Benchmark Senior Living

The facility was very well maintained and made a great first impression. It was the only place we toured that had an indoor pool, which was a nice feature. The location is a bit remote, and the waiting list for assisted living is quite long, but overall it was a positive experience. I would highly recommend Meadow Ridge.

Evert category would be a five, except for the quality of food. Virginia does not eat all that well, so I just cant say. If everything else is a definite 5, then I feel the food would be right up there. I feel [name removed] is in the best facility for her needs.

The layout is very homey, staff is knowledgeable and caring. Ample food choices and housekeeping is available 7 days a week.

Overall experience is great. Facility is beautiful, staff are great, activities are very good, food is good, single room size is good, shared room is small

Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. I would you recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for themselves or a loved one.

The staff from the Director to the Support staff have all been extraordinarily kind, patient and thoroughly knowledgeable about what needs to be done to help Mom continue with her adjustment at the community. I receive daily updates regarding Mom. I receive updates if there happens to be any falling incidents in which there has been. I truly appreciate being kept informed. I find the Atrium at Rocky Hill to be extraordinary clean. I've had the opportunity to have lunch there a couple of times which was very good! Overall, I would give a rating of a five as I said earlier and very pleased with all of this, even though it's been a rocky transition, For Mom, but that has everything to do with who she is with her ebbing memory.

The Staff was very caring, knowledgeable, and helped my mom a great deal in her final days. The facility was beautiful with lovely areas indoors and outdoors. Although mom was so ill we didn't get to use them. Her apartment was very large bright with a wonderful view of the grounds. Although my mother was only there for one week before she passed, my sister, brother, and I all commented that she would have been better cared for if we brought her to Haverhill Crossing sooner. She wanted to stay in her house for as long as possible but in hindsight we agreed Haverhill Crossing would have been better.

Very nice place, not too big, was clean and staff and residents were friendly. Way better than the new senior resort residence just a mile away which was too big and did not have the homey feel of Middlebrook Farms.

[name removed] gets constant attention from staff. His day is full. He has already gained five (needed)pounds so I assume the food is good. Staff responds to his needs, for instance, recommending PT and OT, which appear to have improved his balance and walking. His apartment is adequate size and is always made up and clean.

We have had an amazing experience at Capital Ridge from the moment we first visited. The staff is warm and welcoming and the first thing that we noticed was how happy all of the residents were. [Name Removed], the director, was thorough in her explanation of the residence, the benefits, costs etc all the while being extremely compassionate to our needs. Once we moved my aunt in, she held a meet and greet with my family and all of the various directors so that we knew who was in charge of each department. 2 weeks in, they all knew my aunt and were well aware of her needs and her day to day activities, meals etc. there are many varied daily activities at capital ridge and we are particularly thankful that the staff will often stop by my aunts apt and ask her if she would like to join in as she is currently suffering from early onset Alzheimer's and is often confused. She has r see rated that she likes living there and she knows she can reach out to any staff member when she needs help. Capital Ridge is a a beautiful facility that is lovingly maintained inside and out. We are very pleased so far. Thank you so much for connecting us to Capital Ridge- we couldn't be happier.

The staff is wonderful. My Mom is happy there, but the cost seems very high for the care package. I'd be interested in an alternative if we could save some money.

[name removed]was wonderful to speak with when looking at the facility. All my questions were answered before I had to ask them. She really studied what my Dad's needs were and matched him to the perfect unit.

Staff always smiling, pleasant and helpful. They treat dad with compassion and humor!

Great staff, great community and it is very easy to contact staff when you need to. Highly recommend by us. My family member moved in needed more help originally . And they provided everything she needed. They helped to facilitate assistance for her and encouraged her independence. She is doing great and has made many friends.

I just have to say, to be honest nothing is perfect in life, hence the 4s rather than all 5s. But the overall experience with BRC has been a 5. The staff is fantastic: so friendly and warm with the residents. The administration was really helpful to me wrt my mother's needs and prognosis and placement within the community to best support her. I was not objective, and they gently but firmly guided me to accept that Mom needed more help than I realized. I see assisted living residents at BRC meeting in the common areas to read the paper together and discuss current events, or to watch sports or movies together. My mom is now in the memory care unit, and the activities there are all communal, which keeps the residents busy and with social interaction.

We toured the Memory Care unit. The facility was clean, the residents engaged in activities they seemed to enjoy. Staff was pleasant. The apartment we toured was quite small ( a studio). While I like Tatnuck Park very much, I do think it’s quite a bit more expensive than some other places we toured, and the apartment smaller.

And in addition, my friend has moved to the memory care unit and is thriving there. I have great peace of mind after I visit because he is totally engaged in whatever activity is going on at the moment. I absolutely recommend Benchmark on Clapboardtree. The staff is knowledgeable and caring.

Care and attentiveness to patient needs, I willingly rate Benchmark a strong 5! I would recommend Benchmark Memory care without hesitation, I would add the caveat to watch the billing. I have been waiting going on 90 days for a refund of an overpayment.

Wonderful facility. Very welcoming and well maintained. Unfortunately the cost for a respite stay was way out of our price range. Hoping to get a short respite stay of 1 week apparently it is not available in most facilities. The minimum stay is 30 days which would be more than $[removed]. I understand level of care does drive the price up a bit . It’s just unfortunate a shorter stay isn’t an option for care givers who need a short reprieve.

Our family was looking for a place in Massachusetts to place our aunt. She had lived alone for 40 years and was starting to have issues where she needed some extra help. She finally decided that it would be best to move back up here to Massachusetts to be closer to family. this was a very hard decision for her. We went to three other local facilities before coming to the branches. Once we walked in the staff was outstanding. they all had great, big smiles. you could tell that they were all very happy to work there. You could see all the great interaction with the staff and the people living there the facility was absolutely stunning. Very new very clean. Nice outdoor area. Nice walking area outside. Then we looked at all the activities that were offered every day and were surprised how good they were for all of the residents. my aunt immediately said this was the place for her, which was such a relief for us After speaking with the sales/resident placement man we found that there were two openings for one bedroom units. We were thrilled thinking that we'd have to wait 6 to 12 months to move her in there. The move-in was flawless with much help from the staff, making sure that everything went smoothly for her and making sure that her first night there she had people to sit with at the dinner table, explaining how the menus worked and all the offerings that they had. She has been there about a month and a half and couldn't be happier. The staff has been even more outstanding than we thought that they would be when we first committed I can't say enough good things about the branches in the way that they've treated my aunt all the activities she's involved in how they help her get involved with other residents. She has made many friends there and is extremely Happy. Thank you a place to Mom for making this possible for us.
