Brookdale

We are very pleased with the staff at Brookdale Richland Hills, the accommodations and the overall atmosphere. It is a pleasant place to visit and they keep me informed of all things pertaining to my brother in law. The Director, Blake is awesome and the facility is always clean and neat. I might mention that we originally were looking at the Memory Care building and although we were pleased with it, after his evaluation it was determined he was suited for Assisted Living. That was a very good decision because even though he has dementia, he is highly functional and this is a better fit for him. Overall I would give this facility and staff a 10 out of 10.

Everyone is nice & friendly. They care for you and they do for you as you ask them. The food is really good at breakfast. They take your order for whatever you want.

The entire staff are amazing. Any help my parents need is quickly taken care of. I fully trust my parents are safe and taken care of.

The food is good the caretakers are very nice and very helpful, and the place is always clean. My wife has been in Brookdale since last June and she likes it there. I would recommend Brookdale to anybody.

Smaller facility, staff is great, apt units vs hospital type room and more affordable than most. I highly recommend Brookdale Buck Creek! And the food is great!

From the start, the experience felt supportive and responsive. I was able to get quick guidance when I needed it, and every interaction felt warm and attentive. Visiting the community confirmed that same feeling-welcoming staff, a comfortable environment, and a genuine connection with residents. Communication stayed strong throughout, even with multiple family members involved. The move-in process was handled thoughtfully, with helpful touches that made it feel like home. While a few outside logistics were challenging at first, they were eventually resolved. Overall, it's been a very positive experience. Residents are treated with kindness and respect, and there's a clear sense of care. Activities and outings help keep everyone engaged, and it's reassuring to see a loved one feel comfortable and supported.

They are helpful and easy to work with. Wonderful, nice and helpful staff. Great food. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Administrative staff and nursing staff are super. The facility has a homey feeling. The studio rooms are spacious.

I believe that they have a good care team. I eat there often and the food is good. The admission is easily assessable, and help with any concerns.

The director, [name removed] is awesome. They also keep me informed about his care.

The staff and facility were stellar. I would recommend them to others who are searching - They are a superior facility and understand how to care for the elderly with memory issues.

Over all experience---5 stars. They were excellent. I had an occasion to speak with several members on different shifts. When I explained that I am [Name removed] MPOA, they asked for documentation, and rightly so. We sent both the signed, notorized docs for our brother who is the (POA) and me. Staff was very helpful in answering my questions. This is my first experience. Staff was really patient and understanding. I had a chance to catch them up a little on my brother's medical history. I was able to give them names and phone numbers of medical doctors that [Name removed] has. We had difficulty finding an assisted living facility in Albuquerque. So it took us a little longer to find a nice one for [Name removed]. We got transportation to bring him to Albuquerque where a majority of our brothers and sisters live. I appreciated the calls from both Memorial and Encompass asking me questions about him. That really showed they cared. If I had to leave a message for a specific person, the call was returned in a timely manner. I cannot address the condition of the facilities because I was not there. We did everything by phone. But I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness in staff voices. It was a good experience communicating with both facilities. My sister and I went to every facility we could here in Albuq. Some of the facilities emailed me asking if we placed him. When I told them the name, they each said that it is an excellent facility.....and it is. I walk down the halls and it is WONDERFUL to hear laughter, bingo numbers being called, a good movie with captioning, an ice cream social going on in another room. I don't believe that I have ever seen a more active place.

My family & I are incredibly grateful for the staff who care for my grandmother every day. While facilities are important, what truly makes a difference is the people & the staff here have been consistently kind, attentive, & compassionate. [Name Removed], in particular, go above and beyond to make sure my grandmother is comfortable, cared for, & treated with dignity. It brings our family so much peace of mind knowing she is in caring hands. They are always warm & welcoming whenever we come to visit, which makes a difficult stage of life feel much more supportive & personal. What truly speaks to their character is that they even attended my grandfather’s celebration of life outside of their work hours. That gesture meant so much to our family & shows how deeply they care & how they truly treat the residents & their families like their own. Their kindness, patience, & genuine concern do not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate everything they do for my grandmother and for our family.
