My only real complaint is their management staff turned over a lot . Every time i would build a good relationship with someone they would leave. That made it harder to stay involved. The other thing i would say is I don't think there is a perfect place. No one is going to care about your loved one the way you do. You have to accept that.

Harmony at Elkhart is a quiet, clean community with kind and caring staff. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

This is my first time needing a facility of this nature for a loved one and the experience has been excellent. Though I was surprised that I would need to furnish the room - make it like home - for her, once I settled down, it was easy. We went to my sister's home and brought as many items as we could to make her feel comfortable in a room that is just the right size for her. The facility is located about 10 minutes from my home and the proximity has certainly made it easy for us to visit, drop off things and take her to doctor's appointments with ease. I believe Harmony has provided the best care possible for my sister. They have been responsive to my concerns as well as her needs. I feel she is safe and well taken care of.

The staff is exceptional. They make the residents and guests feel welcome and supported. I would recommend Harmony at Kent to others.

I will say Harmony is a good choice for us. I actually looked at Harmony before choosing [community removed] but my husband was more stable and not in a wheelchair. By July he was a perfect candidate for Harmony Memory Care. Most are wheelchair or using walkers. Very few able to walk alone. The memory care is on the first floor so only a code to get in and out. They are not moved to another area during the day like at [community removed]. Capacity 24 but only 17 at present. They served plenty and also snacks. They have choice as well.

What stood out most are the clean facilities, friendly administration and support staff along with strong activity scheduling make this a great choice for my 89 year old Aunt.

The facility is very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and positive. The residents and staff all seem content and are friendly with each other. It is a nice atmosphere.

Everyone is helpful and friendly. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Great l like it here so far, rooms are large food is good and so far things are good well. Thank you for checking on me the only thing I wish it was not so costly. [price removed] a month is a lot to pay.

It is a great community. My parents moved into assisted living July of 2024. The staff there helped my dad take care of my mom and helped him make the decision to move her to memory care when he couldn't take care of her anymore. She recently passed away and the care staff did an incredible job of working with hospice to keep her comfortable until the end. My Dad now lives in independent living there and enjoys the food and friendships he has found. The staff and people living there now feel like a family to him.

5 for all. Assisted Care is expensive though. The whole staff does everything possible to make mom feel "loved". From maintenance, nursing, activities offered and food choices are all positive and uplifting. I'm pleased that there isn't a high turn over of staff also.

Kept very clean, staff very friendly, great activities, my aunt really enjoys them. She complains about the food, also the kitchen help doesn't stay long. But that's the usual everywhere now, short staffed. Maybe not enough pay. My biggest complaint is administrative staff, has been a huge turnover a number of times in just one year that she's been there. They don't return your calls, but I guess if you're new on the job, don't know much. My aunt complains about all the changes all the time with staff.

The workers at Harmony at Hope Mills are diligent and kind to [name removed]. The meals are good and nutritious. She has found a friend and is adjusting well . i’m pleased with care once a month they have a very special event with them to attend. I think it is the best assisted living in the area.

Very clean and friendly. Not over stated-feels more homey. Not pushy!!! The residents are all lovely and welcoming.

Administration and maintenance are outstanding. They are always ready to help! She doesn't participate in many activities except Bingo.

Harmony at Independence has been a godsend for my family. My Dad is very happy as a resident. Harmony keeps me informed, the facility is well maintained. All of the staff have been on point and very friendly. My father initially moved in as an Assisted Living resident, and it soon became apparent that he needed to be moved into Memory Care. Harmony helped seamlessly transition my dad from AL to MC. I feel the staff treats my father well; like a family member. I am very pleased with Harmony at Independence.

When my dad was struggling physically & mentally after hip surgery and the move into Harmony, the staff would contact me or my siblings to give us updates on how dad was progressing. As we deal with his medications & pain killers, the med techs encouraged us to be patient with dad's progress; it was going to take time. He was physically doing very well in PT & OT, but it was going to take healing & time for him psychologically. We had meals with dad often at the beginning; the selections for lunch & dinner were quite nice, but breakfast left a lot to be desired. The activities are awesome!! There is a huge variety of offerings for the artistic, garden lovers, brain and word games, worship services, performers, movie nights; motivating my dad to try a few activities has been a challenge; the Harmony aids have tried to get him to pick and go to one or two activities each week. He is reluctantly trying a few and enjoying them. Harmony may not be the perfect fit for everyone, but it has been awesome for our family and we think he's finally feeling at home.

Would like to see more fruit at breakfast, I have no experience with lunch or dinner. The staff are caring, consistent and flexible.
