We are so lucky to have this facility in our town.

I loved this community, they try to keep people as long as possible but it was more nursing home than lively due to how long some of the residents have been here. The tour experience was great.

Our family had an in person tour and everyone we spoke with was nice and helpful, but we just did not think at the time this was going to be a good fit.

Our loved one so far seems to really be enjoying the meals and dining service. She also is really enjoying all the activities the community has to offer. The cleanliness of Heritage Woods and friendliness of the staff really stood out to us. Also this community does offer Medicaid.

I really liked Gull Creek. All of the places I toured were pretty equivalent, so in the end it just came down to price.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are very helpful and make it pleasurable to be there. The activities could be more childlike in the memory care area for the residents to participate more.

I love this place

This was a nice community with bigger apartments. They didn't have an open concept outdoors.

They are fantastic. It looks and feels just like a home. The food is good, and my mom talks about it all the time. I have no complaints, and neither does my loved one. The staff are very good at keeping you informed of your loved one. They do Zoom meetings once a month for the family to keep us up-to-date. They also have a portal you can use to ask questions, or find out what is going on with your loved one. They even offered to do Facetime calls during lock down due to COVID

My loved one just did not care for this community. It just did not give her the right feel that she was looking for. The tours were excellent and thorough. The community looked clean its just did not fit my loved one.

My Mom has lived at Heritage Woods for about a year and likes it very much. She has a 1 br apt & has her cat with her. The CNA's are very caring & they & the nursing staff have always notified me right away if Mom needed anything.

Our family had an in person tour set up but once the doctor advised our loved one needed memory care we did not tour this community because it was only assisted living and independent living. However the people spoke with were very lovely, and very forth coming. We felt if we had any questions even if we weren't moving our loved in, that they would be very helpful and accommodating.

I would recommend this community to any friend or relative. I have been treated with kindness and respect. Maintenance and housekeeping issues are handled quickly.

This place is amazing! I can still have freedom and get help!

The rooms are big, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The activities are off the wall, they get to do such a wide assortment of activities. The housekeepers are so efficient and helpful. Dietary does a great job with meals. Absolutely enjoyed my walk through the building. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have lived here for about a year and a half. I have enjoyed it immensely. Very friendly people live and work here. I recommend it for people 65 years old and older. We get three meals a day plus snacks. We get activities that are great. We have exercise programs for 45 minutes at least 2 times a week. There is also bingo and occasionally we will get entertainment from the community. That is great and very enjoyable. We have sing a longs and bell choir. During the holidays, the staff is wonderful in surprising us with different kinds of activities that we don't do on a regular basis. We also have someone come in to do chair yoga with us. To me, it is a great place to live. The staff is very helpful.

We are so impressed with how clean they are able to keep the community with the amount of people they have there. We are so thrilled that our loved one is there, it took her a little while to adjust but they worked with her. She feels very safe and comfortable. The staff are very knowledgeable and the value is all inclusive.

The community is very clean and very nice, it is a little worn down but they have started to give it some fresh paint. The staff members are very nice and attentive. Every time our loved one pushes her call button they come right away.

My wife and I have enjoyed living here at Heritage Woods of Charleston Illinois. Everyone is so kind and helpful to us. We receive the nursing help we need, three meals a day, apartment cleaning weekly, and wonderful staff.

I have lived here a little over two years and I couldn’t be happier with living here. The CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary staff are all so kind and helpful. I would recommend this community to anyone!
