Brookdale

I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and caring the staff interact with the residents. It was relieving to see how they care for each resident pertaining to their individual needs and or wishes. They offer a wide range of acitivities that residents can take part in to their own desire. Even meals are prepared for individual needs. My father has been in Brookdale since July of this year and although any kind of change like this is especially hard for people with memory issues, Brookdale goes to great efforts to help their residents ease into the change of home. The manager and or head nurse reach out to me regularly just to check in or to answer any questions and give report of change. I spent many days there visiting my father and was overwhelmed with the warmheartedness with which the staff and management care for all of their resididents. I know my father is in good hands. Thank you!

Lovely small community. People seemed to be happy and well taken care of. Loved the outside porches. We went at lunchtime. The food looked and smelled good. Rooms were bigger than I expected. Left with lots of information. They are in the top of my list.

I recently went to vist my great aunt that hasn't been in community long. I was instantly impressed at not only rhe cleanliness of the building, but the atmosphere itself. The caregivers are so nice and take pride in their work. The ED [name removed] is very pleasant, the nurse [name removed] is very attentive and knowledgeable. All of the staff that I encountered while I was visiting were super nice and helpful. If you have a loved one who needs assisted living, Brookdale Forest City is the place to take them.

My friend wanted nothing to do with senior living, it was a fight to get her to try it. She loves it here and is always busy with activities & her new friends. The people that work here are so kind and care for the people who live here. I highly recommend..

Brookdale Forest City is felt like home when I went to visit my friend. I can understand why he loves it so much there. The Boss [name removed], the nurse [name removed], and the sales manager [name removed] are very informative and pleasant to speak with. You can tell they love the residents. [name removed] at the front desk is amazing. I was told she has been there for a very long time. All of the staff are pleasant and caring towards the residents. I came in when they were having karoake in the dining room with all the residents. It was a praise and worship karoake like I have never seen before. This just proved to me that this home is where my friend needed to be.

I can not say enough about the community at Brookdale Forest City. The ED [name removed], the sales manager [name removed], and the HWD [name removed] are amazing. All of the staff at Brookdale are amazing. I had lunch with a friend of the family and the food was great. The residents are very friendly and my friend is very pleased with the care from the staff. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, Brookdale Forest City is the place.

Staff worked out a great price. Everyone is quite friendly. My mom loves it there, and made a lot of friends and participates in a lot of activities. She loves the food options that they have. They didn't have a single apartment available at the time and allowed her to stay in a two bed/2 bath until a 1 bed was available. Nice people from all the workers to management. Couldn't be happier .

I am very happy here. My room is very nice and big. The activities are great, church services, bingo, manicures and so much more. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall I am very happy living here and would recommend others to live here as well.

The staff and the residents make a family. I am very happy here. The room are nice and cozy and I like my room. I have just enough space, if I had more space I would need more furniture. I love my patio and so does my cat.

The rooms here are nice and the staff has been great. Overall I am happy here. I am satisfied with everything. The activities are really good and keeps us busy. It’s not home but it’s the next best thing. I feel safe and cared for here.

My wife came to this facility not at all willing for the experience but in 3 months said she's feeling safe here and she is okay for the short term. That's much more than I'd expected.

Awesome staff and residents.

They have all kinds of activities for the residents. The staff is very pleasant, and the dining room and food are great. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

5 in all of the above. We were thrilled with her care! The management and the staff, they took such good care if [name removed] and really treated her well and like family. They communicated well and kept us up to date. All the staff knew who [name removed] was and what her status was every time we went to see her. When she was passing the night nurses were amazing with my husband and went on about how great [name removed] was. It meant so much to him. [name removed] sold me on my first visit. She could not have been more helpful! [name removed] was great too, they all said we could reach out to any of them anytime.

The experience from walk-through visit, intake, move in has been nothing less then great! The facility is super clean, the staff from admin, house keeping, activities to the dining room is extremely freely and always willing to answer questions or assist with the residents. The residents are friendly and happy! I go to the facility every day and not one time have I had a negative experience. I highly recommend this facility.

[name removed] has been wonderful to work with. Goes out of his way to be friendly. It's been a great experience so far in memory care. What we like the most about the community is the secluded location. Always see employees when visiting.

Great Staff and Facility. Staff are very accommodating and professional. Facility is A1.

The approach to care that is focused on the resident's wishes versus a regimented approach is excellent, especially in the case of my mom, who doesn't like to be forced to participate in activities. One concern I have is if/when she is regularly granted her wish NOT to bathe or have her hair washed; it makes me concerned for her hygiene. On a very positive note: Mom is a finicky eater and she has managed to gain 10 necessary pounds in a short time there. That's a huge credit to the cooking staff and the meals they prepare!

What we like the most about the community is that They are all easy to approach about anything. They all work together. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale Spring Shadows to other families based on the experience so far.

My mother moved in 2 years ago. She wanted to just stay in her apartment. She had just lost her husband and the staff here loved on her and soon she was joining in on meals in the dining room and activities. Now she is on resident council. Brookdale Adrian is home!
