[Name Removed] apartment has always been immaculate whenever I visit, including bathroom. He seems to enjoy most of his meals and he has a couple of gentleman that he enjoys being with. He doesn't engage in a lot of social activities, but at 91 he still drives and is an avid reader. As of today their is nothing negative that I would want to say.

Staff is always friendly, he loves the food and has began to gain weight again. He had lost 40 when my mother got sick. His room looks clean and he is very happy with the laundry service. He has made friends and has began to get involved with the Wednesday outings.

The staff has been wonderful and caring, from administration to aides. Yes, we would recommend Charter Senior Living of Hermitage to others

There could be more variety in the food but they are working on it. The room size is good and plenty of storage if you work at it. You must downsize your furniture. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for themselves or a loved one.

I had the privilege of volunteering to play the guitar at Southern Pines Memory Care, and it was such a heartwarming experience. Seeing the residents laughing, smiling, and singing along made my day. What stood out most was watching the staff hold residents' hands, sing with them, and genuinely participate in the activities. Their compassion, patience, and love for the residents were evident in every interaction. If I ever needed memory care for myself or a loved one, Southern Pines Memory Care would be my first choice. It's clear that this is more than just a care community—it's a place where residents are truly loved and valued.

My uncle made the difficult decision to move my aunt to Southern Pines Memory Care after two previous facilities were unable to meet her needs. We were nervous and unsure of what to expect, but the difference has been incredible. When she first arrived, she stayed in her room, wouldn't eat with others, and refused to socialize. She also resisted bathing and often went days without allowing anyone to help her. After just two weeks at Southern Pines Memory Care, she has completely blossomed. She is watching football, attending tailgate parties, laughing with other residents, and participating in activities. Even more importantly, she now trusts the caregivers enough to let them assist with her personal care. Seeing my aunt happy, engaged, and truly living again has been such a blessing. The staff's patience, compassion, and dedication have made all the difference. We are so grateful for the loving care she receives every day. The people who work there treat my dad with care. Also, I love abroad and really appreciate their Facebook updates - I can see the activities and thing a he does. I would definitely recommend to others

It is an awesome place! Mom loves it there. She has had some lucid moments, and said that she loves the food, lemonade, and all of the people that work there. The Charter staff loves Mom. It is worth every penny spent to see Mom happy. Definitely would recommend to others.

My mom is currently in assisted living. I toured your facility to see if it would be somewhere she may like. There were a couple of issues she may not approve of. I don't know if she would like the studio layout, and also likes to have her meals in her room due to mobility issues. We have decided to move our father here. We were treated well. The place is very clean and professional. The residents appear to be happy and engaged.

They're great. It's clean, they have good food, nice people and feels like a real community.

So my aunt moved to Southern Pines, March 2025. She has been there over a year now and with her move into memory care and with the care of [name removed] and many of the staff there she has now become more confident and more comfortable in her settings. Before she was in her room day and night and now she comes out and interacts with others and participates and seems to be doing well. I am very happy with her progress and find comfort with her caregivers.

They are definitely warm and welcoming. They're very engaged personally with the residence. In general, the place smelled very clean. The on boarding could've been improved in that. It felt a little bit clustered and disorganized. That however, was compensated by their very accommodating nature towards the residence and their families.

Everyone from the administration to the staff has been super friendly and helpful and I feel she is in very good hands. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

I recently visited my father at Southern Pines, where he has been a resident for a year and a half, I can’t give enough praise for the Southern Pines staff for the job they do, [name removed] and her staff work tirelessly to make sure everyone is taken care of, it takes special people to do what they do every day and they surely are that. Our family sleeps so much better now knowing our dad is so well taken care of again thanks to Southern Pines and there caring staff.
