The entire staff at Colonial Oaks is wonderful. From the executive director to the nurses, therapists, CNAs, housekeeping, maintenance team, and even the cook, there is a genuine sense of warmth and caring throughout the facility. The staff members don’t simply provide care—they interact with the residents in a fun, friendly, and compassionate way. My mother truly enjoys their fun-loving nature, the many activities they create, and the outside entertainment they bring in to enrich the residents’ lives. Communication has also been excellent. Management, nurses, and staff are responsive, approachable, and open to feedback. Colonial Oaks has created a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for my mother. Finding the right place for someone you love isn’t easy, and I feel truly blessed to have found Colonial Oaks for her.

My mom was a resident at Colonial Oaks at Rockwall for several years. Their care was excellent in all aspects. They provided a clean supervised environment for her while she dealt with a failing memory and function. Their staff at all levels are kind and loving in their approach to all their residents from what I observed.

They have many activities planned throughout the day which keep the residents engaged and the staff seem to genuinely be engaged with the residents and care for their success.

My husband was put here cause he is on hospice care. He has Gliobastoma, his time is short. We have been here 2 weeks and I have met a lot of great, caring people. Not only do they have concern for my husband’s needs but they always ask if I need anything.

My momma has only been at Colonial for 5 months, I but couldn’t be happier with the care she has received. They made this transition so easy for her, and all of the employees welcomed her with open arms, which means so much to me as her daughter. I love that they provide activities every day to keep her engaged and involved. From the very beginning, everyone was so patient, kind, and helpful. I had a good feeling about Colonial from the start, and they have continued to exceed my expectations. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place to others. Thank you, Colonial, for loving and caring for my momma as if she were your own. It truly means the world to our family.

My Mom has resided in Colonial Oaks Springhill since February 2026. The staff is truly phenomenal. The facility is nice and everyone is very helpful and communicative. Highly recommend this facility.

I frequently visit this facilty and have nothing but good things to say. As a Healthcare worker myself, I frequent many places. There are very few facility's I would put my family member in, but this is one facilty I would.

The memory unit is 8 bedrooms. Its perfect for my mother. The staff cares about her. The food is good. It smells good The minute you walk in. It would be nice to have more activities for memory care. Empower me wellness is a great asset as well.

My mother in law moved back to Kansas from Florida. This was a big move and her first time moving out of her daughter's home. The staff at Colonial Oaks put there heart and soul into helping us move her in. An expected difficult transition went very well. Our trust in the Lord as a family consider Colonial Oaks a God send for us. Now that she has lived in her apartment for a year she is approaching 97 yrs and is happy and has great appreciation for the staff. Family visits are wonderful and there have been no complaints.

What I was looking for was a place closer to my home, cleanness of the facility, nice friendly staff and the affordable of the facilities and care and safety for my wife. I found all the things I was looking for and chose Colonial Oaks.

We are extremely happy with the service that we get from this facility. The staff is wonderful. The Management is wonderful and they take great care of my mom. They’re very communicative with her care and call me whenever anything is needed. The facility takes care of all of our needs and the staff is very personable and caring.
