Brookdale

I recently had a tour with [name removed] and to say I was impressed is an understatement. In looking for assisted living for my parent, Avondale exceeded my expectations. The rooms, living areas, dining room and courtyard were cozy, clean, well kept and reasonably priced. The residents have plenty of activities and a lovely dining area.

At 90 years young, my Mom was ready to give up her home of 50 + years, and move to a community environment. Brookdale Eden Estates made a stressful, traumatic experience easy for all of us. From the supportive staff, to the well maintained facility, we could not be more pleased! My Mom loves it, and without the stress of living alone, she is back to being her happy and healthy self!

All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. They take great care of my friend. She really likes them all also. Food is delicious and everything is very clean. They have lots of different activities they they do to keep residents busy if they choose to do so.

Had Thanksgiving with [name removed] here and it was nice. They really enjoyed it. They have been here for about 6 months and they say it’s the best move they made. ??. If they like it then that all we as loved ones need to hear.

We recently made the decision to place our Aunt with Brookdale at Lawndale and it has been the best decision we could have ever made. She has so many things to keep her busy and has made friends with wonderful residents. We cannot say enough good things about Brookdale and excited to watch our Aunt continue to flourish. We believe we've found our forever home.

I am grateful to have Brookdale Oak Hollow community walking with me and my family during this time with mom's care. You couldn't ask for a better management or staff who care and love their residents and the residents family like they do. These are hard times for everyone involved. Brookdale helps you make the transition a little bit easier.

Was helped with a tech issue with my mother in law. Was patient and thorough. Thank you staff!

Most of the staff know my brother by name and have appropriate conversations. I have been told that my brother is well liked by the staff. He regularly plays Poker with a group of people, but the BINGO is way too old for him,. A recommendation to Brookdale would be WII sports.

I really enjoy living at Brookdale Lake Mary. Everyone treats me so nice. The food is really good and the activities keep me busy. I like to people watch so I am often in the front lobby greeting everyone as they come in and out.

The staff is caring and conscientious. The food is delicious, and there are a lot of engaging activities. We have been pleased to see our mom so well adjusted and happy there.

Not only is the staff loving and attentive towards my dad, the management regularly shows appreciation for the staff! It makes a huge difference when you enjoy where you work, and helps you approach even difficult days with goals to succeed! The changes in the dining menu have become a hit among the residents and families, as well as the increased trips outside of the facility. Their partnerships with the township, therapy animals and Veterans lodge for events are awesome additions to their fun-filled activity calendars! I would recommend this facility any day!

The staff / facility is a really world class. I read some negative reviews of Brookdale as a corporation online but have nothing but good things to say. They were helpful, extremely accommodating to my mother's needs, and they were very accommodating and helpful when I needed to close our account. I couldn't recommend them enough, and I hope I can live in a place like Brookdale Sakonnet bay when I am a senior!

My father is currently a resident at Brookdale Brighton and everything has been great for him so far at this facility. The friendliness and staff are great, we've had no issues. The care services seem great, my father is very happy with them. According to my father, the food is great. The activities are also great, my father is active again. The value for cost is great, I suppose. It works with my father's budget. Brookdale Brighton was at the top of our list out of 25 facilities in the area. We have no complaints!

It's been a terrific experience. The people have been nice and the staff have been helpful. Honestly, because the atmosphere was warm and positive. And the people seemed genuine and caring.

The time came when my dad could no longer live alone... I started searching for memory care facilities in Lafayette & the surrounding areas. My very last tour was Brookdale. When I took my first step in the facility I was greeted by staff with smiles, kindness & compassion. As Sara was showing me around, every single staff member went out of their to welcome me & introduce themselves! The residents were so happy whether they were involved in an activity, or in an area just chatting, EVERYONE was having fun! They have their very own hair Salon, Library, Gym, Gourmet Chef plus, so much more just for the residents! They go on shopping trips every week for their Assisted Living Residents. They have live bands for entertainment! It's phenomenal! Remember that saying, “save the best for last” that's an understatement! Brookdale is absolutely, most definitely the ONLY place for my Dad! The staff at Brookdale are so kind, caring, loving, compassionate & devoted to all of residents!!

We transferred our mom from [name removed] into a studio in Glen Ellyn. At the time my mom was in rehab and we expected her to live her life at the beautiful community near us in Glen Ellyn. We already loved the place because my husband’s grandmother had lived there and my daughter had her first job as a server in the restaurant at Brookdale. When we walked in the place, once again, after years, it was just as beautiful and we were greeted with love and kindness, and were excited to be moving our mom there. We moved all of moms belongings in. Unfortunately, my mom passed away before she had a chance to enjoy the lovely studio. It didn’t matter, they still treated us and her as if she had lived there, and we were family to them and we had so much support and love. It was overwhelming and we will never forget that.

It's very nice, friendly staff, very accommodating. We picked this community because of the location. I would recommend to others.

If a friend asked I would tell them. For our situation I could not be happier. The Brookdale community has been exceptional and will eagerly go out of their way to help. Why did I select Brookdale is simple. I hate to say it this way but they are a more compatible social class that best fit my parents foundational values.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to put our daddy. The nursing care is top notch. The nurses stay on top of everything and always notify us if there are any concerns or changes to medications. There are plenty of activities for him to get involved in or just sit and watch. They have nurse practitioners, therapy, home health and hospice that all come in to the building. We were able to stop having to drag him around to all his medical appointments because they do it all there at the community! We are able to go about our daily lives without having to worry about daddy and we are able to visit and be his daughters again, not his caregivers. This community is small but the care and love show by the staff is mighty.

The whole staff is great..The facility is older, But they are putting in new carpet and they keep everything clean. I would recommend Brookdale Orange Park to others who are looking for their loved ones.
