excellent, they have a lot of variety and my husband hasn't complained about the food at all. The staff friendly and great at communication. My favorite part about this community would be the friendliness of the staff and how they are always willing to help. If my husband is having a problem and I call, they are on it. I would recommend.

Before COVID, the community was great, they have been awesome about things such as regulations and cleanliness, etc. I am more concerned about the mental health that I've watched my mother and other residents that are here struggling with due to the lock-down and lack of socialization. They tend to leave my mother for long periods of times because she is in a wheelchair. The meals are in Styrofoam containers. The residents seem to be very lonely. I love the facility as far as the space, but at the other facilities I toured recently they are getting to socialize. I think they need to be a little more creative and open more things up at Bentley Commons.

The community was always very clean and the building was brand new. The staff was all very caring and very loving. After she fell, the staff showed a lot of concern and compassion to my mother. The activities director took up a special relationship with my mother and showed so much care to her it was wonderful. They were always checking on her and would come in and visit with her to her room. They were also very accommodating with my mother's schedule and they kept her very active. She really spent a lot of time with the other residents and spent hardly any time in her room! They played bingo often and would take suggestions from the residents as to what they wanted to do. They also made sure to get the residents outdoors and off-community if they wanted. They did bump the price in the beginning without telling us, however we did think given the level of care they were offering All American was a good value.

Overall, the community is pretty clean. The staff do their best to accommodate for the residents needs and they do a good job on getting on the level for the residents. My mother is a Covid-19 survivor and the staff has been incredible with accommodating for her needs and have answered all my questions and addressed concerns that I have had. They have also done a good job with providing with some of her agitated behaviors since her release from the hospital.

We toured three times before moving in and it was a very positive experience. My parents have been quarantined for 98% of there time since moving in but are handling it very well. The community is great about following up with us and calling us. My parents enjoy the food and have liked the activities especially bingo. Mom has dementia and Dad is Assisted Living they are in the same unit. Have not been able to do much of the programs with memory care during the quarantine. All American is really on top of things and developing new programs and activities. They celebrate everyone's Birthday. The activity calendar includes a lot to do, walking clubs, lunch outing etc. I think my parents will really enjoy all the opportunities to do activities outside of the community when the quarantine is over.

Very nice facility with attentive staff from what I observed. The traditional assisted living has great programs. My focus was on the memory care unit, which is limited to 24 residents. Which is great for staffing. I am considering this for my dad.

the majority of rooms are double occupancy. very few rooms are wheelchair accessible. It's not open yet (2/5/19). High Community Fee $4,000. Pretty, hotel like. Really like that pt and ot are included and encouraged. low care fees but higher room/board fees.

Very clean, caring staff,menu looked great, breakfast served all, cafe area was happening, not many attended activities. Staff knew all by name, very attentive. Services included. Shared rooms. Not very full.

The staff are helpful, however there is not anyone at the front desk after eight in the evening. Sometimes it is hard to reach someone. Some of the residents have said they are not crazy about the food. They do offer daily activities and the community is taken care of. They do not charge separately for different levels of care as the cost is all inclusive. I would recommend this community.

My husband is settling in quite well at All American Assisted Living at Warwick. Even though he still asks to come home with me I feel so good when I walk in unannounced and he is working with groups of residents fully engaged. I feel that is good for him they are taking good care of him and all of his care needs that he cannot handle on his own. The environment is very clean and well-kept. He has his own room and a shared bathroom with one other resident in a room adjoined. They also have a shared sitting room with a T. V. in it. We provided his furniture for his room and it is very homey. They do laundry once a week so he always has clean clothes. They have a list of activities that the staff encourages the residents to participate. They provide outside activities such as day trips to the park and to restaurants. There is a little courtyard in the memory care section that is secure and they can sit and enjoy the sun and the garden and fresh air. They have a dining area that can sit to up to four at a table to engage with other residents, not like some of the memory care places with the long institutional tables. I feel satisfied that they are taking care of him at all times.

My father is well here in this community. I do feel comfortable with his move here, he is doing well. This is a nice community with a great staff. The community is very well-kept, everything looks great when I visit. The staff is caring,and helpful whenever needed. The experience is going well for us in this community.

When we toured All American Assisted Living, we thought it seemed like they just opened. They needed to get their ducks in a row, The facility itself was very nice, but they were short staffed and did not have many residents. It was not what we were looking for.

I toured this community for my sister, and her needs. My tour went well, everyone was kind. The community looked nice, and well-kept. The staff I came across was friendly. It was a good experience, but it wasn't the one for us.
