Brookdale

I met with senior staff and enjoyed a few meals at the dining room. The food was excellent and the staff were super friendly, respectful and responsive. My sister and I had a private meeting with [name removed](GM) and [name removed](assistant GM) regarding a unique situation with my mother's stay and we were extremely satisfied with the outcome of the meeting. All around a great visit.

The staff was excellent. Very kind to father in law. The meals were good and on time. He did not do a lot of activities because of his dementia. They keep us up to date on his condition so when he got Pneumonia at the end we got him to the hospital and he did not suffer.

Very caring people doing their best for the residents in their care!!!!

It is not perfect, but has some of the best caregivers who really want to work with senior citizens. But, be prepared because you will not get to sit and soak. Brookdale has a busy schedule from exercise to trips to Bingo. It occurs to me (after a year at Brookdale!) that I have failed to thank A Place for Mom for finding this place for me. It made the transition for me so much easier.

I looked at a lot of communities in the Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Wayland and Newton area. Brookdale remained the number one pick for what our family needed. Brookdale was so understanding & so kind to us. My sister did not end up moving in there because of her health condition, but we had secured & paid for an apt at Brookdale TWICE & had to cancel twice. They were very forgiving & we were refunded in full. They even called every couple weeks to check up on my sister & inquire how she was feeling. They went above & beyond with everything. And my sister loved the apt, when she had toured. They were much nicer than other places we looked at.

I'm very pleased with Brookdale High Point North. They are nice, attentive caregivers. Administration is always available to answer any questions.

I like the people who work there every single one is so friendly and welcoming. It truly is a community. And some of the residents are very friendly. I like the meals and the transportation the housekeeping staff and the laundry facilities. It's been a godsend for my sister in law who is becoming more and more limited in her disability. She is very fortunate to live here.

I can't say enough good things about Brookdale Lakewood. I'm just sorry my sister had such a short stay there. She has passed away. I will recommend it to everyone I come in contact with that needs an assisted living home.

Brookdale is a little smaller and more intimate than the other facilities we toured, which seemed to make my elderly parent more comfortable. We were impressed by the food service and we appreciated our chat with the head chef. The facility has had a little bit of leadership turnover, but we like the new Director and Healthcare leader. The new activities coordinator is enthusiastic and engaged, and she’s taken the time to talk with my parent to get to know him and try and tailor some activities for him specifically. In general, we’re pleased with the room, and the service. Currently, my parent is in the Assisted Living wing, but there is a secure memory care wing. We felt it would be less disruptive to him if he eventually has to move to that level of care.

My father is a resident. The staff went out of their way to welcome him. They check on him regularly and he wears a call button which he can use to summon staff if needed. There are many different activities. They asked my father what he enjoyed doing and made sure he was accommodated. There are several common areas for socializing. I am very pleased with the care my father is receiving.

We recently moved my father-in-law to Brookdale and couldn’t be happier. The facility is nice and comfortable and the staff have been great. Everyone has been very welcoming to him and have been super helpful during this transition. So glad we chose Brookdale!

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Brookdale North Augusta, particularly the employees. The facility is newly updated and feels like home. The staff are the most kind and helpful people I have encountered in this space. I know my parents are being well cared for and having their needs met by wonderful people.

When we first walked in the front door I felt at home. Mom was hesitant but [name removed] got her to talk about herself. I was very impressed with the tour. Brookdale is a very nice community. Then mom learned her friend lived there and that was a plus! [name removed] was very informative & answered all of my questions! She was very helpful with the pricing of the studio we picked. We looked at other communities, but we felt the size of Brookdale’s studio was the best. [name removed] was always available by phone or text. I would highly recommend Brookdale to anyone. It’s like being on vacation or at a camp where something is going on at all times. My mom has acclimated and fit in so well thanks to the residents who have been so nice. Staff is excellent & helpful as well.

I'm delighted with Brookdale Chambrel's services for my brother. I also greatly appreciate the communication between Brookdale and myself.[name removed] has been great to work with also.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I completely trust them to care for my father. The staff that comes to clean his room does a wonderful job. My dad doesn't participate in the activities but the tenants seem to really enjoy them. They are really good about keeping them informed on what is happening. He loves the food! For the most part it is homemade and flavorful. Their daily selections change and they have a wonder variety. My sister said she can see herself there when/if the time comes.

We are very happy with the Brookdale Union Park. The staff are kind and friendly. They have various activities and encourage residents and family to participate. The activity director is wonderful. The food is good, cleanliness is good.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to have my mom move into Brookdale. It has truly been a blessing for our entire family. Since moving in, my mom has absolutely blossomed. She is more active and engaged than she has been in years and has made so many new friends. She loves being able to take the bus and exercise. The staff and caregivers are what truly make this place special. They are highly professional but also incredibly warm, patient, and compassionate. When my mom presses her call button someone responds very promptly. The value for the cost is outstanding especially considering the quality of the care, the meals and the variety of amenities and activities offered. It provides all the comfort and security we wanted for her without the large financial burden. I would recommend Brookdale to any family looking for a caring, active and affordable independent living community for their loved one. It is a five-star experience.

They listen and try to bridge gaps. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale Tyler South to other families based on the experience so far.

Our mother recently passed and we were looking for a safe, comfortable “home” for our 92 year old father. Brookdale Lexington was not only a convenient solution, but fit the bill for comfort and care. I love when I call my father and he says,”I’m in paradise.” Brookdale Lexington has offered a caring atmosphere for our grieving father. Everyone, the pleasant staff and friendly clients, has made him feel at home. He loves the food and the relaxing dining atmosphere. He enjoys his outside strolls and rocking in the warm sunlight on the front porch. This is not an institution or facility. Brookdale is a home away from home. We are so thankful. It really gives us peace of mind.
