Excellent.

This beautiful community has been my home since [year removed]. This is the 1st senior living community. I have been living in. We have activities and communities I create new opportunities. There is a wellness center for exercise.

Sommerset is a remarkable and welcoming retirement community of talented and friendly Senior Citizens whose backgrounds are always interesting and are sometimes amazing. The cleanliness of the common areas of the community is readily apparent and the furnishings are fitting and comfortable. The staff members are excellent in what they do in all aspects of the living experience including housekeeping in individual apartments, preparing and providing meals, decorating for special holidays, providing entertainment such as music by individuals or groups, lectures on special topics, and Movie Nights with refreshments. Throughout the year special celebrations and outings are provided including monthly birthday parties, a trip to the Casino in West Virginia, weekly outings to a local restaurant for lunch, and gatherings for special days such as Easter, July Fourth, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's Eve. Transportation is provided by the Community's bus for shopping in local grocery stores and other retail stores as well as for appointments with physicians, dentists, and other health related professionals. Overall, Sommerset provides stress-free independent living in retirement.

After viewing 6 communities, my family and I decided Sommerset's ambience as well as friendliness of residents and staff felt most comfortable for my needs. I have been very happy here, enjoy the meals and feel we are getting the best value for our money.

Living at Sommerset is a wonderful experience. The management and staff are professional, personable and most of all, caring. Retirement is stress free. The Sommerset community is the best in Virginia.

I have been here for over a year. The staff is helpful and friendly. This is a very welcoming place. The residents are friendly and take an interest in new residents, helping them feel welcomed. This is a comfortable, low-key residence, which I particularly like. The apartment units are generously-sized with lots of storage.

I find everything good, the food, the service, all the help I ever need is easy to come by.

Staff is wonderful-from front desk to cleaning staff. Always cheerful and very helpful. Building is well maintained and always clean. Dining staff is efficient, nice, and all well groomed and clean.

TerraBella has been a perfect fit for my sister. It has taken her sometime to get adjusted living in a senior center only because of her personality. But, she is now starting to join in with some of the other residents and activities. The staff has been fantastic from the director to the care takers. They are most attentive to my sister's needs. I highly recommend it and I can give it an excellent rating. Please tell [Name Removed] (my advisor from A Place for Mom) that I couldn't have found a better place for my sister. Everyone in my family that has visited my sister gives the center great reviews.

I moved after my husband died to be near my children. I visited 6 or more places. They were either too expensive, rooms were too small for the price, or the staff was disrespectful. Sommerset is the price I could afford. The front desk staff, cleaning, maintenance and dining room staffs are respectful, efficient, helpful and friendly. Services are provided fast. It is secure and safe. They have a lot of activities including exercise, crafts, games, visiting musical groups and trips.

I visited Sommerset about a year before I decided I needed to find a place where I would feel safe and be part of a close community. I had been living in an apartment for 55+ seniors all living independently. It was several months before I saw another pers ton. As my health started causing me problems I felt more isolated and worried there wouldn’t be anyone available to help me. Sommerset Retirement Community has been the perfect choice for me; all staff are welcoming and caring, residents also reached out to welcome me . I immediately felt part of the community and could let go of my worry that I would be alone when I needed help.

We are enjoying it! The people have been super nice. The staff have been wonderful. They have plenty of good activities, and we've enjoyed the events. It's a good place to live. We have one neighbor we don't care for, but out of 100 apartments, that's pretty good.

Overture Ridgmar is probably the best 55+ apartment complex in the city of Ft. Worth. From the underground parking garage to the large apartments there is no match close. alos you will not meet a better group of people than the men and women living here. Everyone is friendly, pleasant and helpful. I feel comfortable calling on any of them at any time. The staff is great and seem very anxious to please the residents and meet all of our expectaitons. There are lots of excitng activities going on and you are free to join in whenever you please or not. up to you. if you are looking for a really ACTIVE 55+ community, Overture Ridgmar should be the first, and last, place yoju look!!!

The staff know my name and greet me each time. They offer activities that appeal to me and are flexible with my schedule to welcome new residents. The repairman is prompt in repairing any problem with my apartment. The residents enjoy the food and special meals for hoherlidays. There are religious meetings, bingo and trivia get togethers are offered. I have enjoyed my porch for enjoying the nature. The building is kept clean. It has been a joy to live here for five years.

Environment is very pristine; and staff and residents are very friendly. Response to maintenence requests are completed in a very timely and efficient manner. The front desk staff is very professional and very friendly. The overall ambiance is one of peace and tranquility. The location is great.....tucked away away between beautiful trees and shrubs in a very inviting neighborhood. Numerous events/activities are arranged on a monthly basis to meet the varied interests of residents. Highly recommend the Sommerset as a wonderful 55+ Community!

I received all the comfort of home at a place so liveable. Their amenities all are faveted as Great. The food, yum, yum, their services are too rewarding. I'm so relaxed living here for close by are grocery stores, restaurants, and big box stores

Moved to Summerset over two years ago, and this was the best choice that I’ve ever made. I’m 95, and I enjoy each moment being here. Ideal place to complete my last miles of this my earthly journey.Happy Happy! Joy Joy!

We came to Sommerset this past spring out of necessity due to my mom's failing health and inability to stay in her two story home. After researching a few places, we made the appointment with Wendy and she was very kind to my mom and showed her several ground floor units. I kept telling my mom it was HER choice in a retirement home but immediately we could tell she felt welcome and liked the warm and friendly environment. Not only has my mom's health improved, she has gained many new friends and is the Bingo queen every week. My mom now calls Sommerset "home" and that is truly the best experience we could have wished for.
