I recently visited Colonial Assisted Living to see my mother and I was genuinely moved by the atmosphere the moment I walked in. The staff greeted me with such warmth, like I was family too, and it was clear they knew every resident by name and by heart. I watched a staff member take the time to chat and laugh with an elderly gentleman in the garden, unhurried even though she clearly had a busy schedule. The whole place has this gentle, unhurried energy, residents chatting over coffee, staff checking in with genuine affection rather than just going through the motions. You can tell the Staff here don't just do their jobs, they truly love the people they care for. I left feeling so reassured, knowing my Mother is somewhere that treats her with real tenderness and dignity every single day

I was the social services manager at Medicana Nursing and rehab. I referred several patients to the facility. You guys were very helpful and made the process very easy. The families were appreciative and I had no complaints.

This facility was clean, well lit residents were smiling and enjoying their surroundings. The residents were clean and just seemed that they were having excellent care.

I am a social worker with Vitas and have several patients in the past that have been at colonial. The residents were very happy with the facility and felt that they got wonderful care. The good ones that they never complained about the food! I had patience that were placed with other families, and they felt that the rooms were kept clean and quiet

The staff was in contact with the family. The family was aware of members progress and objective to have the member return home. The family was very pleased with the services received.
