I visited Alto Walden Woods the other day, and I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel walking in. But the place had this calm, clean, cared-for feeling that put me at ease almost right away. The halls smelled fresh, the rooms looked neat, and something about the atmosphere just felt… safe. At 76, that matters more than anything. What really touched me was watching the staff with the residents. The way they spoke to people; gently, patiently, reminded me of how I used to care for my own mother. It felt genuine. Management was just as thoughtful; they listened to me, really listened, and didn’t rush me through a single thing. I left feeling surprisingly calm about the whole idea, and I’m truly considering making Alto Walden Woods my next home.

Alto is very nice in every aspect. Staff is great! Very pleased with everything!

We regularly visit a friend who has lived at Alto for several years. He is an active member of the community and contributes his musical talents to entertain his fellow residents. It’s a lovely facility with a friendly, professional staff who go out of their way to make even the visitors feel welcome. Management goes above and beyond in entertainment. We recently attended an amazing Luau event there that featured a huge Hawaiian feast and a professional group of musicians, hula dancers and a fire dancer. Themed events like these are staged all year round. Alto has a very good vibe.

This facility is absolutely amazing from the staff to the residents. You mist see how beautiful this facility is in person. The management staff is absolutely phenomenal with families and residents...........

Care staff are wonderful, [name removed] is under hospice care. Everyone has been so supportive both with [name removed] and myself. Room is cleaned and taken care of. [name removed] appetite comes and goes but the food is very good. I feel the money is well worth the care, support and understanding is well worth the cost

The positivity and resilience of the management and staff here are remarkable. The passion that goes into daily routines and helping never goes unnoticed. There are core values of kindness and respect that are very evident and the management and staff don't just talk about making a difference, they truly take action in showing it, always. The clean living and community spaces are a huge value as well. I feel entirely thankful and blessed to have found a home away from home at such a difficult time for my loved one. Thank you for everything!

I’m 84, and I’ll tell you, I’ve toured enough facilities to know when a place is putting on a show. This one wasn’t — it was genuinely clean, right down to the windowsills. I even checked one when no one was looking, and it passed the test. The staff were warm and patient, the kind of people who treat residents like family. Management didn’t hide in an office either; they walked with me, listened carefully, and showed real attentiveness. If I ever decide it’s time for a little extra help, this place will stay on my short list.

Facility is very nice, one of the nicer facilities I've seen. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend giving this faculty a tour if you're looking for a home for your loved ones.

This community feels very family oriented and is small enough that the staff and management know everyone on a personal note. Management is quick to correct anything that is brought to their attention and I can call them at any time and they pick up their personal phones. The staff is very caring and cater to the residents, I sleep knowing my loved one will be taken care of.

I would give them a 5 in all categories. Great experience for us as well as our Mom. The apartment is beautiful. There is plenty of room for my nieces, nephew's great nieces and brothers and sisters to go and visit her. I feel the environment is very safe as to the security as well as some of her limited abilities at this time. I wish they would force her or encourage her to participate more as she says the days are long and she's bored.

The employees were awesome. Always seeing to the residents and their families. The medical staff keeping the family updated on any issues that arise. The friendliness of everyone who worked there.

Residents are very happy, staff really cares, facility is very nice. I would recommend it.

So far everything has been fantastic. The staff is very friendly and works really hard to accomplish meeting. All of the needs that we have. I have been very impressed. The food is good. The dining room is beautiful and the staff is friendly. Everything is clean. The cleaning staff has helped with the move by picking up boxes and trash several times a day. Honestly, I could not be happier.

The staff has been very helpful and accommodating. Everyone from the administrator to the maintenance crew have been so supportive!

My dad is in the independent living side, but from exchanges with others, it also seems to be highly regarded. The staff is amazing!!! I eat with my dad occasionally. It's worth every penny and is much more reasonable than other facilities I looked at. No large buy in payment which is a huge plus.

From what I can see I'd give it a 5. Everyone seems friendly and mother is doing really good. I like that it is not gloomy. It has an open floor plan with lots of light.

They are engaged, and invested emotionally and physically with the residents. Even coming back in late evening to be with the family members when the spouse passed away. They are so very accommodating to any request from the residents. I can't say enough about the staff. The facilities are immaculate and the setup encourages interaction and activities.

My aunt needs assistance and I can't think of a better place for her to be. It gives me peace of mind to know she has a professional staff to take care of her. Everyone is so nice specially [name removed]. Thank you all.
