We were so impressed as soon as we walked in the door! The layout is spacious and inviting. The hallway is wide and there are handrails on both sides. [name removed] has the studio size apartment, which is large enough for a bedroom side and a sitting area with chairs, a recliner and a small table with chairs. She has two closets and a space for a small refrigerator. The bathroom is large enough for a wheelchair and any assistant she may need. The dining room is very pleasant with a view of the private lake . There is a large covered patio with fans for sitting and enjoying being outside. The food is good and they have a menu for alternatives to the featured meal. Best of all, the staff are so good! Everyone seems to genuinely care about the residents and they answer my questions and address any concerns. We are so glad that she could live there!

My dad's budget might not be the right fit for Cedarhurst and we're still working on logistics and timing for our situation, but I would be very pleased to have my dad as a resident there.

However, they didn't provide the homing feeling.
