Brookdale

My dad has been here for a year. He is so happy at Brookdale Lake Highlands. The staff does an amazing job.

Very nice facility. The staff is very friendly, they care a lot about the residents and they take care of them really well. They're very knowledgeable when it comes to the needs of residents and if families have questions. They're all appreciated.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every family feels seen and that every resident feels at home!! I would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a place for your loved one.

I lived alone for 51 years. When I needed more assistance I moved to Brookdale. For me, Brookdale is home.

We have been very pleased with the care our family members at Brookdale Denton South receive. Staff provides activities, entertainment, holiday events and most important of all a safe caring environment for loved ones.

I rated 4 for cleanliness based on this being the home of many people who were no longer focused on neatness. If I viewed this as a hotel the rating would be lower. Cleanliness declined for a period in 2023, but the person doing the cleaning in 2024 (I stopped going in July) was really good and consiencious. Only ate there a couple times. Food was plain but fairly good. Able to judge mainly on appearance. Glennis refused almost everything; a manifestation of her dementia. Brookdale tried very hard to find things she would. Fair success for breakfast, not so for rest of meals. I had found one Lean Cousine meal she would eat and provided a copy of that every day for her lunch. Were fewer activities than I originally expected, but I may have been unrealistic. [name removed] declined to participate so I can't really evaluate. I'm very impressed with Wuesthoff Hospice - both with the care they gave [name removed] and with the follow up grief counseling available to me.

Brookdale Dowlen Oaks is a beautiful home away from home assisted living facility. The staff are always doing their best to make every resident and family member feel safe, comfortable and well taken care of. They greet everyone with a smile and work diligently to meet each resident and family’s needs. I ?? Brookdale!

The staff is always welcoming and friendly. According to my children who visits during mealtime , he has a healthy appetite. I know that y'all attempt to take him outside at times. Taking care of individuals are a difficult and time consuming task. I am thankful to all of you.

Facilities are in very good condition for age. All staff members are exceptional, caring and responsive both in daily contact and medical needs. My mother does feel some meals are repetitive, but that is subjective. Hasn't partaken in many outside activities yet, however she lies the family nights. Currently the overall value is fair but they have already announced a substantial price increase for next year

We have had a great experience so far at Brookdale Lafayette. The facility is very clean and the staff is very helpful. The staff has taken care of my dad’s needs and have been very helpful in helping him make the transition to his new home. The administrative staff also helped me navigate the paperwork and made sure I was aware and understood all of our options.

My mom unfortunately passed away in January. The move to Brookdale of Pocatello was the best move possible. [name removed] made the move effortless for my mom and I.

When my siblings and I started to look for a memory care place for our mom, Brookdale immediately stood out from the other places we looked at. The director was so patient with all of questions and was always available to talk with us. We made the decision to have our mom move in at Brookdale and everything from her room to the services she receives are awesome. It is very obvious that the Brookdale staff form a bond with the residents and care very much for their well being. The communication from the Brookdale staff has been open and on a regular basis. We always know what was happening and their thoughts on things regarding her care. Someone is always available to speak to us. We are very happy with our mom being a resident at Brookdale and feel that Brookdale is now her home.

Mom moved into Brookdale in late August. I have never heard her ask to go “home”. They keep her clean, which is hard because she’s incontinent. The facility is clean. The people are nice. The meals seem petite by my standard but she doesn’t say she’s hungry. How many calories can you really burn when you sleep 3/4 of the day? I know the staff has their hands full with keeping her clean. She was a challenge for us, that’s why we opted to seek out a nursing home. She was hitting and kicking my dad and me changing her pants and cleaning her bottom. I feel that she’s safe there and that gives us peace.

We have only been there for three weeks. So review is limited. I have only been there once since I live out of state. Hopefully my Mom is adjusting to this facility. My brother has gone in once or twice a week. I don’t feel as if we can give an adequate review.

What we like the most about Brookdale Southfield is the concern for their residents as well as their willingness to assist their residents. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The concierge is sometimes a bit brusk. What I really like about the community is the food quality and I would recommend Brookdale Gaines Ranch to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

Our mom had Alzhiemers and we were in need for a facility for her. They gave us a tour and the place is beautiful... Lucky fir us it was around lunch time and we're served lunch... food was amazing and they had beautiful music as well... Highly recommend!

My mother is 93 and entered the Memory Care Community at Collin Oaks 4 months ago after recently losing her husband of 74 years. She has adjusted well and is very happy. At each visit she tells us how nice everyone is to her. The staff has been great. They keep us updated and informed. The staff keeps the residents busy with fun activities and exercise classes. And, she loves the food. This has been a very positive experience and I highly recommend Collin Oaks.

The staff are wonderful, everyone is very friendly, kind, competent and caring. The director, head nurse and sales manager all have bent over backward to help make my dad's transition to life in assisted living smooth and helped us with any bumps on the road. My dad says the aides "genuinely care about me" and take the time to talk and joke with him and help him move at the pace his condition allows. He was in many rehab facilities before this, and he really appreciates the slower, more personal and less stressed pace. I appreciate that the facility is small enough to feel intimate, like a family setting, after he was in many larger institutions. His room is like a mini apartment with a sleeping, living, and kitchenette area along with a spacious bathroom. He has a corner room with three large windows letting in light and allowing him to watch the wildlife that move through. It doesn't feel at all like the hospital type rooms he's had before in rehab. We have been happy with the therapy services Brookdale has contracted as well as the care he has received from the aides, visiting doctors, and nurses. The activities director always asks if my dad wants to participate, but respects his decision if he declines. They have a variety of activities available for all abilities. The only areas we haven't been as impressed are in the level of housekeeping for his room and the food. I often end up cleaning up messes in his room though the week, since housekeeping is only done weekly. The food is simple and often prepackaged. My dad enjoys eating it, but I saw better quality food at some of his rehab facilities. Overall, though, the personal attention, kindness and care he and our family have received far outweighs any down side. I would highly recommend Brookdale Ann Arbor to anyone looking for a home away from home for their older loved one

It's a great place with a lot of friendly people who work there. They make sure the residents have what they need and help out when needed. I would recommend to others.
